Sidney Porterfield Dead At Age 71

NASHVILLE - Inmate Sidney Porterfield has passed away today at age 71. He was pronounced dead at approximately 2:47 p.m. at Lois DeBerry Special Needs Facility.
Porterfield was convicted of murder 1 in Shelby County. He was sentenced to death in 1986.
