TDOT Reminds Motorists - Work Zone Speeding: A Costly Mistake

Jackson, Tenn. - The Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) will hold an event for National Work Zone Awareness Week on Monday, April 7 at 10:00 a.m.  The event will be held at the Region 4 Complex.  During the event, TDOT will remember the 109 employees who lost their lives in the line of duty.

The family of Mr. Scott Jones, the TDOT employee who was killed in the line of duty this past August will be present as we unveil his name on the plaque of the TDOT employees who have fallen.

Monday’s event will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will last approximately 30 minutes.
