TDVA to Host Veterans Outreach Event for Claiborne and Hancock Counties

NASHVILLE – Tennessee Department of Veterans Affairs is partnering with several Veteran service organizations to host a Veterans outreach event for Claiborne and Hancock Counties on Monday, August 19 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 

Representatives will be present to offer claims guidance and educational programs. The Tennessee Department of Veterans Affairs (TDVA), Walters State Community College, Knoxville Vet Center, Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) and Veterans of Foreign Wars (VFW) will be present to answer questions and offer assistance. 

Veterans will need to present a copy of their DD-214 and any other service related documents to assist with filing claims for federal benefits.
