BEDFORD COUNTY, Reconstruction of US 231 (SR 10)

  • From now through Saturday October 11, Traffic will be reduced from four (4) to two (2) lanes on US 231 (SR 10) in Shelbyville due to utility and grading operations. One lane will remain open in each direction with an added turning lane.

 

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

  • From now through July 2016, Anderson Road at the I-40 overpass will be closed. Detours are in place.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-65 over CSX Railroad, Rivergate Pkwy, Long Hollow Pike, E Cedar Street, & Mansker Creek

  • Thursday August 21 and Sunday August 24 through Wednesday August 27, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 southbound, between MM 96 and MM 99, at the Mansker Creek, E Cedar Street, and Long Hollow Pike bridges in order to pave the roadway and install guardrail.
  • Friday August 22, 8PM through Monday August 25, 6AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 northbound at MM 96 (Rivergate Pkwy) in order to perform bridge repairs.  Two lanes will remain open.  

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 254 (Old Hickory Boulevard) over Otter Creek

  • Thursday August 21 through Wednesday August 27, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekend), There will be a lane closure on SR 254 in order to perform bridge work.  Flaggers will be utilized.

 

Look Ahead:

  • Friday September 12, 8PM through Monday September 15, 6AM, Old Hickory Boulevard will be closed between Chickering Road and Hillsboro Road in order to replace the bridge over Otter Creek.  Detours will be in place.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday August 21 through Wednesday August 27, 9AM–3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on I-24 (approximately between MM 58 and Elam Road) and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for pull box installation and conduit, repairs and guardrail installation. 
  • Thursday August 21 through Wednesday August 27, 8PM–5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 (approximately between MM 58 and Elam Road) and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for guardrail installation.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Thursday August 21 through Wednesday August 27, 8AM-4PM, The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Drive in order to install sidewalks.

 

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from the Benton County Line to the Hickman County Line, Including Bridge Repair

  • Thursday August 21 through Wednesday August 27, 8PM-6AM, (including weekend), I-40 will be reduced to one lane in both directions, from MM 135 to MM 148, in order to perform milling and paving operations.  Troopers will be utilized.
  • Friday August 22, 8PM through Monday August 25, 6AM, I-40 will be reduced to one lane in both directions, from MM 140 to MM 142, in order to perform bridge repairs.

 

MACON COUNTY, Reconstruction of SR 10 from south of Goose Creek to SR 52

  • Thursday August 21 through Wednesday August 27, (excluding Sunday), 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 10 for clearing and grubbing operations, blasting operations and installation of concrete barrier rail.

 

MACON AND SMITH COUNTIES, Resurfacing on SR 80 from SR 85 to SR 262 / SR 56

  • Thursday August 21 through Wednesday August 27, (excluding weekends), 7AM-5PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 80 for milling and guardrail installation.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 50 from SR 99/James Campbell Blvd to the TS Railroad

  • Thursday August 21 through Wednesday August 27, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 50 for concrete work and milling operations.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 43 (SR 6) from North of SR 243 Connector to North of SR 50

  • Thursday August 21 through Wednesday August 27, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 6 for milling operations.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

  • Thursday August 21 through Wednesday August 27, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96, Broad Street, Ridgely Road, and College Street for underground utility crossings.

 

SUMNER AND WILSON COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday August 21, 7PM to 5AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 109 near Bay Watch Place in order to cut loops into the roadway.
  • Saturday August 23 and Sunday August 24, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures for intermittent, temporary stoppage of traffic (approximately 15 minutes each) for off-loading and setting of pre-cast concrete beams.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Grading, Drainage and Paving on I-65 Ramps to SR 253 (Concord Rd)

  • From now through December 2014, I-65 Northbound will be reduced from 4 lanes to 3 lanes near Concord Road
  • Wednesday August 20, 9PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on the northbound off-ramp at Concord Road and I-65 in order to shift traffic.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

  • Thursday August 21 through Wednesday August 27, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench and bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Thursday August 21 through Wednesday August 27, 1PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 in both directions at MM 61.5 for blasting.
  • Sunday August 24 through Wednesday August 27, 8PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-65 in both directions, between MM 60.5 and MM 63, for milling and paving and removal of barrier rail.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Installation of Cable Barrier on I-40 E from SR 109 to SR 840

  • Thursday August 21 through Sunday August 27, 8PM-6AM, The left lane of I-40 eastbound will be closed in order to install cable barrier. One lane will remain open.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 70 (SR 24) from Hartman Drive to Reed Street

  • Thursday August 21 and Sunday August 24 through Wednesday August 27, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on US 70 (SR 24) for milling and utility casting adjustments.

 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday August 21 through Wednesday August 27, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Thursday August 21 through Wednesday August 27, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

  • Thursday August 21 through Wednesday August 27, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, and Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties

 

  • Thursday August 21 through Wednesday August 27, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

 

Davidson County

  • Thursday August 21 through Wednesday August 27, (excluding weekends), 8PM-5AM, There will be rolling roadblocks using an attenuator truck along the inside lanes of I-24, I-65, and I-40 to spray herbicide along the median barrier wall.
  • Thursday August 21 through Wednesday August 27, 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations for drain cleaning operations. This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Tuesday August 26, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on I-65 in both directions, near Rosa Parks Blvd (MM 85.0) and over the Cumberland River, in order to take concrete samples on the bridge.  One lane will remain open in each direction at all times.
  • Wednesday August 27, 8PM-12PM, There will be lane closures on I-40 westbound at MM 208, near I-65 split and over the railroad tracks, in order to take concrete samples on the bridge. One lane will remain open at all times.

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

Davidson County

  • From now through Friday September 5, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder work and temporary lane closures on SR 112 (Clarksville Pike), from Westport Drive to Creasy Drive, in order for NES to perform oiling and switch maintenance.
  • From now through Friday October 31, 7PM–6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Road), from Menzler Lane to Fesslers Lane, in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to open cut and install a 6” gas main.

Robertson County

  • Thursday August 21, 9AM-3PM, There will be a rolling lane closure on SR 11, from MM 8.0 to MM 12.0, in order to obtain cores from the inside shoulder.

 

Sumner County

  • Thursday August 21, 8PM-12 Midnight , There will be a rolling lane closure on I-65 northbound and southbound, from MM 112 to MM 121.47 (Tennessee-Kentucky state line), in order to obtain cores from the inside shoulder.
