DAVIDSON COUNTY, Emergency Slide Repair, SR 100 near Natchez Trace Pkwy

  • Traffic will be reduced to one lane at LM 2.1 in both directions on SR 100. A temporary traffic signal is installed.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, Including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson Street under I-40 in order to paint the bridge.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on US 31W (Dickerson Rd.) from Dry Creek Road to the CSX Railroad

  • Sunday May 11 through Wednesday May 14, 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on US 31W from Dry Creek Road to the CSX Railroad in order to pave the roadway. 

 

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday May 8 through Tuesday May 13, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for road boring and conduit installation and DMS foundation work.
  • Thursday May 8 through Tuesday May 13, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound and SR 840 (approximately between MM 48 and MM 57) for road boring and conduit installation and DMS foundation work.

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 8AM-4PM, The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Drive in order to install sidewalks.
  • Friday May 9, 7PM-6AM, The two northbound lanes and shoulder will be closed on SR 6 (Gallatin Pike) at the intersection of Neelys Bend Road and at the intersection of Madison Street to replace crosswalks.  Northbound traffic will be diverted from Neelys Bend to Madison Street.

 

Look Ahead:

  • Friday May 16, 7PM-6AM, The two southbound lanes and turn lane will be closed on SR 6 (Gallatin Pike) at the intersection of Neelys Bend Road and at the intersection of Madison Street to replace crosswalks.  Southbound traffic will be diverted onto one northbound lane (left lane).  Northbound traffic will be shifted into a single northbound lane.

 

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from the Benton County Line to the Hickman County Line including Bridge Repair

  • Friday May 9, 8PM through Monday May 12, 6AM, I-40 will be reduced to one lane in both directions, from MM 140 to MM 142, in order to perform bridge repairs. Troopers will be utilized.
  • Sunday May 11 through Tuesday May 13, 8PM-6AM, I-40 reduced to one lane in both directions, from MM 135 to MM 148, in order to perform milling operations. Troopers will be utilized.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-65 from the Marshall County Line to North of SR 99

  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound for paving operations.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Intersection Improvements on US 31/SR 6 (Nashville Hwy.)

  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on US 31 at Baker Road and US 31 at Carters Creek Pike in order to perform intersection improvements.

 

MAURY COUNTY, Concrete Pavement Repair

  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane shifts on the ramps at Saturn Parkway and Highway 31 to replace concrete. (WEATHER DEPENDENT)

 

Look Ahead:

  • Friday May 16, 8PM through Monday May 19, 5AM, The ramp from Saturn Parkway to Highway 31S will be closed so that concrete may be replaced between the bridges. (WEATHER DEPENDENT)

 

MAURY COUNTY, Local Programs Project

  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 from Cayer Lane to Raider Lane in order to install barrier rail.
  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 8AM-4PM, There will be alternating lane closures on James Campbell Boulevard at Trotwood Avenue in order to perform intersection improvements.

 

BEDFORD/RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from West of SR 840 to East of SR 840 and from East of Epps Mill Rd. to the Coffee County Line

  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to mill and pave the roadway.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of New Interchange on SR 1 (Broad St.) at SR 10/SR 96 (Memorial Blvd./Old Fort Pkwy.)

  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96, Broad Street, and College Street for underground utility crossings.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 12 Noon, (excluding weekends), There will be rolling roadblocks on SR 248 (Goose Creek Bypass/Peytonsville Road), between Lewisburg Pike and Five Mile Creek, for blasting.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 9AM-3PM, (including weekends), There will be temporary lane closures at all intersections for paving and striping.
  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 8PM-6AM, There will be temporary lane closures throughout the project in order to stripe the roadway.

 

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd.) from Sunset Rd. to Nolensville Rd.

  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench & bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.

 

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to pave.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:

  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as needed basis with in-house work force:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

 

Giles County

  • Thursday May 8, 8AM-3:30PM, Northbound and southbound lanes will be closed on the bridge over Elk River on SR 7 (US 31) at MM 5.45 to remove debris from the river. No lanes will remain open. All northbound traffic will be detoured to I-65, from Exit 1 (Ardmore) to Exit 6 (SR 273), to SR 7 (US 31). All southbound traffic will be detoured onto SR 273 to I-65, from Exit 6 to Exit 1 (Ardmore), to SR 7 (US 31). 

 

Robertson County

  • Monday May 12 through Friday May 23, 8PM-6AM,(excluding weekends), There will be lane closures in both directions on SR 11 / US 41, from MM 0 at the Robertson-Davidson County line to MM 8.45 at the intersection of Bill Jones Industrial Drive, in order to seal roadway cracks.

 

Stewart County

  • Thursday May 8 through Wednesday May 14, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 233 in Stewart County for milling and paving. Local TDOT crews will be providing traffic control at from MM 3.5 to MM 4.5 and from MM 6.5 to MM 7.5.

 

Williamson County

  • Tuesday May 13 through Wednesday May 21, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 100 in Fairview at Walmart for paving.  One lane will remain open at all times.

 

TDOT Bridge Repair:

Davidson County

  • Thursday May 8, 7PM-4AM,   The two right lanes will be closed on I-24 eastbound in Davidson County at MM 57 (Haywood Lane) for bridge repair.  The exit and two left lanes will remain open.

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

Davidson County

  • From now through Thursday July 31, 7PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Road) from Menzler Lane to Fesslers Lane in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to open cut and install a 6” gas main.
  • From now through Thursday May 8, 7PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on White Bridge Road at Post Road in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to repair a leak.
  • From now through Thursday May 8, 7PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 at 923 Main Street (Shell Bldg) in Davidson County in order to open cut for a water service.
  • Wednesday May 14 and Thursday May 15, 9AM-3PM, The outside lane will be closed on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Road) near McGavock Pike in Davidson County in order for NES to transfer existing wires to a new pole at the Metro Airport.

 

Montgomery County

  • From now through Saturday May 31, 9AM-2PM, There will be lane closures on SR 48N (Trenton Road), between Needmore Road and Meriwether Road in Clarksville, for utility relocation.

 

TDOT Traffic:

City of Portland

  • Saturday May 10, 10AM-7PM, SR 109 will be closed from SR 52 to US 31W at the state line for Strawberry Festival events.  Detours and traffic control will be in place by the City of Portland.
