DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through April 2014, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Gallatin Rd. from Briley Pkwy. to I-65 over Ellington Pkwy. Ramp

  • Thursday February 6 through Wednesday February 12, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on SR6 at Briley Pkwy on ramp for installation of concrete pad.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, Including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Wednesday February 5 through Wednesday February 12, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson St. under I-40 in order to paint the bridge.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday February 6 through Wednesday February 12, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday February 6 through Wednesday February 12, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Installation of Smartway ITS Message Signs

  • Thursday February 6 through Wednesday February 12, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-40 WB MM 215 (Briley Pkwy/ Airport area) for installation of conduit and wire.
  • Thursday February 6 through Wednesday February 12, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-24 WB MM 42.2 on left and right sides for wire and conduit installation.
  • Thursday February 6 through Wednesday February 12, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on SR386 near Conference Dr. east bound on ramp on both right and left shoulders for DMS foundation and conduit installation.
  • Thursday February 6 through Wednesday February 12, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-40 from MM 203 to MM 204 for trenching and to install pull boxes poles and conduit.
  • Tuesday February 11 through Wednesday February 12, 9PM-5AM, There will be a rolling roadblock on SR386 near Conference Dr. east bound and west bound at MM 1.8 to install DMS. There will be uniformed officers to slow and stop traffic for maximum of 30 minutes to swing structure. Traffic control personnel will block the ramp at Conference Dr. onto SR386.
  • Tuesday February 11 through Wednesday February 12, 9PM-5AM, There will be a rolling roadblock on I-24 WB at MM 42.2. Traffic will be slowed and stopped for a maximum of 30 minutes to install DMS. Uniformed Officers will be used. Traffic control personnel to block the on ramp at Briley Pkwy onto I-24.

MARSHALL COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 106 (US 431) over the Duck River

  • Thursday February 6 and Friday February 7, 9AM–3PM,   SR106 (US431) at the Duck River crossing will be closed to through traffic as necessary for the setting of beams on the proposed bridge over the Duck River.  A detour will be posted directing traffic to use SR272 (Verona Caney Road) as an alternate route. This will impact traffic traveling south on US431 from the SR99 junction and traffic traveling north on US431 from the SR50 junction.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday February 6 through Wednesday February 12, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to patch asphalt.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday February 6 through Wednesday February 12, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure for Jordan Rd. at SR96 and on SR 96 westbound for pot holing to locate gas and water lines.  Flaggers will be utilized.
  • Thursday February 6 through Wednesday February 12, 9AM-3PM,  There will be a lane closure for the eastbound turn lane on Liberty Pike and the southbound turn lane from Mack Hatcher to set signal poles.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd.) from Sunset Rd. to Nolensville Rd.

  • Thursday February 6 through Wednesday February 12, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench and boring operations.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, SR 252 (Wilson Pike) and McEwen Dr. Intersection, City of Franklin Project

  • Thursday February 6 through Saturday February 8, 9AM–3PM, There will be lane closures as necessary on SR-252 (Wilson Pike) at McEwen Drive for the installation of conduit for traffic signal modifications. This lane closure is in conjunction with the intersection improvements at SR-252 (Wilson Pike) and McEwen Drive which is being done by the City of Franklin.

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday February 6 through Wednesday February 12, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

  • Thursday February 6, 9PM-6AM, There will be lane closures at 210 Lewisburg Ave. (US 431/SR106) in order for the City of Franklin to perform sewer work.
  • From now through Wednesday February 12, 8PM-4AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Franklin Rd. (SR 6) at the intersection of Hogan Rd. in Davidson County in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to install a 4” gas main.
  • From now through Friday February 27, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on 8th Ave. near Commerce St. and Hume Fogg High School in order for NES to excavate the roadway for installation of an electrical vault.
  • From now through Thursday March 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures at the intersection of Rio Vista Dr. and Old Hickory Blvd. (SR 45) and ending at Bridge Way Ave. in Davidson County in order for NES to remove control cables.
