TNVCA Closure

It is with great sadness we announce, effective immediately, the Tennessee Volunteer Challenge Academy is closing its doors due to the current state budget crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. TNVCA was a great program that provided an alternative path in many youths’ lives. The state had to make difficult budgetary adjustments and shift their efforts and resources to fight this historical pandemic. As a result, the state provided funding, with matching federal funds, had to be shifted in an effort to fund the fight against the pandemic.

We want to thank all the staff and faculty of TNVCA for your stalwart work and everyone’s steadfast support of the program. It is because of these efforts, we were able to make a positive impact of many young Tennesseans lives. These are challenging times and we will continue to support one another as we forge the path ahead.
