NOTICE OF PUBLIC SPECIAL MEETING

Location: WEBEX MEETING
Due to the ongoing Coronavirus outbreak, the August 27, 2020 special meeting of the Tennessee Emergency Communications Board (the “Board”) will be held via Webex only at this time. This is being done pursuant to Governor Bill Lee’s Executive Order #16, as extended by Executive Orders # 34 and 51, which can be read here. Invitations to attend the meeting via Webex will be sent out to and available for the public in a separate email. For members of the public that cannot attend via Webex, the Board’s meeting will be recorded and posted online on the Department of Commerce and Insurance’s website for public viewing immediately following the close of the meeting.
At this special meeting, the Board will only be addressing tasking the Operations Advisory Committee with developing guidelines for model PSAP operations.
Any members of the public that may have a question or comment regarding this subject may submit the question to Board staff up via email up until the start of the meeting.
