TWRA’s 65th Anniversary Subject for June’s Nature @ Noontime Program

NASHVILLE --- Don King, Information and Education Chief for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency, will present the TWRA’s June Nature @ Noontime program. He will share photos and memorabilia relating to the agency 65th anniversary. The program will be held from noon-1 p.m. on Thursday, June 5 at the TWRA Region II Ray Bell Building.

In addition, the newly completed TWRA display trailer will be on site. The walk-through exhibit features artifacts from through the years and is scheduled to be making appearances throughout the state during the next year. Also on the agenda are updates regarding the agency new television program, a 65th anniversary video, and new information about the TWRA On the Go mobile app.

Hosted by the Information and Education Division, Nature @ Noontime is held the first Thursday of each month with the exception of July. TWRA Nature @ Noontime presentations are about natural resources related topics and last about 30-45 minutes, allowing time for discussion during the allotted lunch hour.
