DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through April 2014, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, Including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Thursday January 23 through Wednesday January 29, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson St. under I-40 in order to paint the bridge.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday January 23 through Wednesday January 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday January 23 through Wednesday January 29, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Installation of Smartway ITS Message Signs

  • Thursday January 23 through Wednesday January 29, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-40 WB MM 215 (Briley Pkwy/ Airport area) for installation of camera pole.
  • Thursday January 23 through Wednesday January 29,7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-24 WB MM 42.2 on left and right sides for DMS foundation and conduit installation.
  • Thursday January 23 through Wednesday January 29, 9PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-24 WB mm 42.2 to drill for DMS sign foundation in the median.
  • Thursday January 23 through Wednesday January 29, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on SR386 near Conference Dr. east bound on ramp on both right and left shoulders for DMS foundation and conduit installation.

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday January 23 through Wednesday January 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86) and SR 840 (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57) for road boring and conduit installation.
  • Thursday January 23 through Wednesday January 29, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86)  for road boring and conduit installation.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday January 23 through Wednesday January 29, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to patch asphalt.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • No lane closures this week

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday January 23 through Wednesday January 29, 9AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure for Jordan Rd. at SR96 and on SR 96 westbound for pot holing to locate gas and water lines.  Flaggers will be utilized.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd.) from Sunset Rd. to Nolensville Rd.

  • Thursday January 23 through Wednesday January 29, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench and boring operations.

 

TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday January 23 through Wednesday January 29, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Smith County

  • Thursday January 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane closed on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 263 for bridge inspections.  One lane will remain open.

 

TDOT Region 3 Utilities

  • Monday January 27 through Thursday January 30, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Dickerson Rd. (SR 11, US 41/31W) just north of the intersection with Alhambra Cir. in order for Metro Water to excavate for a water main tap.
  • From now through Friday February 27, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on 8th Ave. near Commerce St. and Hume Fogg High School in order for NES to excavate the roadway for installation of an electrical vault.
  • Thursday January 23 through Thursday March 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures at the intersection of Rio Vista Dr. and Old Hickory Blvd. (SR 45) and ending at Bridge Way Ave. in Davidson County in order for NES to remove control cables.
  • Sunday January 26 through Wednesday February 12, 8PM-4AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Franklin Rd. (SR 6) at the intersection of Hogan Rd. in Davidson County in order for Piedmont Natural Gas to install a 4” gas main.
  • Thursday January 30, 9PM-6AM, There will be lane closures at 210 Lewisburg Ave. (US 431/SR106) in order for the City of Franklin to perform sewer work.

 

HQ Materials & Tests

  • Friday January 24, Wilson County, 9AM-12Noon, There will be a rolling lane closure in both directions on SR 10, from SR 265 to South of Stumpy Lane in Wilson County while cores are taken from the roadway. Flagging will be utilized where appropriate and one lane will remain open at all times.
  • Monday January 27, Rutherford County, 9AM-12Noon, There will be a rolling lane closure on SR 268, from SR 1 ( US-41/70S) to SR 10 ( US-231) in Rutherford County while cores are taken from the roadway. Flagging will be utilized where appropriate and one lane will remain open at all times.
  • Monday January 27, Marshall County, 12Noon-3PM, There will be a rolling lane closure on SR 106 ( Ellington Pkwy.) from Spring Place Rd. to Commerce St. ( US-431) while cores are taken from the roadway. Flagging will be utilized where appropriate and one lane will remain open at all times.
  • Tuesday January 28, Montgomery County, 9AM-12Noon, There will be a rolling lane closure on SR 12 from Big McAdoo Creek to the SR 76/US-41A junction while cores are cut from the roadway. Flagging will be utilized where appropriate and one lane will remain open at all times.
  • Tuesday January 28, Robertson/Montgomery Counties, 12Noon-3PM, There will be a rolling lane closure in both directions on SR 11 from the Red River Bridge to the Kentucky State Line while cores are taken from the roadway. Flagging will be utilized where appropriate and one lane will remain open at all times.
