BEDFORD COUNTY, Grading, Draining, and Paving on US 231 (SR 10) from US 41A (SR 16) to North of Rolling Road

  • Monday July 7, 9AM-3PM, There will be temporary lane closures due to survey crews locating and recording sanitary sewer manhole locations and elevations. One lane will remain open in each direction. Flaggers will be utilized.

 

CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Replacement on I-40 over the Harpeth River

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 8PM-6AM, I-40 will be reduced to one lane in both directions from MM 189 to MM 191 in order to perform milling & paving operations to stabilize shoulders. Troopers will be utilized.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-65 over CSX Railroad, Rivergate Pkwy, Long Hollow Pike, E Cedar Street, & Mansker Creek

  • Monday July 7 and Tuesday July 9, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures between MM 96 and MM 99 on the inside lanes of I-65 southbound for striping.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Road

  • Wednesday July 2, 9PM-5AM, There will be temporary lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound so that cleaning of inside and outside shoulders may be done.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 254 (Old Hickory Boulevard) over Otter Creek

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 9AM-3PM, There will a lane closure on SR 254 in order to perform bridge work.  Flaggers will be utilized.
  • Monday July 7, 8PM-8AM, There will be a lane closure on SR 254 so that water line work may be done.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 31W (Dickerson Road) from Dry Creek Road to the CSX Railroad

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on US 31W from Dry Creek Road to the CSX Railroad in order to install guardrail and shoulder stone.

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for road boring and conduit installation and DMS foundation work.
  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 840 eastbound (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for road boring and conduit installation.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 8AM-4PM, The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Drive in order to install sidewalks.

 

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from the Benton County Line to the Hickman County Line, Including Bridge Repair

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 8PM-6AM, I-40 will be reduced to one lane in both directions from MM 135 to MM 148 in order to perform milling and paving operations. Troopers will be utilized.

 

MACON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 52 from Old Highway 52 to Brattontown Circle

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 7AM-4PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 52, eastbound and westbound, for milling operations.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from the Marshall County Line to North of SR 99

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65, northbound and southbound, for paving operations.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Local Programs Project

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 8AM-4PM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 from Cayer Lane to Raider Lane in order to install barrier rail.
  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 8AM-4PM, There will be alternating lane closures on James Campbell Blvd. at Trotwood Avenue in order to perform intersection improvements.

 

BEDFORD/RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from West of SR 840 to East of SR 840 and from East of Epps Mill Road to the Coffee County Line

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24, eastbound and westbound, between Exit 89 and Exit 97, in order to pave the roadway.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd/Old Fort Pkwy)

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96, Broad Street, Ridgely Road, and College Street for installation of underground utility crossings.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 231 (SR 10) from SR 96 to SR 268 (W Thompson Lane)

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on US 231 (SR 10) in order to complete cold planning, signalization and paving operations.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

SUMNER COUNTY, Resurfacing SR 6 (US 31E) from SR 258 (New Shackle Island Road) to Saundersville Road

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 6, eastbound and westbound, in order to install pavement markings.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd) from Sunset Road to Nolensville Road

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench & bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.

 

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing I-40 from East of SR 26 (US 70) to the Smith County Line

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures eastbound and westbound on I-40 for milling and paving operations.

 

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40, eastbound and westbound, in order to install permanent pavement markings.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as-needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

**LOOK AHEAD**Friday July 11, 8PM through Monday July 14, 6AM, There will be alternating lane shifts at the on-ramp of Cool Springs Blvd. and I-65 and at the on-ramps from 840 westbound to I-65 northbound and southbound to replace concrete.  Traffic will be maintained.

Williamson County

  • Tuesday July 8, 9:30 PM through Wednesday July 9, 5AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 in both directions at the Harpeth River and SR 106 for bridge inspection. One lane will remain open.

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as-needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, and Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, and Humphreys Counties

 

  • Monday July 7 through Wednesday July 9, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as-needed basis:

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

Davidson County

  • From now through Thursday July 31, 7PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Road) from Menzler Lane to Fesslers Lane in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to open cut and install a 6” gas main.
  • Monday July 7 through Friday, July 11, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) at 32nd Street in the eastbound outside lane in the City of Lakewood in order for Metro Water & Sewer to installing a new sewer main and manhole.
  • Monday July 7 through Thursday July 10, 7PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 155 (White Bridge Road) near the entrance to Nashville State Community College in order for Star Construction to mill & resurface the roadway.
  • Monday July 7 through Thursday July 31, 7PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 106 (Hillsboro Pike) in the Green Hills area in order for Jarrett Builders to install an 8” water main, 6” and 8” sewer mains, two public fire hydrants, and storm drainage.

 

Miscellaneous

City of Lebanon

  • From now through Thursday July 3 at 4 pm, SR 24 will be closed near Castle Heights Avenue for railroad repairs. Detours will be used. Traffic control will be done by City of Lebanon.
