CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 251 (River Rd.) Over Sam’s Creek

  • No lane closures this week

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • From now through July 20, Ewing Lane and a portion of Hillhurst will be closed and detours will be in place to allow excavation of the roadway under I-65.
  • Thursday July 11 through Wednesday July 17, 10AM-2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound between Dickerson Rd. and Exit 88 (I-24 ramp) in order to blast.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Eastbound from I-65 to I-24

  • Friday July 12, 8PM through Monday July 15, 5AM, I-440 eastbound will be closed from the I-65 junction to the I-24 junction including the on and off ramps at Nolensville Rd. in order to perform concrete repairs.
  • Saturday July 13, 8PM through Sunday July 14, 5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-440 westbound in order to inspect and mark the deck repairs over the CSX Railroad and Glenrose Ave. bridges.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through December 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Battery Lane over West Fork Browns Creek

  • From now through August 31, Battery Lane will be closed for bridge replacement.  Detours will be in-place. 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 386 (Vietnam Vets Blvd) From I-65 to Conference Drive

  • Thursday July 11 through Wednesday July 17, 9PM-6AM, (excluding Friday and Saturday) There will be alternating lane closures on SR 386 for paving and striping the roadway.
  • Sunday July 14, 9PM-6AM, The Conference Drive on and off ramps on SR 386 eastbound will be closed for paving.
  • Monday July 15, 9PM-6AM, The roadway access ramp along westbound SR 386 at Conference Drive will be closed for paving.
  • Tuesday July 16 and Wednesday July 17, 9PM-6AM, The Conference Drive on and off ramps on SR 386 westbound will be closed for paving.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 1 (Murfreesboro Rd) from Rural Hill Rd to Rutherford Co Line

  • Thursday July 11 through Wednesday July 17, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 1 for removing the grass off the shoulders and milling the roadway.

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on US 41 (Dickerson Pike) over Mansker Creek

  • Thursday July 11 through Monday July 15, 7PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Dickerson Pike in order to perform expansion joint work and final striping.

HICKMAN COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Garners Creek and Garners Creek Rd.

  • Friday July 12, 8PM through Monday July 15, 6AM, There will be one lane closed of I-40 westbound (MM 162.0) in order to work on the bridge and pave the roadway.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Monday July 11 through Wednesday July 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

  • Monday July 11 through Wednesday July 17, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

 

MARSHALL COUNTY, Resurfacing on I65 from the Giles Co. line to the Maury Co. line

  • Thursday July 11 through Wednesday July 17, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound between MM 22.0 and MM 35.0 in order to install permanent striping and snowplowable markers.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Resurfacing and Bridge Deck Repair on I-24 from SR 76 to the Robertson Co. Line

  • No lane closures this week

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Epps Mill Rd. over I-24

  • Look Ahead:
  • Saturday July 20, 8AM-12 Noon, There will be one lane closed on I-24 Eastbound at Epps Mills Rd. for bridge repair.  One lane will remain open.

SMITH COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 beginning at Smith/Wilson County line to exit 258

  • Thursday July 11 through Wednesday July 17, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for paving operations.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday July 11 through Wednesday July 17, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for milling the roadway and shifting traffic.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • No lane closures this week

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • From now through December 2013, The inside lanes of Mack Hatcher Pkwy. in both directions approximately ½  west of the Franklin Rd intersection will be closed in order to  perform median work and work on the next phase of construction.
  • Wednesday July 10 through Wednesday July 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 between Jordan Rd. and Buckingham Circle for grading work.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 253(Concord Rd.) from US 31 (SR 6) to SR 252 (Wilson Pike) including Bridge Deck Repair

  • Thursday July 11 through Wednesday July 17, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures in order to mill the roadway, install traffic loops, and begin paving.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday, July 11 through Wednesday, July 17, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Thursday July 11 through Wednesday July 17, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open. 
  • Thursday July 11 through Wednesday July 17, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday July 11 and Monday July 15 through Wednesday July 17, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations on the interstates in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Monday July 15 through Wednesday July 17, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 in both directions between mile marker 196 and mile marker 205 for milling, paving and bridge end repair.  One lane will remain open.   
  • Thursday July 11, 8PM-5AM, The two left lanes will be closed on I-24 eastbound between mile marker 47.0 and mile marker 49.0 for milling and paving.  One lane will remain open.   

TDOT Bridge Repair

Smith County

  • Thursday July 11 through Friday July 12, 9AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed on I-40 in both directions (separate times) at mile marker 263 and mile marker 267.3 for bridge inspection.  One lane will remain open in each direction.   

TDOT Traffic Office

  • From now through July 22, 5AM-3PM, There will be a full lane closure of the outside westbound (outbound) lane of SR 100 at Vaughn’s Gap for emergency work on the railroad. 

TDOT Materials & Tests

  • Wednesday, July 10, 8PM through Thursday, July 11, 5AM, State Route 109 will have one lane closed in multiple locations between Lebanon Road and Academy Road for pavement coring.  Traffic will be flagged in both directions.

Maury County

  • Wednesday July 10, 8:30AM-3PM, There will be a lane closure on SR 7 southbound in Maury County (LM 33.42-32.42) near the Maury/Hickman County line in order to calibrate road profiling equipment.

City of Nashville

  • Thursday July 8, 2013 thru Wednesday July 10, 2013, 9PM-5AM, Traffic signal installation at Valley View Dr. @ S.R. 254 and Cloverland Dr. @ S.R. 254. Contractor to temporarily close one lane in each direction on S.R. 254 at these two intersections to locate the underground utilities for direction drilling across S.R. 254. Only (1) lane will be shut down at a time. Contractor will provide arrow board and appropriate traffic control devices during temporary lane closure. Once the underground utility has been spotted, contractor will place a road plate over pot hole and secure with cold patch until directional drilling has been completed and pot hole can be filled back in to current grade.

Wilson County

  • Thursday July 11 through Thursday August 1, 1PM-2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-40 westbound at MM 229 (Beckwith Rd.) for blasting.
