BENTON COUNTY I-40:  Resurfacing beginning east of SR-191 (approximately mile marker 131) and extending to west of the Tennessee River on I-40 near Birdsong Road (approximately mile marker 134) at the Tennessee River Bridge. Sunday August 25 & Monday August 26, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.:  There will be temporary night time lane closures eastbound (MM 133.0 to MM 135.0), one lane will remain open.  THP will assist with traffic control.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-22:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning at the Henderson County line extending to north of Clarksburg.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over an overflow and the Big Sandy River. A signal system is planned to be active August 23, 2013 and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 10’ lane restriction.

CARROLL COUNTY, SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over the Rutherford Fork Obion River and overflows.  A signal system is being utilized and will reduce traffic to one lane with a 9.5 lane restriction.

CHESTER COUNTY, SR-365:  Temporary lanes closures each day for resurfacing beginning at US-45 Bypass (State Route 5) and extending to White Avenue.

CROCKETT/GIBSON COUNTY, SR-188:  Construction of five (5) concrete box beam bridges on State Route 188 at the Crockett/Gibson County line. The roadway is CLOSED with a detour route posted.

DYER COUNTY, SR-78:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning at State Route 104 (Forrest Street) and extending to north of Radio Road. 

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40, Interchange at SR 222:  Wednesday August 21 through Wednesday August 28:   The east and westbound shoulders at Exit 42 are closed.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-59:  Thursday August 29 & Friday August 30:  The railroad crossing on State Route 59 will be CLOSED to repair/replace damaged crossing surface.  Detour will be posted.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-76:  Construction of four (4) bridges on State Route 76 over North Fork Wolf River and overflows.  Traffic is controlled with a temporary signal and is reduced to one lane in each direction.

FAYETTE and SHELBY COUNTY, I-269:  Construction of I-269 from the interchange with State Route 385 to the Mississippi State line.  The project intersects with US 72 (State Route 86) in the area of the Mann Road intersection.  State Route 86 is reduced to one lane in each direction for bridge construction in the median.  Motorists should watch for trucks entering and exiting the roadway from the construction zone and also crossing the roadway.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-194:  Six (6) bridges are being replaced on State Route 194 between State Route 57 and State Route 15 (US-64).  Motorists should watch for construction vehicles entering and exiting the work zones.

FAYETTE COUNTY, SR-194:  Temporary lane closures are possible for the installation of safety improvements on State Route 194 in Fayette County.  A flagman will be onsite to direct traffic.

FAYETTE COUNTY SR-196:  Temporary lanes closures are possible for the installation of safety improvements on State Route 196 in Fayette County.  A flagman will be on site to direct traffic when the new signs are being installed.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-43:  Temporary lane closures each day on US-45E (State Route 43) beginning at State Route 187 extending to Woodlawn Street. 

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-104:  A widening project from west of State Route 188 to Milligan Lane and Gumwoods Road will result in temporary lane closures each day.  Traffic has been shifted from east of State Route 188 to the proposed eastbound lanes.  .

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-457:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing beginning at State Route 5 extending to State Route 104.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-15:  A widening project between East of Margin Street to near Hornsby Loop Road will result in a lane shift during the week. Traffic has been shifted to the proposed west bound lanes. 

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-18:  Construction of a concrete box beam bridge and paving on State Route 18 over Cypress Creek. Wednesday August 21 through Wednesday August 28:  There will be lane closures north and southbound with a temporary signal in place.  One lane will remain open, in each direction. 

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-114:  Bridge Repair over the Tennessee River at Clifton. Wednesday August 21 through Wednesday August 28:  There will be lane shifts east and westbound on State Route 114.

HENDERSON COUNTY, I-40:  Bridge repair project over Middle Fork Forked Deer River (between mile marker 98-99) & over Dabbs Creek (between mile markers 112-114).  The shoulders are closed at (Middle Forked Deer River) east and westbound.

HENDERSON COUNTY, SR-20:  A widening project on State Route 20 (US-412) from State Route 114 to the Decatur County Line.  All lanes (new and existing) and adjacent side roads are now OPEN.  Ongoing work could cause temporary lane closures throughout project.  Flaggers are present.

HENDERSON COUNTY, SR-22:  A bridge repair project will cause lane closures on State Route 22 over I-40 in both north and southbound lanes. 

HENDERSON COUNTY, SR-104:  Bridge repair project over the Beech River at LM-18.20
Wednesday August 21 through Wednesday August 28:  There will be lane closures north and southbound on SR 104 with temporary signal in place. One lane will remain open, in each direction.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-22:  A widening project on State Route 22, south of State Route 21 in Tiptonville to existing State Route 22 (Cates Landing Rd.).  There are lane shifts throughout the project. 

LAUNDERDALE COUNTY, SR-208:  A widening project on State Route 208 (State Route 209/Cleveland Street) beginning at State Route 209 (Washington Street) and extending to State Route 208 at US-51/State Route 3 in Ripley.  There will be temporary lane closures daily. 

MCNAIRY COUNTY, SR-22:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing State Route 22 beginning at State Route 57 to the Hardin County line.

MCNAIRY COUNTY, SR-224:  Construction of three (3) box beam bridges on State Route 224 over Owl Creek, Lick Creek and Clarey Creek.  Roadway is OPEN to traffic at Owl Creek, Clarey Creek and Lick Creek.  There will be possible lane closures.

MCNAIRY COUNTY, SR-224:  Construction of a concrete box beam bridge on State Route 224 over Graham Creek.  Roadway is CLOSED until Tuesday October 15, 2013 with a detour route posted. 

OBION COUNTY, SR-5:  Temporary lane closures each day for resurfacing on US-45W/State Route 5 beginning at Polk Station Road to State Route 431. 

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55:  The I-55 Welcome Center is CLOSED due to construction of a new facility.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 8: Wednesday August 21 through Wednesday August 28:  The left (inside) shoulder of the exit ramp for westbound Interstate 40 to Second Street is closed.  The Eastbound EXIT to Front Street is closed.  Traffic on Front Street between Jackson Avenue and Poplar Avenue is restricted to one lane in each direction. 

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 9: Wednesday August 21 through Wednesday August 28:  West of the I-40 MS River Bridge, the outside eastbound lane is closed. The lane closure is anticipated to remain in place until December 2013.

LOOK AHEAD:  Tuesday September 10 through Wednesday September 11, 10 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be night time lane closures at the following locations: the ramp lanes from I-40 east and westbound to Sam Cooper to repair damage to a gas main running under the White Station Bridge.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Memphis Smartway Transportation (ITS) I-40 beginning at SR-177 (Germantown Road) in Shelby County extending to Braden Road Overpass in Fayette County:
Wednesday August 21 through Wednesday August 28:  There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 eastbound over US-70 (SR-1, Summer Avenue) LM-13.88
Friday August 23, 8:00 p. m. through Monday August 26, 5:00 a.m.:  There will be temporary lane closures eastbound (MM 11.0 to MM 12.0), for bridge repair work.  Two lanes will remain closed.  One lane will remain open.  All lanes will remain open on Summer Avenue.  THP will assist with traffic control.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 westbound over the Wolf River LM-5.01: Friday August 23, 8:00 p. m. through Monday August 26, 5:00 a. m.:  There will be temporary lane closure westbound at approximately mile marker 2, for expansion joint work.  The “Off” ramp from US 300 will also be closed and traffic will be detoured to Watkins Avenue.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 North of SR-385 to North of Walnut Grove Rd.:
Wednesday August 21 through Wednesday August 28:  A widening project on I-240 will cause temporary lane closures. Traffic has been moved to temporary ramps at the Walnut Grove interchange.
 
SHELBY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-240 beginning east of I-55 LM-5.70 and extending to east of Perkins Road LM-12.33: Sunday August 25 through Thursday August 29, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.:  Temporary lane closures east and westbound (MM 17.0 to MM 25.0).  Two lanes will remain closed in each direction.  One lane will remain open.  THP will assist with traffic control.

SHELBY COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR-14 beginning at the ramp to I-40 LM-20.04 and extending to North of SR-204 LM-23.51: Sunday August 25 through Thursday August 29, 7:00 p. m.-6:00 a.m.:  Temporary lane closures east and westbound (MM 20.04 to MM 23.51).  Two lanes will remain open.  THP will assist with traffic control.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-14 (US61):  A replacement of the bridge over Illinois Central Railroad from South Parkway to McLemore Avenue. A detour route is posted.

SHELBY COUNTY, -Grade, drain, pave SR-177 (Germantown Rd); Crestridge Rd to Stout Rd:
Wednesday August 21 through Wednesday August 28:  There will be intermittent lane closures on State Route 177 (Germantown Road), between Germantown City Limits to Stout Road.  Flagmen will be utilized during these closures to ensure safety from oncoming traffic and falling tree limbs.  The closures will be intermittent and for as short a time as possible.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72):  Construction on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville. Traffic is reduced to one lane in each direction.  South Rowlett Street is closed to through traffic in the vicinity of the State Route 86 bridge over the Norfolk Southern Railroad.  Motorists may use Wilson Street to Harris Street as a detour.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-175 (Shelby Drive): Resurfacing beginning at Swinnea to north of State Route 176 (Getwell Avenue): Sunday August 25 through Thursday August 29, 7:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  Temporary lane closures in both directions to replace handicap ramps.  Two lanes will remain open.

SHELBY and FAYETTE COUNTY, SR 385:  Construction on State Route 385 from State Route 57 Poplar Ave. in Piperton to State Route 193 Macon Rd. in Fisherville. Trucks may be entering the highway in the area of State Route 193 (Macon Road) and State Route 385 intersection. 

TDOT REGION 4, On-Call Guardrail:  Wednesday August 21 through Wednesday August 28, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 a. m.:  There will be night time lane closures at the following locations, to repair damaged guardrail.

• I-40, Shelby County, eastbound (MM 1.0 to MM 2.0), one lane will remain open.  Also, this will include a temporary ramp closure on the I-40 westbound “Off” ramp at Danny Thomas northbound.
• I-240, Shelby County, southbound (MM 30.0 to MM 31.0), one lane will remain open.
• I-240, Shelby County, westbound & eastbound (MM 16.0 to MM 18.0), one lane will remain open.  Also, this will include a partial ramp closure on I-240 westbound “Off” ramp at Mt. Moriah.
• SR-14, Shelby County, northbound & southbound (MM 7.0 to MM 8.0), one lane will remain open.

TDOT REGION 4 Retracing of Pavement Marking with Paint
Wednesday August 21 through Wednesday August 28, 9:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.(**) & 8:00 a. m.-6:00 p.m.:  There will be day time “rolling” lane closures at the following locations, for retracing of pavement markings.

• SR-77, Dyer County, both directions (LM 0.00 to LM 6.93), one lane will remain open.
• SR-78, Dyer County, both directions (LM 0.00 to LM 13.61), one lane will remain open.
• SR-89, Dyer County, both directions (LM 0.00 to LM 1.08), one lane will remain open.
• SR-103, Dyer County, both directions (LM 0.00 to LM 8.37), one lane will remain open.
• SR-104, Dyer County, both directions (LM 0.00 to LM 29.02), one lane will remain open.
• SR-105, Dyer County, both directions (LM 0.00 to LM 5.70), one lane will remain open.
• SR-181, Dyer County, both directions (LM 0.00 to LM 21.86), one lane will remain open.
• SR-182, Dyer County, both directions (LM 0.00 to LM 9.77), one lane will remain open.
• SR-210, Dyer County, both directions (LM 0.00 to LM 6.85), one lane will remain open.
• SR-211, Dyer County, both directions (LM 0.00 to LM 17.23), one lane will remain open.

TDOT MAINTENANCE:   Wednesday August 21 through Wednesday August 28, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.:  There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

TIPTON COUNTY, SR-384:  Construction of a concrete box beam bridge. A temporary signal is being used with the northbound lane CLOSED.  There is one 11’ lane on bridge.
