DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through April 2014, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, Including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Wednesday March 26 through Wednesday April 2, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson St. under I-40 in order to paint the bridge.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday March 27 through Wednesday April 2, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday March 27 through Wednesday April 2, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Saturday March 29, 6AM-12PM (Noon), Traffic will be shifted on the ramps at I-24 and Waldron Road in LaVergne in order to mill and pave.  Flaggers will be utilized.

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Installation of Smartway ITS Message Signs

  • Thursday March 27 through Wednesday April 2, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-40 WB mile marker 215 (Briley Pkwy/ Airport area) for static pole, installation of conduit, wire and site cleanup.
  • Thursday March 27 through Wednesday April 2, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-24 WB mile marker 42.2 on left and right sides for site cleanup.
  • Thursday March 27 through Wednesday April 2, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on State Route 386 near Conference Dr. east bound on ramp on both right and left shoulders for site cleanup.
  • Thursday March 27 through Wednesday April 2, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-40 from mile marker 203 to mile marker 204 for pole, wire installation and site cleanup.

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday March 27 through Tuesday April 1, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound and SR 840 (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57) for road boring and conduit installation and DMS foundation work.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Local Programs Project (Metro Public Works)

  • Thursday March 27 through Wednesday April 2, 8AM-4PM, The right lane of Harding Place eastbound will be closed from Danby Drive to Timberhill Dr. in order to install sidewalks.

HUMPHREYS COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 from the Benton Co. line to the Hickman Co. line including Bridge Repair

  • Friday March 28, 8PM through Monday March 31, 6AM, I-40 reduced to one lane in each direction from MM 140-MM142 in order to perform bridge repairs.  Troopers will be utilized.

ROBERTSON COUNTY, SR 125 over Honey Run Creek

  • Thursday March 27 and Friday March 28, 7AM-5PM, There will be intermittent lane closures in both directions on State Route 25 over Honey Run Creek for switching traffic from the existing roadway and bridge to the new roadway and bridge.  

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Construction of a New Interchange on SR 1 at SR 10 (Broad St.) and SR 96

  • Thursday March 27 through Tuesday April 1, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 eastbound and westbound over the CSX Railroad just west of the intersection in order to install traffic attenuators and barrier rail.

WILSON COUNTY, On- Call Signing Installation

  • Thursday March 27, 8PM-6AM, The left lane of the eastbound ramp on I-40 at Exit 226 (SR-171/Mt. Juliet Rd.) will be closed for changes to existing signs. The changes will be to the Belinda Parkway sign.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday March 27 through Wednesday April 2, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to patch asphalt.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Monday March 31 through Wednesday April 2, 8PM-5AM, The left lane will be closed in both directions on I-65 to place base stone in the median. State Troopers will be utilized.
  • Monday March 31, 9AM-3PM, There will be a west bound lane closure on State Route 248 for paving in preparation of the temporary lane shift. Flaggers will be utilized.
  • Tuesday April 1, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating one lane closures on SR 248 east of I-65 in order to install a water line.  Flaggers will be utilized.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday March 26 through Wednesday April 2, 9AM– 3PM, There will be lane closures at all intersections for various work to be performed for intersection tie-ins and traffic signal work.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd.) from Sunset Rd. to Nolensville Rd.

  • Thursday March 27 through Wednesday April 2, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench & bore pit blasting operations near the roadway.

  • Thursday March 27 through Wednesday April 2, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

 

  • Thursday March 27 through Wednesday April 2, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee for tree trimming and removal on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Maury and Robertson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Dickson, Hickman and Humphreys Counties

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

  • From now through Monday April 21, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on 8th Ave. near Commerce St. and Hume Fogg High School in order for NES to excavate the roadway for installation of electrical conduit.

TDOT Materials and Tests

  • Friday March 28, Rutherford County, 9AM-12Noon, There will be a rolling lane closure on SR 268, from SR 1 (US-41/70S) to SR 10 (US-231) in Rutherford County while cores are taken from the roadway. Flagging will be utilized where appropriate and one lane will remain open at all times.

Railroad Bridge Repair Over Riverside Drive in Clarksville (RJ Corman-Contractor)

  • Thursday March 27 through Wednesday April 2, 9AM-3PM,  SR 12 will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Mile Marker 13.8 to 14.2 (approximately between Adams Street and Crossland Ave. on Riverside Drive) in order to repair Railroad overhead bridge at Log Mile 13.96.
