TDOC Announces Inaugural 5K

NASHVILLE  –  In an ongoing effort to support Governor Bill Haslam’s Healthier Tennessee Initiative, the Tennessee Department of Correction is announcing our inaugural 5K Run/Walk.  The event will be held on Saturday, May 17, 2014 at the historic Tennessee State Prison.

The event consists of a 5K run and a 1.5 mile walk.  Immediately following the walk, participants can enjoy family friendly activities like corn hole and a putt-putt challenge. 

Registration is open to the public and the fee is only $5 with all proceeds going to the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Middle Tennessee.
