BLOUNT COUNTY, US 129 / SR 115 between W. Broadway Avenue and US 321: Motorists should be alert for road construction on Mall Road near Foothills Mall in Maryville.  Motorists should be alert for a lane closure on the southbound side of US 129 to be in place until work is complete.  A temporary lane closure is possible daily between the hours of 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. in the northbound direction.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, use caution and expect potential delays in this area.

BLOUNT COUNTY, SR 33 between Williams Mill Road and Martin Mill Pike: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary daytime lane closures between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. through this intersection improvement project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 156 and 159: On Sunday, February 22, 2015 through Thursday, February 26, 2015, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform lane shifts and set portable barrier rails through this barrier gate installation project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

CARTER COUNTY, SR 362 Gap Creek Road between SR 361 and SR 67: Motorists should be alert for lane shifts, narrow lanes, temporary traffic diversions and possible lane closures at various times through this project. Motorists should be alert for changed conditions and use extreme caution in this area.

COCKE/JEFFERSON COUNTY, US 25E/SR 32 Bridge over the French Broad River:  Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures with flagging personnel present at various times through this bridge construction project near the Cocke and Jefferson County line. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

COCKE/JEFFERSON COUNTY, US 411/SR 35 at US 25W:  Motorists should be alert for a new traffic patterns and lane shifts through this project.  Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures with flagging personnel present at various times through this construction project. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

COCKE COUNTY, SR 32 Bridge over Cosby Creek at Log Mile 9.8: Motorists should be alert for construction activities and use caution in this area.

GREENE COUNTY, SR 93 at Log Mile 2.15 near Old Wilson Hill Road: SR 93 is closed to thru traffic and detoured as crews begin this drainage structure replacement project.  SR 93 thru traffic is being detoured utilizing SR 34 and SR 351 around this closure.  This will be an extended closure until the replacement is completed at this location.  Motorist should be alert for changed conditions, follow signed detours and use extreme caution in this area.

GREENE COUNTY, SR 70 at US 321: On Wednesday, February 24, 2015, SR 70 will be closed to thru traffic near US 321 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews repair rail road crossings at this location.  Motorists should follow signed detour utilizing US 11E and US 321 during this time.  Motorists should be alert for changed condition and use caution in this area.

HAMBLEN COUNTY, US 25E/SR 32 over US 11E/SR 34 and Norfolk Southern Railroad: US 25E/SR 32 is reduced to one lane in both directions across the bridge over US 11E/SR 34 as crews begin Phase 1 bridge repairs.  These closures will remain in place until repairs are completed.  Motorists should expect potential delays associated with these lane closures.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

HAMBLEN COUNTY, SR 160 at Merchants Greene: Motorists should be alert for lane shifts near this intersection as crews perform work through this bridge construction project.  Motorists should be alert for changing conditions and use extreme caution in this area.

HANCOCK COUNTY, SR 70/SR 33 Interchange: Motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures at various times during daylight hours through this bridge construction project.  Motorists should be alert for reduced speeds and use extreme caution in this area.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, I-40 East and West Bridge over the French Broad River near Mile Marker 425: I-40 East and West across the bridge over Douglas Lake near Mile Marker 425 is reduced to one lane in each direction as crews continue this bridge rehabilitation project.  Motorists should be alert for lane shifts and narrowed lanes in this area.  Traffic loads in excess of 12 feet in width will be prohibited and must follow a detour route.  The wide load detour will be US 25/SR 9 between Exits 424 and 432. Motorists should expect potential delays in this area during peak travel times.  Local traffic should consider using US 25/SR 9 as an alternate route during peak travel periods.  I-81 and I-26 may be used as an alternate route for I-40 “thru traffic” to by-pass this project during peak travel periods. JEFFERSON COUNTY, US 25W Bridge over the French Broad River and SR 113 Ramps at I-40: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures with flag personnel directing traffic at various times through this area as crews receive materials associated with the adjacent I-40 bridge repair project.  Motorists should be alert for equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.

JOHNSON COUNTY, SR 91 between Laurelwood Lane and TN. – VA. State Line: On Monday, February 23, 2015 through Friday, February 27, 2015, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures with flaggers directing traffic during daylight hours as crews perform sign replacements through this area.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 West near Campbell Station Road (Exit 373): Motorists should be alert for traffic shifts and closed shoulders through this project. Motorists should be alert for slowed traffic, expect delays and use extreme caution approaching this area.

KNOX COUNTY, SR 62 (Oak Ridge Hwy. /Western Ave.) between Schaad Road and Copper Kettle Road: Motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures at various times throughout this widening project.  Motorists traveling in this area should be alert for workers and equipment present and be alert for changing traffic conditions, detours, traffic shifts and use caution through this area. North Hinton Road from Western Avenue to Pleasant Ridge Road is closed to through traffic.  This closure is required for the installation of storm drain, curb and gutter, and asphalt paving.  Please be advised that this closure will be for approximately 4 to 6 weeks in duration. Matlock Road at Ball Camp Pike and East Ball Camp Pike between McKamey Road and Dewine Road is closed to thru traffic for construction.  Sullivan Road at SR 62 is closed to thru traffic for construction.  Motorists should be alert for changing conditions and follow signed detour routes. KNOX COUNTY, SR 33 Maynardville Highway between Temple Acres Drive and the Union County Line:  Motorists should be alert for slowed traffic and use caution in this area.  Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures with flagging personnel present at various times as work continues through this widening project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, traffic shifts and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, SR 131 Emory Road between Gill Road and Clinton Highway: The new alignment of Emory Road in Powell from State Route 9 (Clinton Highway) to just south of Gill Road is open to traffic.   Motorists should use extra caution when traveling in this area. Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures along the new roadway as crews complete final items.  Motorists should be alert for changed conditions in this area.

LOUDON COUNTY, US 321/SR 73 between SR 2 and City Park Drive: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures at various times through this project. LOUDON COUNTY, SR 444 at US 321/SR 73: Motorists should be alert for a possible temporary lane closures between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform construction activities near this location.  Motorists should be alert for slowed traffic and use extreme caution in this area.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Mile Markers 346 and 348: Motorists should be alert for temporary daily lane closures in this area between the hours of 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. for roadside maintenance activities.  Motorists should be alert for slowed traffic and use extreme caution in this area.

SEVIER COUNTY, I-40 East and West near Mile Marker 407: Motorists should be alert for possible nightly lane closures between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews perform overhead bridge work. Motorist should be alert for lane shifts and changed conditions in this area. Motorists should expect potential delays, use extreme caution and be alert for possible slowed traffic approaching this area. 

SEVIER COUNTY, SR 66 over I-40 at Exit 407: Motorists should be alert for possible nightly lane closures on SR 66 between the hours of 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews continue work in this area.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area. SEVIER COUNTY, SR 66 in Sevierville SR 139 (Douglas Dam Rd.) and SR 338 W (Boyd’s Creek Hwy):  Motorists should be alert for possible nightly lane closures on SR 66 southbound between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews continue work in this area.  Motorists should be alert for short duration traffic stops in both directions which may occur daily Monday through Friday through this project for utility crossings. SULLIVAN COUNTY, US 11E/SR 34 at US 19E/SR 37: A temporary detour of SR 37/US19E is in place at the intersection of SR 34/US 11E. Traffic signals have been installed and are operational at the intersection of SR34/37 and SR37/44. Motorists should be alert for changed conditions and follow signed detours. Whitehead Road is closed to thru traffic at the intersection with US 11E and detoured for approximately 2 weeks. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution through this bridge construction and intersection reconstruction project.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, SR 34 between SR 44 and Bristol City Limits: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures and lane shifts through this project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, SR 126 between Jared Drive and Lincoln Street: Motorists should be alert lane closures through this project as crews install storm drainage structures in this area.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

UNICOI COUNTY, SR 107 at Main Street:  Motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures, use extreme caution and be alert for construction personnel and equipment entering and exiting this construction project.

UNICOI COUNTY, US 19W (State Route 36) Bridge over Watts Branch near Log Mile 4: US 19W (State Route 36) in Unicoi County is reduced to one lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal as crews perform bridge repairs over Watts Branch near Log Mile 4. The roadway is reduced to a single lane with nine (9) foot maximum width across the bridge during repairs.  Motorists with loads exceeding this width should seek alternate routes.  Motorists should be alert for changed conditions and use extreme caution in this area. This project is estimated to be completed on or before April 30, 2015.

UNION COUNTY, Existing SR 33 Bridge over Clinch River (Norris Lake) Weight Restrictions: The existing State Route 33 Bridge over Norris Lake is posted with weight limit restrictions and is being strictly enforced.  Weight restrictions are: 5 axle vehicles are 35 tons; 3 or 4 axle vehicle is 22 tons; 2 axle vehicles are 20 tons.  VEHICLES WEIGHING IN EXCESS OF THE RESTRICTED WEIGHTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO CROSS THE BRIDGE AND MUST FOLLOW A DETOUR ROUTE. Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures with flaggers directing traffic at various times and use extreme caution approaching the bridge.

WASHINGTON/SULLIVAN COUNTY, I-26 East and West at SR 75 (Exit 13) Interchange Improvement Project:  Motorists should be alert for a possible lane closures on I-26 as crews perform construction activities through this project. Motorists should be alert for changing conditions, lane shifts, shoulder closures with portable concrete barrier rail and reduced speed limits through this interchange modification project.  Motorists should use extreme caution and expect potential delays when traveling through this area.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, SR 36 between SR 354 and SR 75: Motorists can expect intermittent lane closures throughout the project.  These closures should not last more than a few minutes.  Traffic has been shifted on SR36 to the inside lanes from Boone Avenue up to Oak Grove.  Transitions for these lane shifts are designated by pavement markings and construction barrels.  Browns Road is closed but can be accessed via Boones Creek Road.  Orchard Avenue is closed.  Traffic is still shifted at Spurgeon Island Road.  Motorists are asked to use caution in this area.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, SR 34 between Moccasin Trail and Stockyard Road: Through Tuesday, March 3, 2015, motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures between the hours of 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. as crews place barrier rails through this project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.
