Opiates took everything from me- a marriage, my kids, my house, my cars, every job I ever had and they even took my mother’s life due to an overdose. Heroin caused me to go into cardiac arrest three times. By the time I asked for help, I had nothing, but Jesus said that was exactly where He wanted me! I know I needed Jesus and he has helped me get free-not sober. But FREE! He’s given back my kids, my life and another chance to do it again right! Thank you Jesus Christ!

Opioids took me to a really dark place in my life. They caused me to become very selfish and self-centered. They forced me to lose my family and lose all hope. All of the joy in my life disappeared. I felt alone, lost and had no self-worth. Heroin took me farther than I wanted to and cost me more than I wanted to pay. It left me in a place I never thought I would be. God, however, found me in that mess, rescued me and gave me a new life in Jesus Christ.
