The proposed rule changes primarily update the definition of “drug” to specifically include kratom. The proposal also makes some administrative changes for clarification.

The proposed changes to the Claims Handling Standards would clarify existing requirements for adjusting entities and claims adjusters. The amendments would clarify that adjuster-change notices, add a requirement for notification of closing a claim, and other administrative changes for clarification.

In honor of Veterans Week, on Tuesday, November 10, 2026, attorneys at the Tennessee Office of the Attorney General will prepare and execute basic wills at no cost to current and former servicemembers.
