DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • Thursday August 8 through Wednesday August 14, 10AM-2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound between Dickerson Rd. and Exit 88 (I-24 ramp) in order to blast.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Eastbound from I-65 to I-24

  • Friday August 9, 8PM through Monday August 12, 5AM, I-440 eastbound will be closed from the I-65 junction to the I-24 junction including the on and off ramps at Nolensville Rd. in order to perform concrete repairs.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through December 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Battery Lane over West Fork Browns Creek

  • From now through August 31, Battery Lane will be closed for bridge replacement.  Detours will be in-place. 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Rd) from Rural Hill Rd to Rutherford Co Line

  • Thursday August 8 through Wednesday August 14, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 1 for paving the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 255 (Donelson Pike) from SR 1 to Royal Pkwy.

  • Thursday August 8 through Wednesday August 14, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures on Donelson Pike in order to degrass the shoulders and begin milling operations.
  • Friday August 9, 8PM through Monday August 12, 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Donelson Pike for bridge repair work.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 65 (Whites Creek Pike) from Eatons Creek to the Robertson Co. Line

  • Monday August 12 through Wednesday August 14, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Whites Creek Pike in order to begin milling and paving the roadway.

HICKMAN COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Garners Creek and Garners Creek Rd.

  • Friday August 9, 8PM through Monday August 12, 6AM, There will be one lane closed of I-40 eastbound (MM 162.0) in order to work on the bridge approach and repair the bridge deck and parapet and paving, also one lane closed of I-40 westbound in order to work on texture coating and expansion joint repair.
  • Monday August 12 through Wednesday August 14, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closed of I-40 east and westbound (MM 162.0) in order to work on texture coating and expansion joint repair.

 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday August 8th through Wednesday August 14th, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday August 8th through Wednesday August 14th, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Longitudinal Joint Stabilization on Various State Routes

  • Thursday August 8 through Wednesday August 14, 8PM-5AM, There will be moving work zones at the following locations for longitudinal joint stabilization:
  • SR11 (Spring Street – Trinity Lane)
  • SR6 (Rosa Parks Blvd – Ellington Pkwy) Davidson County
  • SR1 (Murfresboro City Limits – Thompson Lane Paving Joint) Rutherford County
  • SR10 (Joint Indian Park Drive – SR1 Broad Street) Rutherford County
  • SR96 (Cason Lane-SR1) Rutherford County

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway, ITS I-24 Expansion Project

  • Wednesday August 7 through Tuesday August 13, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound for soil sampling (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86). Three Lanes will remain open in each direction. There will also be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86) and SR 840 for soil sampling (Approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57).

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 50 from Seavy Hight Rd. to the Marshall Co. Line

  • Thursday August 8 through Wednesday August 14, 8AM-7PM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on SR 50 for milling, paving the roadway and installation of guardrail.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Rocky Fork Rd. over I-24

  • Monday August 12 through Wednesday August 14, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound near MM 69 for bridge repairs. One lane will remain open.

WILSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 171 (Mt. Juliet Rd.) from the Davidson Co. line to north of SR 265

  • Thursday August 8 through Wednesday August 14, 9AM-3PM, (excluding Sunday), There will alternating lane closures on SR 171 in both directions for guardrail installation, traffic loop installation, and paving operations.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday August 8 through Wednesday August 14, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for excavation and hauling operations.  One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Thursday August 8 through Wednesday August 14, 9AM-2PM, There will be rolling road blocks on I-40 westbound for blasting.  Police officers will be utilized.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • From now through December 2013, The inside lanes of Mack Hatcher Pkwy. in both directions approximately ½  west of the Franklin Rd intersection will be closed in order to  perform median work and work on the next phase of construction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 253(Concord Rd.) from US 31 (SR 6) to SR 252 (Wilson Pike) including Bridge Deck Repair

  • Friday August 9, 8PM through Monday August 12, 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures for bridge deck repair.
  • Monday August 12, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures in order to install pavement markings on the bridge.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

Estimated Completion Date 11-30-13

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • Wednesday August 7, 8PM-6AM, Wilson Pike will be closed just north of McEwen each night in order to install a water line.

 

TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday, August 8th through Wednesday, August 14th, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

CHEATHAM COUNTY

  • Thursday August 8 through Wednesday August 14, 7PM-5AM, One lane will be closed on I-40 eastbound in Cheatham County between mile marker 188 and mile marker 191 for pothole repair on the Harpeth River Bridge deck. 
  • Monday August 12 through Wednesday August 14, 9AM-3PM, State Route 13 between Old Highway 13 and Beardstown Road will be reduced to one lane for Geotechnical work. Traffic will be flagged.

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Thursday August 8 through Wednesday August 14, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open.   
  • Thursday August 8 through Wednesday August 14, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.  
  • Thursday August 8 and Monday August 12 through Wednesday August 14, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations on the interstates in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Tuesday August 13, 8PM-5AM, The two left lanes will be closed on I-24 westbound at the I-40 eastbound junction (over Murfreesboro Road) between mile marker 51 and mile marker 52 for milling and paving.  The two right lanes will remain open.  

 

TDOT Survey Office

Williamson County

  • Thursday August 8 and Monday August 12, 9AM-3PM, The inside and outside shoulder of I-65 southbound will be closed between Liberty Pike to S.R. 96 for survey work.  All lanes of traffic will remain open.

 

TDOT Materials & Tests

  • Friday August 9, 9AM-12 Noon, Marshall County SR 373 (Mooresville Hwy.) from I-65 to East of SR 417, there will be a rolling lane closure while cores are taken from the roadway. One lane will remain open at all times, or flagging will be utilized where appropriate.
  • Wednesday August 14, 9AM-12 Noon, Montgomery County SR 13 from Houston County line to SR 48, there will be a rolling lane closure in both directions while cores are taken from the roadway. One lane will remain open at all times.
  • Friday August 16, 9AM-12 Noon, Macon County SR 10 from South of Goose Creek Rd. to SR 52, there will be a rolling lane closure on SR 10 North while cores are taken from the roadway. One lane will remain open at all times.
  • Monday August 12, 9AM-12 Noon, Rutherford County, on Waldron Rd. from North of Enterprise Blvd. to SR 1 (US 70), there will be a rolling lane closure in both directions while cores are taken from the roadway. One lane will remain open at all times.
