Weekend Lane Closures Scheduled on I-40/240 Interchange

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – The Tennessee Department of Transportation has scheduled the following temporary lane closures for Saturday, May 31 on the I-40/240 interchange:

The left lane of Exit 10A on I-40 westbound (traveling Sycamore View to Walnut Grove) will be closed beginning at 7:00 a.m. for shoulder work. Upon completion of the work to the left shoulder, the right lane of Exit 10A will close for shoulder work and installation of high-mass lighting along the exit ramp.

There will be temporary closures of Exit 10B on I-40 westbound (traveling Nashville to Little Rock) for installation of construction barriers and materials on the ramp. Traffic on this ramp will be temporarily halted throughout the day from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

All work is weather dependent. Should inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances prevent this work from occurring as scheduled, it will be rescheduled.
