CARROLL COUNTY, SR-105:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the Gibson County line to State Route 190.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over an overflow and the Big Sandy River.  Wednesday July 9 through Wednesday July 16:  A signal system is being utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 10’ lane restriction.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over the Rutherford Fork Obion River and overflows.  Wednesday July 9 through Wednesday July 16:  A signal system is being utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 9.5’ lane restriction.

CROCKETT/GIBSON COUNTY, SR-188:  Construction of five (5) concrete box beam bridges on State Route 188 at the Crockett/Gibson County line.  The roadway is CLOSED with a detour route posted.

DECATUR COUNTY, SR-20 (US-412):  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Wilkinstown Road/Bear Creek Road to State Route 69.

DECATUR COUNTY, SR-202:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from State Route 69 to State Route 114.

DYER COUNTY, I-155Bridge repair (2) over overflow right & left. 
Wednesday July 9 through Wednesday July 16:  There will be lane closures in both directions on I-155, for installation of concrete barrier rail.  There will also be an 11’ width restriction in both directions.

DYER COUNTY, SR-104:  Bridge Repair on State Route 104 over Lewis Creek Canal.  A signal system will be utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 10’ 9” lane restriction.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40, Interchange at SR 222:  Wednesday July 9 through Wednesday July 16:  The east and westbound shoulders at Exit 42 are CLOSED.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-59:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from State Route 194 to State Route 76.

FAYETTE and SHELBY COUNTY, (SR-385) Future I-269:  Construction of I-269 from the interchange with State Route 385 to the Mississippi State line.  The project intersects with US 72 (State Route 86) in the area of the Mann Road intersection.  State Route 86 is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction in the median.  Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zone and also crossing the roadway.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-104:  A widening project from west of State Route 188 to Milligan Lane and Gumwoods Road will result in temporary lane closures each day.  All traffic is traveling on the westbound lanes.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-18:  Construction of a concrete box beam bridge and paving on State Route 18 over Cypress Creek.  Wednesday July 9 through Wednesday July 16:  There will be lane closures north and southbound with a temporary signal in place.  One lane will remain open, in each direction.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-57:  Miscellaneous safety improvements at the intersection of State Route 57 & State Route 142 will result in temporary lane closures each day.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction for the West Tennessee Solar Farm and Welcome Center, including removal of Albright Road bridge.  Wednesday July 9 through Wednesday July 16:  There are no scheduled closures.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction at the intersection of State Route 76 & I-40 at the weigh station Wednesday July 9 through Wednesday July 16:  There are no scheduled closures.

HAYWOOD COUNTY, SR-180:  Beginning Tuesday July 15:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from State Route 19 to the Lauderdale County line.

HENDERSON COUNTY,  I-40:  Resurfacing from west of State Route 22 to west of State Route 114 will result in temporary lane closures each day.

Sunday July 13 through Thursday July 17, 7:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be lane closures eastbound & westbound I-40 between mile markers 108.0-116.0, for installation of guardrail.  One lane will remain open.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

HENDERSON COUNTY, (SR-104, SR-200, SR-22, SR-114 & SR-104):
Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: 
There will be temporary lane closures on various State Routes, for installation of miscellaneous safety improvements.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-22:  A widening project on State Route 22, south of State Route 21 in Tiptonville to existing State Route 22 (Cates Landing Rd.).  There are lane shifts throughout the project.  State Route 22 is closed from intersection of State Route 212 and Vaughn Road North to Cates Landing Road. Detour 3.5 miles on Vaughn Road to State Route 22 Cates Landing Road.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, (SR-19, SR-87, SR-88, SR-207, SR-208, SR-209, SR-210 & SR-371):
Thursday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: 
There will be possible “rolling” lane closures on various State Routes, for retracing of painted pavement markings.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-19:  Miscellaneous safety improvements from east of Eastland Avenue to the Haywood County line will result in temporary lane closures each day.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-208:  A widening project on State Route 208 (State Route 209/Cleveland Street) beginning at State Route 209 (Washington Street) and extending to State Route 208 at US-51/State Route 3 in Ripley.  There will be temporary lane closures daily.

MADISON COUNTY, US-70 (SR-1):  A bridge repair project over Gilmers Creek.
Wednesday July 9 through Wednesday July 16:  There will be lane closures in both the eastbound and westbound directions on State Route 1, with a temporary signal, for duration of the project.  Traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 11’ lane restriction.  Signal was activated January 22, 2014.
March 14, 2014 traffic was reduced to one lane with a 11’ 3” lane restriction.

MADISON COUNTY, US-70 (SR-1):  A bridge repair project over Royal Street and West Tennessee Railroad. Workers will be present under the bridge, repairing cracks.  When construction starts on phase 1, the outside lanes will be closed, reducing traffic down to 2-12 foot lanes, 1 eastbound and 1 westbound. Phase 2 will consist of closing the 2 inside lanes and placing traffic on the outside 12 foot lanes. Motorists should use caution while traveling through construction zone

MADISON COUNTY, SR-5:  A bridge repair project over Middle Fork Forked Deer River.  Motorists should use caution while traveling through construction zone.

MADISON COUNTY, (SR-152, SR-186, SR-43, SR-5, SR-20, SR-1, SR-223 & SR-198):
Monday July 10 through Wednesday July 16, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: 
There will be temporary lane closures on various State Routes, for installation of miscellaneous safety improvements.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 8:
Wednesday July 9
through Wednesday July 16:  The left inside shoulder of the exit ramp for westbound Interstate 40 to Second Street, will be closed for about six months.  The exit ramp from Westbound I-40 to Riverside Drive has been narrowed to 14 feet and “wide loads” are restricted from using this.  The right shoulder of the entrance ramp from Riverside Drive to I-40 Eastbound has been narrowed to 12 feet and “wide loads” are restricted from using this.

Thursday, May 15: The exit ramp from Westbound I-40 to Riverside Drive has been narrowed to 14 feet (the right shoulder and a small portion of the lane). “Wide loads” are restricted from using this. 

Tuesday May 20:  The eastbound exit ramp from I-40 Eastbound to Riverside Drive will be CLOSED for approximately three months.  This is the first exit on Eastbound I-40 after crossing the Mississippi River.  The exit to Front Street will remain open; it is only the exit to Riverside Drive that will be closed.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 9:
Wednesday July 9
through Wednesday July 16:  The inside Westbound lane and the inside Eastbound lane will remain CLOSED. Two lanes will remain open in each direction.  Lane closures on the I-40 bridge will be required until approximately December 15, 2014.

through Thursday July 17, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 eastbound & westbound for the installation of traffic control, possible paving and restriping operations, for lane shift at Canada Road/Exit 20.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 from west of Davies Plantation Road LM-22.98 to the Fayette County line log mile 30.60:
Sunday July 13 through Saturday July 19, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: 
There will be temporary lane closure eastbound and westbound between US-64/Exit 18 and the Shelby/Fayette County line (MM 19.0 to MM 28.0), for paving operations.  Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 North of SR-385 to North of Walnut Grove Rd.: Wednesday July 9 through Wednesday July 16A widening project on I-240 will cause temporary lane closures. Traffic has been moved to temporary ramps at the Walnut Grove interchange.

Saturday July 12, 6:00 a. m.-5:00 p. m.:  There will be intermittent closure of ramps 15G, 15F and 15E, to remove portable barrier rail from the ramps to open permanently.  These are the entrance/exit ramps for Poplar to eastbound I-240.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements Wednesday July 9 through Wednesday July 16:  Modification of the I-40/I-240 interchange.

Monday February 10:  The right lane of eastbound Summer Avenue was CLOSED, beginning just west of the existing I-240 northbound bridge over Summer Avenue, for the installation of portable barrier rail to allow for construction of Abutment 1/Wall 12.  This will be a permanent lane closure.

Saturday March 22:  The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Eastbound was CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange for bridge construction.  The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound was CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange for bridge construction.  Westbound Sam Cooper Boulevard traffic should utilize the inside lane of I-40.

Thursday July 10 & Friday July 11, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.:  Reduce lanes on Summer Avenue to one lane in each direction; beginning near the red light at White Station Road. Police officers will assist in traffic shifts.  Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55:  The I-55 Welcome Center is CLOSED due to construction of a new facility.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55:  A bridge repair project over Cane Creek.
Friday July 11, 8:00 p. m. through Monday July 14, 6:00 a. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures southbound on I-55, for expansion joint repair.  Two lanes will be CLOSED. One lane will remain open.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-269,  Grade, drain, construction of 3 welded steel plate girder bridges, 2 concrete Bulb-Tee beam bridges & pave on I-269 beginning at the Mississippi State Line and extending to State Route 385

Wednesday July 9 through Wednesday July 16:  State Route 385 is reduced to one lane in each direction at the proposed interchange with I-269 between State Route 57 and US-72 interchanges, for bridge work.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (US-61):  A replacement of the bridge over Illinois Central Railroad from South Parkway to McLemore Avenue.  Roadway is CLOSED, a detour route is posted.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72):  Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction.  South Rowlett Street is closed to through traffic in the vicinity of the State Route 86 bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad.  Motorists may use Wilson Street to Harris Street as a detour.

SHELBY COUNTY, Grade, drain, pave SR-177 (Germantown Rd); Crestridge Rd to Stout Rd:
Wednesday July 09
through Wednesday July 16There will be intermittent lane closures on State Route 177 (Germantown Road), between Germantown City Limits to Stout Road. The closures will be intermittent and for as short a time as possible.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385:  Bridge Repair (2) on State Route 385 over Loosahatchie River left & right.  Traffic will be reduced to one northbound and one southbound lane; a twelve (12’) lane will be maintained in each direction.  Speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Retracing of Pavement Marking with Paint:  Tuesday July 15 through Thursday July 17, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be night time lane closures, including ramps, at the following locations, for retracing of pavement markings.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Henderson County, eastbound & westbound (MM 95.0 to MM 119.0), one lane will remain open.  Ramps include Exit 108 & Exit 116.

TDOT REGION 4, Relensing of Snowplowable Markers: Wednesday July 9 through Wednesday July 16:  There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail Repair  Monday July 14 through Wednesday July 16, 8:00 p. m-6:00 a. m.:  There will be night time lane closures at the following locations, to repair damaged guardrail.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Fayette County, westbound (MM 31.0 to MM 32.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, Haywood County, eastbound (MM 58.0 to MM 59.0), one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, Madison County, eastbound & westbound (MM 86.0 to MM 94.0), one lane will remain open. Also, this includes a partial ramp closure on the I-40 westbound “On” Ramp at Exit 93.
  • I-240, Shelby County, westbound (MM 23.0 to MM 30.0), one lane will remain open.  Also, this includes a partial ramp closure on the I-240 eastbound “On” Ramp from Millbranch.
  • SR-300, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound (I-40 Interchange), one lane will remain open.  Also, this includes a partial lane closure of the I-40 eastbound Ramp to SR-300 westbound (Exit 2A).

Thursday July 10, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be nighttime lane closures at the following locations,  for concrete pavement repair.  These will not be simultaneous closures.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Shelby County, westbound (MM 4.35 to MM 2.80), one lane will remain open.
  • I-40, Shelby County, westbound & eastbound entrance ramp from State Route 300, one lane will remain open.
  • SR-3 (US-51), Shelby County, entrance ramp to State Route 300, one lane will remain open.

through Wednesday July 16, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.:  There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.  Weather Permitting.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-22:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the ramp from State Route 431 to north of the ramp from State Route 43.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-217:  Resurfacing work will cause intermittent lane closures in both directions daily, from State Route 22 to State Route 89.
