DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • Thursday April 10, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures at Trinity Lane on I-65 South for restriping.  Two lanes at a time will be closed.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through April 2014, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.
  • Wednesday April 9 through Wednesday April 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be a temporary lane closure to shift traffic for paving on Gallatin Rd.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, Including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Wednesday April 9 through Wednesday April 16, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson St. under I-40 in order to paint the bridge.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Misc. Safety Improvements on I-65 from East of Rosa L. Parks Blvd. to near Fern Ave. Including rampto I-24 Eastbound

  • Thursday April 10 and Friday April 11, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating left and right lane closures on the ramp from I-24 WB to I-65 SB to install snowplowable markers & signs. (Approximate LM 9.5-10.8) One lane will remain open at all times. 
  • Thursday April 10 and Friday April 11, 9PM-5AM, The right lane of I-65 southbound starting at the Cumberland River  (Approximately LM 10-11; about 1 mile before Rosa Parks) will be closed in order to install snowplowable markers and signs.  Two lanes will remain open.  

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday April 10 through Wednesday April 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday April 10 through Wednesday April 16, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday April 10 through Tuesday April 15, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound and SR 840 (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57) for road boring and conduit installation and DMS foundation work.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Thursday April 10 through Wednesday April 16, 8AM-4PM, The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Dr. in order to install sidewalks.

MAURY COUNTY, Local Programs Project

  • Monday April 7 through Thursday April 10, 8AM-4PM,  There will be alternating lane closures on James Campbell Blvd. from Trotwood west approximately 1,000 L.F. and from Trotwood to James Campbell Blvd North 600 L.F. on the west side of Trotwood in order to perform intersection improvements.
  • Thursday April 10 through Thursday April 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 6 from Cayer Lane to Raider Lane in order to install barrier rail.

MAURY COUNTY, Intersection Improvements on SR 6 at Carters Creek Pike and Bakers Road

  • Thursday April 10, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Hwy 31/Baker Road and Hwy 31/Carters Creek in order to perform intersection improvements.

MAURY COUNTY, Local Programs Project

  • Thursday April 10 through Thursday April 17, 8AM-4PM,  There will be alternating lane closures on James Campbell Blvd. from Trotwood west approximately 1,000 L.F. and from Trotwood to James Campbell Blvd North 600 L.F. on the west side of Trotwood in order to perform intersection improvements.

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from the Benton Co. line to the Hickman Co. line including Bridge Repair

  • Friday April 11, 8PM through Monday April 14, 6AM, I-40 reduced to one lane in each direction from MM 140-MM142 in order to perform bridge repairs.  Troopers will be utilized.

BEDFORD/RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from West of SR 840 to East of SR 840 and from East of Epps Mill Rd. to the Coffee County Line

  • Sunday April 13 through Wednesday April 16, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to mill and pave the roadway.  Milling will begin at Epps Mill Rd. going east to the Coffee County line.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of a New Interchange on SR 1 at SR 10 (Broad St.) and SR 96

  • Thursday April 10 through Tuesday April 15, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96, Broad St., and College St. in order to prepare for a traffic shift.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday April 10 through Wednesday April 16, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to patch asphalt.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Sunday April 13 through Wednesday April 16, 8PM-5AM, The left lane will be closed in both directions on I-65 to place base stone in the median between MM 60.2 and 62.6. State Troopers will be utilized.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday April 10 through Wednesday April 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures at all intersections for various work to be performed for intersection tie-ins and traffic signal work.
  • Saturday April 12, 6AM through Sunday April 13, 6PM, Cool Springs at Mack Hatcher will be closed to mill and pave. Message boards have been set up to give notice of the closure. Officers will be used for traffic control.
  • Saturday April 12, 6AM-3PM, There will be a temporary lane closure on Liberty Pike to finish milling.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd.) from Sunset Rd. to Nolensville Rd.

  • Thursday April 10 through Wednesday April 16, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench & bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday April 10 through Wednesday April 16, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

 

  • Thursday April 10 through Wednesday April 16, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

Williamson County

  • Thursday April 10 through Wednesday April 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 840 in both directions in Williamson County between Exit 23 (SR-246 Carters Creek Rd.) and mile marker 28 due to resurfacing.  One lane will remain open.
  • Monday April 14 through Wednesday April 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 96 between mile marker 14 and mile marker 20 for asphalt repair.  One lane will remain open.  Portable traffic signals will be utilized.

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

Davidson County

  • From now through Monday April 21, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on 8th Ave. near Commerce St. and Hume Fogg High School in order for NES to excavate the roadway for installation of electrical conduit.
  • From now through Thursday April 10, 8PM-5AM, There will be one lane of SR 155 (Briley Pkwy.) eastbound and westbound closed over the Cumberland River in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to work on a gas line.
  • Sunday April 13, 5AM-7AM, Traffic will be stopped approximately twice for up to 5 minutes in order for TDS to pull cable across SR 171 at I-40.
  • Monday April 14, 8AM through Tuesday April 15, 5PM West Main St, (SR 246) from 7th Ave. to 9th Ave. in the City of Franklin will be closed in order to open cut the roadway for sewer work. Traffic will be detoured around using 7th Ave. to Fair St. to 9th Ave. 

Montgomery County

  • From now through Wednesday April 30, 9AM-2PM, There will be temporary lane closures in both directions on SR 48 North (Trenton Rd.) between 8.0 MM (Needmore Road) and the 10.5 MM (Meriwether Road) in Clarksville to pull new cable for  utility relocation. The Clarksville Department of Electricity will be doing the work, Flag Pro will be taking care of the work zone. Weather permitting.
  • From now through Friday April  11, 9AM-2PM, The right  lane will be closed  north bound  on SR. 13 / U.S. 79  north  (Wilma Rudolph Blvd.) between 25.0 MM (Needmore Lane ) and the 26.0 MM  (Dunlop Lane ) in Clarksville to pull new cable and to do a utility crossing at Wilma Rudolph Blvd. and Needmore Road. The Clarksville Department of Electricity will be doing the work, Flag Pro will be taking care of the work zone. Weather permitting.

TDOT Bridge Inspection on I-440 Interchange, I-40 Interchange over I-65 (six bridges)

  • Thursday April 10 through Friday April 11, 9PM-5AM, There will be one lane closed in both directions on 6 bridges for Bridge Asbestos Survey.  One lane will remain open.
