BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

  • Monday August 11 through Saturday October 11, Traffic will be shifted from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville in order to begin utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

 

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

  • From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.
  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to pave set barrier rail and pavement marking installation. One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-65 over CSX Railroad, Rivergate Pkwy, Long Hollow Pike, E Cedar Street, & Mansker Creek

  • Thursday August 7 and Sunday August 10 through Wednesday August 13, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 southbound, between MM 96 and MM 99, at the Mansker Creek, Cedar Street, and Long Hollow Pike bridges in order to put epoxy overlay on the bridge decks and paving.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 254 (Old Hickory Boulevard) over Otter Creek

  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekend), There will be a lane closure on SR 254 in order to perform bridge work.  Flaggers will be utilized.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Ramp Rapair on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) to I-40 W near Summit Hospital

  • Saturday August 9, 4AM through Sunday August 10, 8PM, The on-ramp from Old Hickory Boulevard to I-40 westbound will be closed to replace concrete.  Traffic can access I-40 by continuing down Old Hickory Boulevard to exit 221B.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, 9AM–3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24 (approximately between MM 58 and Elam Road) and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for pull box installation and conduit, repairs and guardrail installation. 

 

DAVIDSON AND WILLIAMSON COUNTIES, Removal & Replacement of HOV Signing & Markings on Various Interstate Routes

  • Wednesday August 13 through Friday August 15, 8PM-5AM, On Wednesday and Thursday, there will be a lane closure on I-65 southbound, from I-440 to the Goose Creek Pike exit, and on Friday, there will be a lane closure on I-65 northbound, from Goose Creek Pike to I-440, for planned work.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, 8AM-4PM, The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Drive in order to install sidewalks.

 

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from the Benton County Line to the Hickman County Line, Including Bridge Repair

  • Thursday August 7 through Friday August 8 and Sunday August 10 through Wednesday August 13, 8PM-6AM, I-40 will be reduced to one lane in both directions, from MM 135 to MM 148, in order to perform milling and paving operations.  Troopers will be utilized.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, (excluding Sunday), 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations, and installation of concrete barrier rail.

 

MACON AND SMITH COUNTIES, Resurfacing on SR 80 from SR 85 to SR 262 / SR 56

  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, (excluding weekends), 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 80 for milling and guardrail installation.

 

MARSHALL AND MAURY COUNTIES, Bridge Repair on US 431 (SR 106) over the Duck River

  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, 9AM-3PM, All lanes of US 431 (SR 106) over the Duck River along the Marshall-Maury county line will be closed in order to set bridge beams. Traffic will be detoured thru SR 272.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from the Marshall County Line to North of SR 99

  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound for paving operations.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Local Programs Project

  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, 8AM-4PM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 from Cayer Lane to Raider Lane in order to install barrier rail.
  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, 8AM-4PM, There will be alternating lane closures on James Campbell Blvd at Trotwood Avenue in order to perform intersection improvements.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96, Broad Street, Ridgely Road, and College Street for underground utility crossings.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 231 (SR 10) from SR 96 to SR 268 (W Thompson Lane)

  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on US 231 (SR 10) in order to complete paving operations.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

SUMNER AND WILSON COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Wednesday August 6 and Thursday August 7, 2PM, There will be lane closures for intermittent, temporary stoppage of traffic (approximately 15 minutes each) for blasting the existing piers from the water.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Grading, Drainage and Paving on I-65 Ramps to SR 253 (Concord Rd)

  • From now through December 2014, I-65 northbound will be reduced from 4 lanes to 3 lanes near Concord Road for ramp repairs. A lane shift will also be in place on the northbound and southbound off-ramps.
  • Wednesday August 6 through Tuesday August 12, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on Concord Road between Lipscomb Drive and MacArthur Drive in order to prepare for planned lane shifts at the intersection of Lipscomb Drive.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench and bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Installation of Cable Barrier on I-40 E from SR 109 to SR 840

  • Monday August 11 through Thursday August 14, 8PM-6AM, There will be a single lane closure on I-40 eastbound to install cable barrier. One lane will remain open.

 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, and Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties

 

  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

 

Davidson County

  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, (excluding weekends), 8PM-5AM, There will be rolling roadblocks using an attenuator truck along the inside lanes of I-24, I-65, and I-40 to spray herbicide along the median barrier wall.
  • Thursday August 7 through Wednesday August 13, 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations for drain cleaning operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Wednesday August 6, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on Vietnam Veterans Blvd westbound at Mansker Creek in order to mill and pave the roadway.  One lane will remain open at all times.
  • Thursday August 7, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on Ellington Parkway, in both directions, at Cleveland Street in order to mill and pave the roadway.  One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.

 

Giles County

  • Wednesday, August 13 through Thursday, August 14, 8AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound, between MM 12.5 and MM 14.0, in order to mow slopes in the median and remove excess vegetation. Inside lanes will be closed while mowing. One lane will remain open each direction.

 

Rutherford County

  • Thursday August 7, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 96, between Veterans Pkwy and SR 102 (Almaville Road) to replace a 24” cross drain.  One lane will be open at all times. Flaggers will be utilized. Due to narrow clearance, message boards will be in place to warn truck traffic to seek alternate routes.
  • Friday August 8, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 269 (Walnut Grove Road) in Christiana, between US 231S (SR 10) and Stones River Lane to replace a 24” cross drain.  One lane will be open at all times. Flaggers will be utilized. (weather dependent)

 

Wilson County

  • Monday, August 11, through Wednesday, August 13; 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 109 southbound, approximately one mile south of the Cumberland River Bridge, for paving. Traffic will be flagged.

Davidson County

  • Thursday August 7 through Friday September 5, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder work and lane closures on SR 112 (Clarksville Pike), from Westport Drive to Creasy Drive, to allow proposed work by NES for oiling and switch maintenance.
  • From now through Friday October 31, 7PM–6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Road) from Menzler Lane to Fesslers Lane in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to open cut and install a 6” gas main.
