BENTON COUNTY, SR-191 over I-40:
Wednesday May 14
through Wednesday May 21:  At present there is a lane shift/closures eastbound westbound I-40 at mile marker 133.0.

Beginning Friday March 14 through Thursday May 22:  I-40 overhead bridge at mile marker 133.0 (State Route 191) will be CLOSED.

Saturday May 17, 7:00 a. m.-7:00 p. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound at MM 133.0, for a lane shift, due to construction of overpass bridge.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

Tuesday May 20 through Thursday May 22, 8:00 p. m -6:00 a. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound at MM 133.0, for a lane shift, due to construction of overpass bridge.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over an overflow and the Big Sandy River. Wednesday May 14 through Wednesday May 21:  A signal system is being utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 10’ lane restriction.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over the Rutherford Fork Obion River and overflows.  Wednesday May 14 through Wednesday May 21:  A signal system is being utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 9.5’ lane restriction.

CHESTER COUNTY, SR-22:  Bridge Repair on State Route 22 over Dry Creek at the intersection of Willis Road.  A signal system is active with lights flashing yellow.  Roadway is opened to traffic.

CHESTER COUNTY, (SR-22,SR-100,SR-125,SR-197,SR-200,SR-201,SR-224,SR-225&SR-365):
Wednesday May 14 through Wednesday May 21, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: 
There will be possible “rolling” lane closures on various State Routes, for the retracing of painted pavement markings.

CROCKETT/GIBSON COUNTY, SR-188:  Construction of five (5) concrete box beam bridges on State Route 188 at the Crockett/Gibson County line.  The roadway is CLOSED with a detour route posted.

DECATUR COUNTY, SR-20 (US-412):  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from Wilkinstown Road/Bear Creek Road to State Route 69.

DECATUR COUNTY, SR-69:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from SR-20 (US-412) to north of Rock Crusher Lane.

DECATUR COUNTY, SR-202:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from State Route 69 to State Route 114.

DYER COUNTY, I-155Bridge repair (2) over overflow log mile 6.19 right & left.  Wednesday May 14 through Wednesday May 21:  Construction signs have been installed.  There are no scheduled closures.

DYER COUNTY, SR-3 (US-51):  LOOK AHEAD:  Thursday May 29 7:00 a. m.-5:00 p. m.:  Bridge and approaches work will cause the westbound ramp from State Route 3 going onto I-155 to be temporarily CLOSED.

DYER COUNTY, SR-104:  Bridge Repair on State Route 104 over Lewis Creek Canal.  A signal system will be utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 10’ 9” lane restriction.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40, Interchange at SR 222:  Wednesday May 14 through Wednesday May 21:  The east and westbound shoulders at Exit 42 are CLOSED.

FAYETTE and SHELBY COUNTY, (SR-385) Future I-269:  Construction of I-269 from the interchange with State Route 385 to the Mississippi State line.  The project intersects with US 72 (State Route 86) in the area of the Mann Road intersection.  State Route 86 is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction in the median.  Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zone and also crossing the roadway.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-104:  A widening project from west of State Route 188 to Milligan Lane and Gumwoods Road will result in temporary lane closures each day.  Traffic has been shifted from east of State Route 188 to the proposed eastbound lanes.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-152 (Joe Lucky Sr. Highway):  Miscellaneous safety improvements.  There will be possible lane closures at the intersection of State Route from the Humboldt City limits to State Route 186, for milling operations.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-18:  Construction of a concrete box beam bridge and paving on State Route 18 over Cypress Creek.  Wednesday May 14 through Wednesday May 21:  There will be lane closures north and southbound with a temporary signal in place.  One lane will remain open, in each direction.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction for the West Tennessee Solar Farm and Welcome Center, including removal of Albright Road bridge. Wednesday May 14 through Wednesday May 21:  There are no scheduled closures.

HAYWOOD COUNTY,  I-40:  Construction at the intersection of State Route 76 & I-40 at the weigh station Wednesday May 14 through Wednesday May 21:  There are no scheduled closures.

HENDERSON COUNTY,  I-40:  Resurfacing from west of State Route 22 extending to west of State Route 114  will result in temporary lane closures each day.

Sunday May 18 through Thursday May 22, 7:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be lane closures east & westbound I-40 between mile marker 108-116, for cold planing and paving operations.  One lane will remain open.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

HENDERSON COUNTY, (SR-114):  Miscellaneous safety improvements
Thursday May 15 through Wednesday May 21, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.:  There will be possible lane closures from State Route 201 to State Route 20/US-412, for the installation of rumble strips and the installation of various roadway signs.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-22:  A widening project on State Route 22, south of State Route 21 in Tiptonville to existing State Route 22 (Cates Landing Rd.).  There are lane shifts throughout the project.  State Route 22 is closed from intersection of State Route 212 and Vaughn Road North to Cates Landing Road. Detour 3.5 miles on Vaughn Road to State Route 22 Cates Landing Road.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-3:  Bridge Repair (2) on US-51 (State Route 3) over Chambers Branch.  Traffic is reduced to one north and one southbound lane with a 12’ lane restriction.  Speed limit has been reduced to 55 MPH.

LAUDERDALE COUNTY, SR-208:  A widening project on State Route 208 (State Route 209/Cleveland Street) beginning at State Route 209 (Washington Street) and extending to State Route 208 at US-51/State Route 3 in Ripley.  There will be temporary lane closures daily.

MADISON COUNTY, I-40:
Sunday May 18, 8:00 a. m.-5:00 p. m.: 
There will be lane closures westbound I-40 between mile marker 78.0-76.82, for spot milling and paving for patching potholes.  One lane will remain open.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

MADISON COUNTY, I-40 at Exit 93:
Thursday May 15, 2:00 p. m.-3:00 p. m.: 
The Exit 93 ramp from I-40 westbound will be closed, for crack sealing demonstration, for pothole repair.

MADISON COUNTY, US-70 (SR-1):  A bridge repair project over Gilmers Creek.
Wednesday May 14 through Wednesday May 21:  There will be lane closures in both the east and westbound directions on State Route 1, with a temporary signal, for duration of the project.  Traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 11’ lane restriction.  Signal was activated January 22, 2014

Beginning March 14, 2014, traffic will be reduced to one lane with a 11’ 3” lane restriction at log mile 31.05.

MADISON COUNTY, (SR-5):  A bridge repair project over Middle Fork Forked Deer River.  Wednesday May 14 through Wednesday May 21:  At present there is a lane shift/closure on State Route 5 near Porter Cable.

MADISON COUNTY, (SR-5, Highland Drive) US-45:  Miscellaneous safety improvements
Wednesday May 14 through Wednesday May 21, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.:   There will be possible lane closures at the intersection of North Highland Avenue and Lamar Drive, for the installation of signs, thermoplastic stripping and the upgrade of handicap ramps.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 8:
Wednesday May 14
through Wednesday May 21:  The left inside shoulder of the exit ramp for westbound Interstate 40 to Second Street, will be closed for about six months.  The exit ramp from Westbound I-40 to Riverside Drive has been narrowed to 14 feet and “wide loads” are restricted from using this.  The right shoulder of the entrance ramp from Riverside Drive to I-40 Eastbound has been narrowed to 12 feet and “wide loads” are restricted from using this.

Thursday May 15:  The exit ramp from westbound I-40 to Riverside Drive has been narrowed to 14 feet (the right shoulder and a small portion of the lane) and “wide loads” are restricted from using this. The ramp will remain open at all times.

Beginning Tuesday May 20The eastbound exit ramp from I-40 Eastbound to Riverside Drive will be CLOSED for approximately three months.  This is the first exit on eastbound I-40 after crossing the Mississippi River.  The exit to Front Street will remain open; it is only the exit to Riverside Drive that will be closed.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 9:
Wednesday May 14
through Wednesday May 21:  Eastbound lane of I-40 is closed. The closure is required for safe access and egress for seismic retrofit on the Arkansas approach of the Hernando DeSoto Bridge. The lane closure is anticipated to remain in place until June 2014.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Memphis Smartway Transportation (ITS) I-40 beginning at SR-177 (Germantown Road) in Shelby County extending to Braden Road Overpass in Fayette County:
Wednesday May 14 & Thursday May 15, Monday May 19 & Tuesday May 20, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: 
There will be nighttime lane closures at the following locations, for installing and repairing guardrail.  The closures will not be simultaneously and Tri-State will coordinate with Standard regarding their night time paving project in the area.

  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound (MM 18.0 to MM 30.00), one lane will remain open.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 from west of Davies Plantation Road LM-22.98 to the Fayette County line log mile 30.60:

Friday May 16, 8:00 p. m. through Monday May 19, 6:00 a. m.:  There will be temporary lane closure east and westbound between Exit 24/25 and the Shelby/Fayette County line (MM 23.0 to MM 28.0), for bridge repair work.

Sunday May 18 through Thursday May 22, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be temporary lane closure east and westbound between US-64/Exit 18 and the Shelby/Fayette County line (MM 19.0 to MM 28.0), for milling and paving operations.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 North of SR-385 to North of Walnut Grove Rd.:  Wednesday May 14 through Wednesday May 21:  A widening project on I-240 will cause temporary lane closures. Traffic has been moved to temporary ramps at the Walnut Grove interchange.

Monday May 12 through Thursday May 15, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 p. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures westbound I-240, 2 right lanes between mile marker 14.5 & mile marker 16.0, for the installation of underpass lighting at all overpasses.  Weather Permitting.

Thursday May 15, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 p. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures eastbound & westbound

I-240, for the installation of overhead sign structure that span in entire width of the interstate, 1 right lane of eastbound I-240 at MM 15.0 and a rolling closure beginning at 8:00 p.m. The second portion of this closure is for 1 right lane of westbound I-240 from mile marker 16.0 to mile marker 15.0 and a rolling closure beginning at approximately 10:00 p. m.  The rolling closure will only be in effect during the actual setting of each structure.

LOOK AHEAD:  Saturday May 31, 6:00 a. m.-5:00 p. m.:  There will be temporary lane closures eastbound

I-240, 1 right lane, between mile marker 16.0 & mile marker 14.0, for the removal of portable barrier rail on CD Road and one between Poplar Avenue and Walnut Grove Road.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40/I-240 Phase 2 Interchange Improvements Wednesday May 14 through Wednesday May 21:  Modification of the I-40/I-240 interchange.

Beginning Monday February 10:  The right lane of eastbound Summer Avenue was CLOSED, beginning just west of the existing I-240 northbound bridge over Summer Avenue, for the installation of portable barrier rail to allow for construction of Abutment 1/Wall 12.  This will be a permanent lane closure.

Beginning Saturday March 22:  The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Eastbound was CLOSED, beginning east of Perkins Road to the I-40/I-240 interchange for bridge construction.  The right lane of Sam Cooper Boulevard Westbound was CLOSED, beginning east of the I-40/I-240 interchange for bridge construction.  Westbound Sam Cooper Boulevard traffic should utilize the inside lane of I-40.

Wednesday May 14 through Wednesday May 21:  The inside shoulder of I-240 flyover is closed, for approximately 2 weeks, for bent cap construction on the new I-40 flyover.

Thursday May 15 through Saturday May 17, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.:  Reduce lanes on Summer Avenue to one lane in each direction, beginning near the redlight at White Station Road, for removal of existing parapet/overhang on the I-240 northbound bridge over Summer Avenue (Bridge 4). Police officers will assist in traffic shifts as necessary during the removal. Police officers will close traffic temporarily during the lifts of the overhang sections from the existing bridge.

Saturday May 17, 7:00 a. m.-6:00 p. m.:  The right lane of I-240 northbound will be temporary closed, beginning at Exit 12A, to allow for installation of portable barrier rail for I-40N westbound widening and for Frontage Road/Ramp M (I-240 northbound to Summer Avenue).  Exit 12A and existing Ramp M will remain open.  Also, the right lane of I-240 northbound will be temporary closed, extending to the gore area where existing Ramp M joins I-240 northbound to allow for installation of portable barrier rail for I-40N westbound widening and for Frontage Road/Ramp M (I-240 northbound to Summer Avenue).

Saturday May 17, 7:00 a. m.-6:00 p. m.The right lane of Ramp A (I-40 beginning at north abutment of Greenway Bridge), to allow for extension of portable barrier rail for Phase 1A2.  Exits 12C & 12B will remain open.  Also, the right lane of Ramp A, extending across the Wolf River Bridge, to allow extension of portable barrier rail for Phase 1A2.  Exits 12C & 12B will remain open.

Monday May 19 through Wednesday May 21, 8:00 p. m.-2:00 a. m.:  The right lane of I-240 northbound will be temporary closed, beginning north of Exit 13 approximately 500’ south of CCTV Pole 107 and the right lane of I-240 northbound, extending just north of CCTV Pole 107, to allow for installation of CCTV Pole 107.  Exit 13 & Exit 12C will remain open.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55:  The I-55 Welcome Center is CLOSED due to construction of a new facility.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (US-61):  A replacement of the bridge over Illinois Central Railroad from South Parkway to McLemore Avenue.  Roadway is CLOSED, a detour route is posted.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72):  Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction.  South Rowlett Street is closed to through traffic in the vicinity of the State Route 86 bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad.  Motorists may use Wilson Street to Harris Street as a detour.

SHELBY COUNTY, Grade, drain, pave SR-177 (Germantown Rd); Crestridge Rd to Stout Rd:
Wednesday May 14
through Wednesday May 21:  There will be intermittent lane closures on State Route 177 (Germantown Road), between Germantown City Limits (LM-1.65) to Stout Road (LM-2.40).  Flagmen will be utilized during these closures to ensure safety from oncoming traffic and construction equipment.  The closures will be intermittent and for as short a time as possible. NOTE:  The outside lane on northbound State Route 177 at the Stout intersection is closed due to a gas line leak that MLGW has not yet completed repairing.  This MLGW work is not part of the project.  However, we have notified MLGW of our concerns with the partially open hole and have asked that they cover it completely with roadway plates until they can complete the repair and open the lane.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-385:  Bridge Repair (2) on State Route 385 over Loosahatchie River log mile 9.58 left & right. Traffic will be reduced to one northbound and one southbound twelve (12’) lane will be maintained.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail Repair:  Monday May 19 through Thursday May 22, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be night time lane closures at the following locations, to repair damaged guardrail.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Shelby County, westbound & eastbound (MM 0.0 to MM 8.0), one lane will remain open.  Also,  this will include a partial ramp closure on the I-40 westbound Exit 1A Ramp and I-40 westbound “On” ramp at MM 5.1.
  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound (MM 15.0 to MM 20.0), one lane will remain open. 
  • I-55, Shelby County, northbound (MM 1.0 to MM 11.5), one lane will remain open.  Also,  this will include a partial ramp closure on I-55 southbound at MM 7.7.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Retracing of Pavement Marking with Paint:  Wednesday May 14 through Wednesday May 21:  There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT REGION 4, Relensing of Snowplowable Markers:  Wednesday May 14 through Wednesday May 21:  There are no scheduled closures.

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Concrete Pavement Repair:
Monday May 19 through Wednesday May 21, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.: 
There will be nighttime lane closures at the following locations, for concrete pavement repair.  These will not be simultaneous closures.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Shelby County, westbound (MM 4.35 to MM 2.80), one lane will remain open.

Monday May 19 through Wednesday May 21, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be nighttime lane closures at the following locations,  for concrete pavement repair.  These will not be simultaneous closures.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

  • I-40, Shelby County, westbound & eastbound entrance ramp from SR-300, one lane will remain open.

Monday May 19 through Wednesday May 21, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be nighttime lane closures at the following locations,  for concrete pavement repair.  These will not be simultaneous closures.  THP will assist with traffic control.  Weather Permitting.

  • SR-3 (US-51), Shelby County, entrance ramp to State Route 300, one lane will remain open.

TDOT MAINTENANCE:
Wednesday May 14 through Wednesday May 21, 9:00 a. m.-4:00 p. m.: 
There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.  Weather Permitting.

WEAKLEY COUNTY, SR-22:  Resurfacing work will cause temporary lane closures in both directions daily, from the ramp from State Route 431 to north of the ramp from State Route 43
