BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

  • From now through Saturday October 11, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

 

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

  • From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

 

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on SR 251 (River Road) over Sam’s Creek

  • Tuesday September 2 and Wednesday September 3, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be stopped in both directions on SR 251 over Sam’s Creek, twice per each day, lasting approximately 15 minutes or less, in order to set bridge beams.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-65 over CSX Railroad, Rivergate Pkwy, Long Hollow Pike, E Cedar Street, & Mansker Creek

  • Tuesday September 2 and Wednesday September 3, 8PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 southbound between MM 96 and MM 99 so that expansion joint repairs and possible guardrail repairs may be done.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 254 (Old Hickory Boulevard) over Otter Creek

  • Thursday August 28 through Wednesday September 3, 9AM-3PM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be a lane closure on SR 254 in order to perform bridge work.  Flaggers will be utilized.

 

Look Ahead:

  • Friday September 12, 8PM through Monday September 15, 6AM, Old Hickory Boulevard will be closed between Chickering Road and Hillsboro Road in order to replace the bridge over Otter Creek.  Detours will be in place.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Installation of Interchange Lighting on SR 386 (Vietnam Veterans Blvd) at the Junction of Conference Drive

  • Wednesday August 27 through Wednesday December 31, 7AM-4PM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be shoulder closures on SR 386 (Vietnam Veterans Blvd) at Conference Drive for installation of lighting.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Thursday August 28 through Wednesday September 3, 8AM-4PM (excluding holiday weekend), The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Drive in order to install sidewalks.

 

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from the Benton County Line to the Hickman County Line, Including Bridge Repair

  • Thursday August 28 and Tuesday September 2 through Wednesday September 3, 8PM-6AM, I-40 will be reduced to one lane in both directions, from MM 135 to MM148, in order to perform paving operations and installation of bridge joints.  Troopers will be utilized.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

  • Thursday August 28 through Wednesday September 3, 7AM-5PM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations and installation of concrete barrier rail.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 50 from SR 99/James Campbell Blvd to the TS Railroad

  • Thursday August 28 through Wednesday September 3, 8PM-6AM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 50 for concrete work and milling operations.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

  • Thursday August 28 through Wednesday September 3, 8PM-6AM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96, Broad Street, Ridgely Road, and College Street for underground utility crossings.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Grading, Drainage and Paving on I-65 Ramps to SR 253 (Concord Rd)

  • Wednesday August 27 or Thursday August 28, 8PM-6AM (weather permitting), There will be a lane closure on SR 253 (Concord Road), between MacArthur Drive and Lipscomb Drive, to shift traffic for the next phase of construction.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

  • Thursday August 28 through Wednesday September 3, 9AM-3PM (excluding holiday weekend), Traffic will be flagged during trench & bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Thursday August 28 through Wednesday September 3, 8PM-5AM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be a lane closure on I-65 in both directions between MM 60.5 and MM 63 for milling and paving.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Pavement Marking on Various State Routes

  • Tuesday September 2 or Wednesday September 3, 8PM-5AM (weather permitting), There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 eastbound beginning at MM 232 so that pavement marking work may be done.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Installation of Cable Barrier on I-40 E from SR 109 to SR 840

  • Thursday August 28, 11PM-6AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 eastbound for the installation of cable barrier. One lane will remain open.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 70 (SR 24) from Hartman Drive to Reed Street

  • Thursday August 28 through Wednesday September 3, 8PM-6AM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 24 for milling and paving.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 265 (Central Pike) from Davidson County Line to SR 171 (Mt Juliet Road)

  • Thursday August 28 through Wednesday September 3, 8:30PM-6AM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 265 for milling and paving operations.

 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday August 28 through Wednesday September 3, 9AM-3PM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Thursday August 28 through Wednesday September 3, 8PM-5AM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

  • Saturday September 6, 2AM-11PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 840 westbound at MM 60.6 to repair bridge ends.

  • Thursday August 28 through Wednesday September 3, 9AM-3PM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, and Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties

 

  • Thursday August 28 through Wednesday September 3, 9AM-3PM (excluding holiday weekend), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

 

Davidson County

  • Thursday August 28, 8PM-5AM and Tuesday September 2 through Wednesday September 3, 8PM-5AM, There will be rolling roadblocks using an attenuator truck along the inside lanes of I-24, I-65, and I-40 in Davidson County to spray herbicide along the median barrier wall.
  • Thursday August 28, 8PM-5AM and Tuesday September 2 through Wednesday September 3, 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for drain cleaning operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Tuesday September 2, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures at the end of the SR 155 (White Bridge Road) on-ramp to I-40 eastbound for pavement repair.  One lane on the ramp will remain open at all times.

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

Davidson County

  • Tuesday September 2 through Thursday September 4, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 11 southbound at (620 N 1st Street), in order to open-cut 6’x4’ to renew ¾” gas line.
  • From now through Friday September 5, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures and shoulder work on SR 112 (Clarksville Pike), from Westport Drive to Creasy Drive, in order for NES to perform oiling and switch maintenance.
  • From now through Friday October 31, 7PM–6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Road), from Menzler Lane to Fesslers Lane, in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to open cut and install a 6” gas main.
