TDOC To Host Family and Friends Forum

JACKSON – The Department of Correction will hold an open forum for family and friends of offenders. This is part of the ongoing mission to operate safe and secure prisons and provide effective community supervision in order to enhance public safety.  The first of three forums will take place in West Tennessee with subsequent forums planned for East and Middle Tennessee later this year. Family and friends of offenders currently incarcerated or on community supervision are invited to attend. Department of Correction leadership will be available to meet and answer general questions about policies, procedures and daily operations. Due to limited space, the event will be restricted to 250 attendees.
