Great Outdoors University Subject for First 2015 Nature @ Noontime Program

NASHVILLE --- Great Outdoors University will be the subject for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s first 2015 Nature @ Noontime program. The program will be held Thursday, Jan. 8 from noon-1 p.m. at the TWRA’s Region II Ray Bell Building.

Tony Lance, a member of the Tennessee Wildlife Federation and program assistant with the Great Outdoors University, will be the program presenter. Great World University was founded in 2005 and is designed to introduce children to the natural world. 

Hosted by the Information and Education Division, Nature @ Noontime is held the first Thursday of each month. TWRA Nature @ Noontime presentations are about natural resources related topics and last about 30-45 minutes, allowing time for discussion during the allotted lunch hour.
