FR199 - Rope Rescue Awareness Level
Overview
Rope Rescue Awareness is an entry level course prepares a student for the Operations level by introducing them to basic Rope Rescue theory. This course provides individuals training in accordance with NFPA 1006 2021 Rope Rescue Awareness Level, as well as NFPA 1670 2021, NFPA 2500 Rope Rescue Awareness Level for groups and teams. Rope Rescue Awareness training consists of classroom presentation, regarding the safety, size-up, hazard recognition, hazard control, and First Responders Level of Rope Rescue Considerations. This training will provide rescuers with basic equipment identification utilized for Rope Rescue incidents.
