The Medical Advisory Committee assists the administrator in the development of the treatment guidelines and advises the administrator on issues relating to medical care in the workers’ compensation system. The committee is comprised of practitioners in the medical community having experience in the treatment of workers’ compensation injuries, representatives of the insurance industry, employer representatives, and employee representatives.

The American Job Center in Huntingdon, Tennessee, will host a job fair Thursday, November 6, 2025. The event is 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. CST.

A free expungement clinic will be held Saturday, November 8, 2025, in Clarksville. The clinic is 8 a.m. to noon CST.

A Prevailing Wage Commission special meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. (CST) at the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD) building in Nashville.

NEW TIME: The State Workforce Development Board is scheduled to meet on Friday, November 14, 2025, with the full board meeting from 9:00 a.m. to approximately 11:00 a.m. (CST) in Nashville, TN.

The State Unemployment Compensation Advisory Council (UCAC) will meet on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, from 9 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. CST.

The Tennessee Apprenticeship Council (TAC) is scheduled to meet Thursday, November 20, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. (CST), in Nashville, TN.

The committee hears disputes on medical bill payments between providers and insurers and advises the administrator on issues relating to the medical fee schedule and medical care cost containment in the workers’ compensation system.
