CARROLL COUNTY, SR-105:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Gibson County line to State Route 190.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over an overflow and the Big Sandy River.  Wednesday July 23 through Wednesday July 30:  A signal system is being utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 10’ lane restriction and there is a 40’ length restriction for vehicles during construction.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over the Rutherford Fork Obion River and overflows.  Wednesday July 23 through Wednesday July 30:  A signal system is being utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 9.5’ lane restriction.

CROCKETT/GIBSON COUNTY, SR-188:  Construction of five (5) concrete box beam bridges on State Route 188 at the Crockett/Gibson County line.  The roadway is OPEN with possible lane closure in both directions daily.

CROCKETT SR-189:  Beginning Thursday July 24: Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from State Route 88 to US-412/State Route 20.  Flagger will be present.

DECATUR COUNTY, SR-20 (US-412):  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Wilkinstown Road/Bear Creek Road to State Route 69.

DYER COUNTY, I-155Bridge repair (2) over overflow right & left.  Wednesday July 23 through Wednesday July 30:  There will be lane closures in both directions on I-155, for installation of concrete barrier rail.  There will also be an 11’ width restriction in both directions.

DYER COUNTY, SR-104:  Bridge Repair on State Route 104 over Lewis Creek Canal.  A signal system will be utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 10’ 9” lane restriction.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40, Interchange at SR 222:  Wednesday July 23 through Wednesday July 30:  The east and westbound shoulders at Exit 42 are CLOSED.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-59:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from State Route 194 to State Route 76.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40, SHELBY COUNTY, (SR-385) Future I-269:  Construction of I-269 from the interchange with State Route 385 to the Mississippi State line. State Route 385 is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction.  The project intersects with US 72 (State Route 86) in the area of the Mann Road intersection.  State Route 86 is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction in the median. Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zones and also crossing the roadways.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-104:  A widening project from west of State Route 188 to Milligan Lane and Gumwoods Road will result in temporary lane closures each day.  All traffic is traveling on the westbound lanes.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-18:  Construction of a concrete box beam bridge and paving on State Route 18 over Cypress Creek.  Wednesday July 23 through Wednesday July 30:  There will be lane closures north and southbound with a temporary signal in place.  One lane will remain open, in each direction.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-57:  Miscellaneous safety improvements at the intersection of State Route 57 & State Route 142, will result in temporary lane closures each day.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction for the West Tennessee Solar Farm and Welcome Center, including removal of Albright Road bridge.  Wednesday July 23 through Wednesday July 30:  There are no scheduled closures.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction at the intersection of State Route 76 & I-40 at the weigh station Wednesday July 23 through Wednesday July 30:  There are no scheduled closures.

HAYWOOD COUNTY, (SR-1, SR-19, SR-54, SR-76, SR-87, SR-179, SR-222, & SR-369):
Thursday July 24 through Wednesday July 30, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: 
There will be possible “rolling” lane closures on various State Routes, for retracing of painted pavement markings.

HENDERSON COUNTY,  I-40:  Resurfacing from west of State Route 22 to west of State Route 114 will result in temporary lane closures each day.
Sunday July 27 through Thursday July 30, 7:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be lane closures eastbound & westbound I-40 between mile marker 108.0-116.0, for installation of miscellaneous safety improvements.  One lane will remain open.  Weather Permitting.

HENDERSON COUNTY, (SR-104, SR-200, SR-22, SR-114 & SR-104):
Thursday July 24 through Wednesday July 30, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: 
There will be temporary lane closures on various State Routes, for installation of miscellaneous safety improvements.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-22:  A widening project on State Route 22, south of State Route 21 in Tiptonville to existing State Route 22 (Cates Landing Rd.).  There are lane shifts throughout the project.  State Route 22 is closed from intersection of State Route 212 and Vaughn Road North to Cates Landing Road. Detour 3.5 miles on Vaughn Road to State Route 22 Cates Landing Road.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-19:  Miscellaneous safety improvements from east of Eastland Avenue log mile 21.98 to the Haywood County line log mile 26.14, will result in temporary lane closures each day.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-208:  A widening project on State Route 208 (State Route 209/Cleveland Street) beginning at State Route 209 (Washington Street) and extending to State Route 208 at US-51/State Route 3 in Ripley.  There will be temporary lane closures daily.

MADISON COUNTY, US-70 (SR-1):  A bridge repair project over Gilmers Creek.  There will be lane closures in both the eastbound and westbound directions on State Route 1, with a temporary signal, for duration of the project.  Traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 11’ lane restriction.  Signal was activated January 22, 2014.
Beginning March 14, 2014, traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 11’ 3” lane restriction.

MADISON COUNTY, US-70 (SR-1):  A bridge repair project over Royal Street and West Tennessee Railroad. The outside lanes will be closed, reducing traffic down to 2-12 foot lanes, 1 eastbound and 1 westbound, also workers will be present under the bridge, repairing cracks.  Motorists should use caution while traveling through construction zone.

MADISON COUNTY, SR-5:  A bridge repair project over Middle Fork Forked Deer River.  There will be workers under the bridge making repairs.  Motorists should use caution while traveling through construction zone.

MADISON COUNTY, (SR-152, SR-186, SR-43, SR-5, SR-20, SR-1, SR-223 & SR-198):
Monday July 24 through Wednesday July 30, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: 
There will be temporary lane closures on various State Routes, for installation of miscellaneous safety improvements.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 8:
Wednesday July 23 through Tuesday July 29: 
The left shoulder of the exit ramp for westbound Interstate 40 to Second Street, will be closed for about six months. Exit ramp from Westbound I-40 to Riverside Drive has been narrowed to 14 feet and “wide loads” are restricted from using this. Entrance ramp from Riverside Drive to I-40 Eastbound has been narrowed to 12 feet and “wide loads” are restricted from using this. 

Beginning Monday, July 28, 9:00 a. m.:  EXIT 1 – which is the first eastbound exit to Riverside Drive and Front Street will be CLOSED for approximately 20 days.  A detour route will be posted.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 9:
Wednesday July 23
through Wednesday July 30:  Traffic will remain in the current configuration until mid-September 2014.  Traffic on the bridge is configured as follows: work zone on the north side of the bridge, 2 lanes westbound traffic in the center of the bridge and 2 lanes eastbound traffic on south side of the bridge.  Two lanes will remain open in each direction.  Lane closures on the I-40 bridge will be required until approximately December 15, 2014.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 at Canada Road
Monday July 21 through Saturday July 26, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: 
There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 eastbound & westbound for placement of portable barrier rail and installation of erosion control items. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 from west of Davies Plantation Road LM-22.98 to the Fayette County line log mile 30.60:
Sunday July 27 through Saturday August 2, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: 
There will be temporary lane closure eastbound and westbound between US-64/Exit 18 and the Shelby/Fayette County line (MM 19.0 to MM 28.0), for paving operations and installation of pavement markings.  THP/HELP Truck will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40
Saturday July 26, 9:00 a. m.-2:00 p. m.: 
There will be a temporary lane closure on I-40 westbound @ the Wolf River Bridge mile marker 7.00, for expansion joint repair.  HELP Truck will assist with traffic control. Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 North of SR-385 to North of Walnut Grove Rd.:  Wednesday July 23 through Wednesday July 30A widening project on I-240 will cause temporary lane closures. Traffic has been moved to temporary ramps at the Walnut Grove interchange.

Saturday July 26, 6:00 a. m.-5:00 p. m.:  The exit ramp from eastbound I-240 to westbound Poplar (Ramp 15F) and the entrance ramp from westbound Poplar to eastbound I-240 (Ramp 15E), will be CLOSED.  These ramps will not be closed at the same time to minimize the impact to traffic.

LOOK AHEAD:  Saturday August 2, 6:00 a. m.-5:00 p. m.:  One right lane of eastbound I-240 from mile marker 13.5 to mile marker 15.0, will be CLOSED, for the removal of portable barrier along right shoulder of mainline I-240.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements Wednesday July 23 through Wednesday July 30:  Modification of the I-40/I-240 interchange.
Beginning Monday February 10:  The right lane of eastbound Summer Avenue was CLOSED, beginning just west of the existing I-240 northbound bridge over Summer Avenue, for the installation of portable barrier rail to allow for construction of Abutment 1/Wall 12.  This will be a permanent lane closure.

Beginning Saturday March 22:  The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Eastbound was CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange for bridge construction.  The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound was CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange for bridge construction.  Westbound Sam Cooper Boulevard traffic should utilize the inside lane of I-40.

Monday July 21 through Friday July 25, 6:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.:  Close the right lane of Summer Avenue eastbound, beginning east end of Existing Wolf River Bridge, for the installation of pipe and driveway access to Bridge 6 from Summer Avenue.

Saturday July 26 & Sunday July 27, 6:30 a. m. -5:30p. m.:  Sam Cooper Blvd. traffic will shift to the right or outside lane to allow work to begin on the inside lane.  The shift will occur just west of the I-40 Little Rock Exit.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55:  The I-55 Welcome Center is CLOSED due to construction of a new facility.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55:  A bridge repair project over Cane Creek log mile 6.47.
Friday July 25, 8:00 p. m. through Monday July 28, 5:00 p. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures southbound on I-55, for expansion joint repairs.  Two lanes will be CLOSED.  One lane will remain open.  THP/HELP Truck will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

LOOK AHEAD:  Friday August 1, 8:00 p. m. through Monday August 04, 5:00 p. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures northbound on I-55, for expansion joint repairs.  Two lanes will be CLOSED.  One lane will remain open.  THP/HELP Truck will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

LOOK AHEAD:  Friday August 8, 8:00 p. m. through Monday August 11, 5:00 p. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures northbound on I-55, for expansion joint repairs.  Two lanes will be CLOSED.  One lane will remain open.  THP/HELP Truck will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (US-61):  A replacement of the bridge over Illinois Central Railroad from South Parkway to McLemore Avenue.  Roadway is CLOSED, a detour route is posted.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72):  Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction.  South Rowlett Street is closed to through traffic in the vicinity of the State Route 86 bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad.  Motorists may use Wilson Street to Harris Street as a detour.

SHELBY COUNTY, Grade, drain, pave SR-177 (Germantown Rd); Crestridge Rd to Stout Rd:
Wednesday July 23
through Wednesday July 30:  There will be intermittent lane closures on State Route 177 (Germantown Road), between Germantown City Limits (log mile 1.65) to Stout Road (log mile 2.40).  The closures will be intermittent and for as short a time as possible.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-205:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from US-64 (State Route 15) to I-40.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385:  Bridge Repair (2) on State Route 385 over Loosahatchie River log mile 9.58 left & right.  Traffic will be reduced to one northbound and one southbound lane; a twelve (12’) lane will be maintained in each direction.  Speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Retracing of Pavement Marking with Paint:  Wednesday July 23 through Wednesday July 30:  There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT REGION 4, Relensing of Snowplowable Markers: Wednesday July 23 through Wednesday July 30:  There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail Repair  Monday July 28 through Friday August 01, 8:00 p. m. - 6:00 a. m.:  There will be night time lane closures at the following locations, to repair damaged guardrail.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Fayette County, westbound (MM 30.5 to MM 31.5.0), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-86, Fayette County, eastbound (MM 0.0 to MM 1.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound (MM 2.0 to MM 10.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-240, Shelby County, northbound & southbound (MM 18.0 to MM 23.0), one lane will remain open.  Also, this includes  partial ramp closures @ the I-240 westbound Exit ramp to Millbranch, I-240 westbound Ramp from Lamar (SR-4).
  • I-55, Shelby County, northbound & southbound (MM 2.0 to MM 6.5), one lane will remain open.  Also, this will include a partial ramp closure @ the I-55 northbound ramp to I-240 eastbound.
  • I-55, Shelby County, northbound (MM 12.0 to MM 12.5), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-4/Lamar Avenue, Shelby County, westbound (MM 1.0 to MM 2.0), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-14, Shelby County, northbound (7.0 to MM 8.0), one lane will remain open.
  • SR-300, Shelby County, (MM 0.0 to MM 1.0), one lane will remain open.  Also, this will include a partial lane closure of the I-40 eastbound Ramp to SR-300 westbound (Exit 2A).

TDOT MAINTENANCE:
Wednesday July 23
through Wednesday July 30, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.:  There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.  Weather Permitting.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-22:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the ramp from State Route 431 to north of the ramp from State Route 43.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-118:  Bridge deck repair and bridge epoxy overlay over overflow, Cypress Creek, & overflow between log mile 7.65 and 8.07

LOOK AHEAD:  Beginning Friday August 01 through Monday September 01:  There will be temporary lane closures southbound and northbound where it crosses over three bridges on State Route118 over Overflow, Cypress Creek & Overflow, between log mile 7.65 and 8.07, with a temporary signal.  Traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 12’ lane restriction.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-217:  Resurfacing work will cause intermittent lane closures in both directions daily, from State Route 22 to State Route 89.
