Tennessee Viticulture Advisory Board to Meet

NASHVILLE – The Tennessee Viticulture Advisory Board will meet March 24 at 10 a.m. CST at DelMonaco Winery, located at 600 Lance Dr. in Baxter, Tenn. The agenda includes a discussion and review of the 2014 VAB report, which provides an assessment of and plan for growing the state’s grape industry. 

The meeting is open to the public. Individuals interested in addressing the board should plan to arrive prior to the start of the meeting in order to be placed on the agenda.

The Tennessee Viticulture Advisory Board advises the Tennessee Department of Agriculture on matters pertaining to grape growing and wine production in Tennessee.  The Board comprises nine members representing growers and processors of grapes, academia and the Tennessee departments of Agriculture and Tourist Development.
