TDOT to Hold Ribbon Cutting on U.S. Hwy. 41 Bridge over Tennessee River at Nickajack Lake in Marion County

CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Transportation Commissioner John Schroer will join with state and local officials to celebrate the official opening of a new bridge on U.S. Hwy. 41 over the Tennessee River at Nickajack Lake in Marion County, Tenn. on Friday, November 7, 2014.

Official Opening of U.S. Hwy. 41 Bridge over Tennessee River at Nickajack Lake in Marion County, Tenn.

10:00 a.m. CST – Ribbon Cutting

Where:
On U.S. Hwy. 41 at the end of the new bridge that is nearer to Chattanooga.

Directions:
From Chattanooga via I-24 West, take Exit 161 (SR-156) and turn right toward Haletown/New Hope.  From Nashville via I-24 East, take Exit 161 (SR-156) and turn left toward Haletown/New Hope. 
After you travel approximately 1/2 mile, SR-156 becomes SR-134.  Continue following SR-134 until you reach the U.S. Hwy. 41 intersection.  Turn left toward the bridge.  Parking will be available on the roadway.
