Nolensville Market Filled with Food and Fun

Pick Tennessee Products will be at the Nolensville Farmers Market for a special media day Saturday, June 13.

Media will have access to the market’s vendors and farmers for interviews, and the market area will provide colorful images and video. Tennessee State University’s Dr. George R. Smith will also be on hand for interviews and to conduct public question and answer sessions about the positive and negative impacts of urban development on agriculture.

The Nolensville Farmers Market was organized by members of the community and is open every Saturday through October 31. Approximately 30 vendors sell produce, honey, baked goods, meats, dairy products and artisan crafts at the popular market.

Who:       All media are invited. Local officials are also encouraged to attend.
When:     Saturday, June 13 from 8 a.m. until noon.
