I never knew I was addicted until I tried to stop. I thought my life would end in the grips of addiction. I was hopeless and lost. I entered treatment and never looked back. Today, I am the wife, daughter, granddaughter, sister, aunt and friend I never thought I could be. I’m trusted, have integrity and most importantly have learned to love myself. Today, I am a drug and alcohol counselor at the facility that saved my life. My recovery gets to be an example to those trying to change. All because someone believed in me, I recovered.
