BLOUNT COUNTY, Washington Street between East Broadway Avenue and High Street in Maryville: Motorists should be alert for possible lane shifts and temporary lane closures at various times through this project. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

BLOUNT COUNTY, US 411/ SR 35 between S. Washington Street and Wilcox Street: Motorists should be alert for possible lane shifts and temporary lane closures at various times through this project. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 North and South between Mile Markers 134 and 147:  Motorists should be alert for nightly lane closures on Sundays through Thursdays between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning for resurfacing. Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.

CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 South near Mile Marker 139: Motorists on I-75 South should be alert for a lane closure approaching Mile Marker 139 as crews perform bridge repairs in this area.  This lane closure will remain in effect around the clock until repairs are complete.  Due to the reduced bridge width, no loads in excess of thirteen (13) feet in width will be permitted to pass through this area.  Loads in excess of thirteen (13) feet in width should take Exit 29 in Corbin, Kentucky and follow US 25E as a detour.  Wide loads entering into Tennessee on I-75 South must exit at Exit 141 and take an alternate route. Motorists should be alert for slow traffic, use extreme caution and expect potential delays at various times in this area.

CAMPBELL COUNTY, I-75 North and South between TN./KY. State Line and Mile Marker 156:  Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures nightly in this area on Sunday through Thursday between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews complete final items through this resurfacing project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

CARTER COUNTY, US 321 between SR 67 and East of Poga Road: Motorists should be alert for daily lane closures during daylight hours as crews perform milling and resurfacing through this area. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.

CARTER COUNTY, SR 362 Gap Creek Road between SR 361 and Tester Road: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures at various times through this project. Motorists should be alert for changed conditions and use extreme caution in this area.

COCKE COUNTY, I-40 East and West near Mile Marker 431: On Monday, June 2, 2014 and Wednesday, June 4, 2014, motorists should be alert for a possible lane closure approaching this area between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. as crews mill and resurface bridge deck.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.

COCKE/JEFFERSON COUNTY, US 25E/SR 32 Bridge over the French Broad River:  Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures with flagging personnel present at various times through this bridge construction project near the Cocke and Jefferson County line. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

COCKE COUNTY, US 411/SR 35 at US 25W:  Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures with flagging personnel present at various times through this construction project. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

GREENE COUNTY, SR 351 Bridge over Camp Creek at Log Mile 8.1: SR 351 near Log Mile 8.1 is reduced to one lane controlled by a temporary traffic signal as crews perform bridge repairs. Due to the reduced bridge width, loads in excess of nine (9) feet in width must use an alternate route. Motorists should be alert for changed conditions, be prepared to stop and use extreme caution in this area.

GREENE COUNTY, US 11E between Mile Markers 4 and 5: Motorists should be alert for a lane closure through this safety improvement project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

GREENE COUNTY, US 11E/SR 34 between SR 348 and SR 70: Motorists should be alert for nightly lane closures between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning on Sunday through Thursday through this resurfacing project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

HAMBLEN COUNTY, SR 32/US 25E near I-81 Interchange: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures and flag persons directing traffic at various times through this project.  Motorists should be alert for new and changing conditions, workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

HAMBLEN COUNTY, SR 32/US 25E near College Park Drive: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures at various times and changing conditions through this project. 

HAMBLEN COUNTY, SR 160 at Merchants Greene: Motorists should be alert for new lane shifts near this intersection as crews perform work through this bridge construction project.  Motorists should be alert for changing conditions and use extreme caution in this area.

HANCOCK COUNTY, SR 33 between Sinks Road and Panther Creek Road:  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

HANCOCK COUNTY, SR 33 between Fox Branch Road and Nattie Branch Road:  Motorists should be alert for possible daily lane closures through this small structure replacement project. Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

HANCOCK COUNTY, SR 70/SR 33 Interchange: Motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures at various times during daylight hours through this bridge construction project.  Motorists should be alert for reduced speeds and use extreme caution in this area.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, I-40 East and West Bridge over the French Broad River near Mile Marker 425: I-40 East and West across the bridge over Douglas Lake near Mile Marker 425 is reduced to one lane in each direction as crews continue this bridge rehabilitation project.  These lane reductions will be in place around the clock for approximately two years.  Motorists should be alert for lane shifts and narrowed lanes in this area.  Traffic loads in excess of 12 feet in width will be prohibited and must follow a detour route.  The wide load detour will be US 25/SR 9 between Exits 424 and 432. Motorists should expect potential delays in this area during peak travel times.  Local traffic should consider using US 25/SR 9 as an alternate route during peak travel periods.  I-81 and I-26 may be used as an alternate route for I-40 “thru traffic” to by-pass this project during peak travel periods. JEFFERSON COUNTY, US 25W Bridge over the French Broad River and SR 113 Ramps at I-40: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures with flag personnel directing traffic at various times through this area as crews receive materials associated with the adjacent I-40 bridge repair project.  Motorists should be alert for equipment present and use extreme caution in this area.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, I-81 from the I-40 Interchange to the Hamblen County Line: Motorists should be alert for nightly lane closures for resurfacing on Sundays through Thursdays between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, US 411/SR 35 near Muddy Hollow Road at Log Mile 4:  Motorists should be alert for flag persons directing traffic at various times through this project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

JEFFERSON COUNTY, SR 92 near Dumplin Valley Road at Log Mile 13.3: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures in this area between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews install signal poles in this area.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.

JOHNSON COUNTY, SR 133 near Mile Marker 0.5: On Wednesday, May 28, 2014, SR 133 will be closed to thru traffic between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. as crews replace a drainage structure.  Motorists should follow signed detour route during this time.  Motorists should be alert for changed conditions and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-640 East and West between I-40 and Broadway (Exit 6): Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures and width restrictions on the ramps nightly thru this area on Sunday through Thursday between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-640 West Ramp to I-40 West: Beginning Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at 7 p.m., motorists should be alert for a lane closure which will reduce this ramp from two lanes to one as crews perform bridge deck overlay. This lane closure will remain in effect around the clock until repairs are completed.  Motorists should be alert for slow traffic, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 West Ramp to Alcoa Highway (Exit 386B): Motorists should be alert for a lane closure which has reduced this ramp from two lanes to one as crews perform bridge repairs. This lane closure will remain in effect around the clock until repairs are completed.  Motorists should be alert for changed conditions, workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 East Ramp to 17th Street (Exit 387): Beginning Tuesday, May 27, 2014, motorists should be alert for a width reduction on this ramp as crews perform bridge repairs. Motorists should be alert for changed conditions, workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, I-40 West Weigh Station Ramp Improvement Project: Motorists should be alert for lane shifts and reduced lane widths between Campbell Station Road and Watt Road.   Motorists should be alert for reduced speed and for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, SR 62 (Oak Ridge Hwy. /Western Ave.) between Schaad Road and Copper Kettle Road: Motorists should be alert for temporary lane closures at various times throughout this widening project.  Motorists traveling in this area should be alert for workers and equipment present and be alert for changing traffic conditions, detours, traffic shifts and use caution through this area. Woodsmith Road at SR 62 is closed to thru traffic for construction. The following roads are currently closed to thru traffic for construction: Shortt Road at Western Avenue; South Hinton Road between Western Avenue and Third Creek Road; Jimmy Carter Road at Western Avenue and Beaver Ridge Road at Western Avenue.  A short section of Ball Camp Pike between Western Avenue and Goldenrod Street is also closed for construction.  Motorists should be alert for changing conditions and follow signed detour routes. KNOX COUNTY, SR 33 Maynardville Highway between Temple Acres Drive and the Union County Line: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures with flagging personnel present at various times as work continues through this widening project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, US 129/SR 115 at Maloney Road: Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use caution through this intersection improvement project.

KNOX COUNTY, SR 131 Emory Road between Gill Road and Clinton Highway: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures with flagging personnel present at various times through this widening project for bridge construction, utility and equipment crossings.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

KNOX COUNTY, Ebenezer Road at North Westland Drive: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily through this intersection improvement project.  Motorists should be alert for workers present, changing conditions and use extreme caution in this area.

LOUDON COUNTY, US 321/SR 73/ at I-75 North at Exit 81: Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use caution through this intersection improvement project.

LOUDON COUNTY, US 321/SR 73 between SR 2 and City Park Drive: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures at various times through this project. Motorists should be alert for changing conditions, workers present, construction equipment and use extreme caution through this area.

ROANE COUNTY, I-40 East and West near Exit 347:. Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures in both directions on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 through Thursday, May 29, 2014 between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform bridge repairs. Motorists should be alert for lane shifts, narrowed lanes, closed shoulders, reduced speeds, construction personnel and equipment present and expect potential delays through this bridge repair project. Motorists traveling in the right lane of I-40 East approaching the exit ramp at Exit 347 should use extreme caution and be prepared for motorists slowing down to use the exit ramp.

ROANE COUNTY, US 27 underneath I-40 Exit 347: Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures daily in this area as crews perform overhead bridge work.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

SEVIER COUNTY, I-40 East and West between Mile Markers 402 and 412: Motorists should be alert for possible brief rolling roadblocks through this area between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. daily for blasting associated with the construction project at Exit 407. Motorists should be alert for sudden stops, slow moving or stopped conditions; reduce speed and use extreme caution approaching this area.

SEVIER COUNTY, I-40 East and West near Mile Marker 407: Beginning at 8 p.m. Sunday, June 1, 2014, I-40 East will be reduced from three lanes to two approaching this area as crews perform overhead bridge work.  This lane reduction will remain in place around the clock for approximately three weeks.  Motorist should be alert for lane shifts and changed conditions in this area. Motorists should expect potential delays, use extreme caution and be alert for possible slowed traffic approaching this area. 

SEVIER COUNTY, SR 66 over I-40 at Exit 407: Motorists should be alert for workers present, expect potential delays and use extreme caution in this area.

SEVIER COUNTY, SR 66 in Sevierville SR 139 (Douglas Dam Rd.) and SR 338 W (Boyd’s Creek Hwy):  On Wednesday, May 28, 2014 and Thursday, May 29, 2014, motorists should be alert for nightly lane closures in both directions through this area between the hours of 7 p.m. and 6 a.m. the following morning as crews install storm drains.  Motorists should be alert for changed traffic conditions through this project.  Short duration traffic stops in both directions may occur daily Monday through Friday through this project for utility crossings. SEVIER COUNTY, SR 35 near Hattie Branch Road and Patterson Road: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures in this area between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews install signal poles in this area.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use caution in this area.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, US 11E/SR 34 at US 19E/SR 37: A temporary detour of SR 37/US19E is in place at the intersection of SR 34/US 11E. Traffic signals have been installed and are operational at the intersection of SR34/37 and SR37/44. The detour is estimated to be in place until August 2014. Motorists should be alert for changed conditions and follow signed detours. Motorists should be alert for workers and equipment present and use extreme caution through this bridge construction and intersection reconstruction project.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, SR 126 between East Center Street and Cooks Valley Road: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures between the hours of 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. daily as crews perform survey work.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, SR 75 at SR 357: Motorists should be alert for possible temporary lane closures and use extreme caution through this signalization project.

SULLIVAN COUNTY, SR 36 at various locations in Kingsport: Motorists should be alert for possible daily lane closures in this area between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. as crews perform utility work.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.

UNICOI COUNTY, SR 107 at Main Street:  Motorists should use extreme caution and be alert for construction personnel and equipment entering and exiting this construction project.

UNION COUNTY, Existing SR 33 Bridge over Clinch River (Norris Lake) Weight Restrictions:  The existing State Route 33 Bridge over Norris Lake is posted with weight limit restrictions and is being strictly enforced.  Weight restrictions are: 5 axle vehicles are 35 tons; 3 or 4 axle vehicle is 22 tons; 2 axle vehicles are 20 tons.  VEHICLES WEIGHING IN EXCESS OF THE RESTRICTED WEIGHTS WILL NOT BE PERMITTED TO CROSS THE BRIDGE AND MUST FOLLOW A DETOUR ROUTE. Motorists should be alert for possible lane closures with flaggers directing traffic at various times and use extreme caution approaching the bridge.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, SR 81 at SR 353: Motorists should be alert for changed conditions and use extreme caution through this intersection improvement project.

WASHINGTON/SULLIVAN COUNTY, I-26 at SR 75 (Exit 13) Interchange Improvement Project: Motorists should be alert for right shoulder closures with portable concrete barrier rail through this interchange modification project.  Motorists should use extreme caution when traveling through this area.

WASHINGTON/SULLIVAN COUNTY, I-26 East and West between Mile Markers 10 and 17: On Wednesday, May 28, 2014 and Thursday, May 29, 2014, motorists should be alert for a possible brief rolling roadblock in this area to occur between 10 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. for overhead utility work associated with the construction project at Mile Marker 13.  Motorists should be alert for sudden stops, slow moving or stopped conditions; reduce speed and use extreme caution approaching this area.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, SR 67 near Milligan Highway: On Tuesday, May 27, 2014 through Friday, May 30, 2014, motorists should be alert for possible lane closures in this area between the hours of 9 a.m. and 3 p.m. as crews perform work on the overhead railroad bridge.  Motorists should be alert for slow conditions, expect potential delays and use extreme caution through this area.

WASHINGTON/SULLIVAN COUNTY, SR 75 between SR 36 and SR 357: Motorists should be alert for changed conditions and use caution in this area.

WASHINGTON COUNTY, SR 36 between SR 354 and SR 75: Motorists should be alert for lane shifts, possible lane closures and flag persons directing traffic at various times through this project.  Orchard Avenue is closed.  Traffic is still shifted at Spurgeon Island Road.  Traffic will also be shifted from Boone Avenue to Boring Chapel Road.  From Boone Avenue to near Hammitt Road will be split traffic separated by a barrier wall.  Short duration traffic stops in both directions may occur daily through this project for utility and equipment crossings.  Motorists should be alert for workers present and use extreme caution in this area.
