I-40/I-240 Interchange Project in Shelby County

MEMPHIS, Tenn. –The Tennessee Department of Transportation will host a media availability to discuss upcoming scheduled work and closures on the I-40/I-240 interchange project. Crews are scheduled to close several interstate routes over two weekends, beginning the weekend of November 8-9, 2014.

During the event, members of the media will be able to interview TDOT officials. All detour routes will be available on the project webpage: http://www.tdot.state.tn.us/i40-240memphis/ immediately following the event.

Parking for the event will be behind construction barrels near the White Station and Summer Avenue Interchange. A HELP truck will be present to direct parking. In the event of rain, the event will be held at the Transportation Management Center, 5344 Boswell Avenue.
