June 27th – July 3rd, 2013

 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • From now through July 20, Ewing Lane and a portion of Hillhurst will be closed and detours will be in place to allow excavation of the roadway under I-65.
  • Thursday June 27 and Friday June 28, 9PM-5AM, The right lane of I-65 northbound at the Ewing Lane Bridge will be closed to install bridge mounted barrier rail.
  • Beginning Thursday June 27, 10AM-2PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound between Dickerson Rd. and Exit 88 (I-24 ramp) in order to blast.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Eastbound from I-65 to I-24

  • Friday June 28, 8PM through Monday July 1, 5AM, I-440 eastbound will be closed from the I-65 junction to the I-24 junction including the on and off ramps at Nolensville Rd. in order to perform concrete repairs.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through December 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Battery Lane over West Fork Browns Creek

  • From now through August 31, Battery Lane will be closed for bridge replacement.  Detours will be in-place. 

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from I-440 to Haywood Lane

  • No lane closures this week

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 12 from Briley Pkwy, to the Cheatham Co. Line

  • No lane closures this week

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of Overhead Sign on I-40 Eastbound Near Elm Hill Pike (MM 212-213)

  • Wednesday June 26 through Friday June 28, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane and shoulder closures on I-40 eastbound in order to remove, repair, and replace the overhead sign.  There will also be rolling roadblocks that are 10-15 minutes in duration in order to remove and replace the sign.

DAVIDSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on US 41 (Dickerson Pike) over Mansker Creek

  • Thursday June 27 and Friday June 28, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Dickerson Pike in order to grind and groove the bridge and install an expansion joint.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday June 27 through Wednesday July 2, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday June 27 through Wednesday July 2, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
  • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
  • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
  • I-65, Williamson

HICKMAN COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Garners Creek and Garners Creek Rd.

  • Friday June 28, 8PM through Monday July 1, 6AM, There will be one lane closed of I-40 westbound (MM 162.0) in order to work on the bridge and pave the roadway.

MARSHALL COUNTY, Resurfacing on I65 from the Giles Co. line to the Maury Co. line

  • Thursday June 27 through Tuesday July 2, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound between MM 22.0 and MM 35.0 for paving operations.  There will be two contractors working simultaneous in both directions.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Resurfacing and Bridge Deck Repair on I-24 from SR 76 to the Robertson Co. Line

  • Thursday June 27 through Tuesday July 2, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating one lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to pave the roadway. Also, traffic will be shifted on the ramp at exit 11.0 for concrete repairs.

SMITH COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 beginning at Smith/Wilson County line to exit 258 (Smith County)

  • Thursday June 27 through Tuesday July 2 (excluding Saturday), 8PM-6AM, There will be lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for asphalt milling and paving operations.

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, On Call Concrete Repair

  • Wednesday June 26 through Tuesday July 2, 9AM-5AM, The will be alternating lane shifts on ramps of SR 386 and Conference Dr. in order to replace concrete.  Traffic will be maintained on these ramps.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday June 27 through Tuesday July 2, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for milling the roadway and shifting traffic.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday June 27 through Tuesday July 2, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 northbound and southbound for utility line relocation work.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • From now through December 2013, The inside lanes of Mack Hatcher Pkwy. in both directions approximately ½  west of the Franklin Rd intersection will be closed in order to  perform median work and work on the next phase of construction.
  • Saturday June 29, 7AM through Sunday June 30, 7PM, The Liberty Pike/Mack Hatcher intersection will be closed for paving.  Traffic will be detoured.
  • Thursday June 27 through Tuesday July 2, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 96 for paving.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 253(Concord Rd.) from US 31 (SR 6) to SR 252 (Wilson Pike) including Bridge Deck Repair

  • Thursday June 27 through Tuesday July 2, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures in order to work on handicap ramps, sidewalks, and guardrail installation.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday, June 27 through Wednesday, July 2, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Thursday June 27 through Tuesday July 2, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open.  
  • Thursday June 27 through Tuesday July 2, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.) 
  • Thursday June 27 and Tuesday July 2, 9AM-3PM, and 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday June 27 and Tuesday July 2, 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures in both directions on State Route 155 (Briley Parkway) between mile marker 20 and mile marker 26 for milling and paving.  One lane will remain open.

HOUSTON COUNTY

  • Thursday June 27 through Tuesday July 2, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 46 between the 5.0 mile marker and 6.0 mile marker in Houston County for milling and paving.  One lane will remain open.

HUMPHREYS COUNTY

  • Thursday June 27 through July 2, 6PM-4AM, (excluding weekends), The left lane will be closed on I-40 eastbound at the 142 mile marker for fuel spill clean-up.  One lane will remain open.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

  • Thursday June 27 through Tuesday July 2, 9AM-3PM, There will be intermittent lane closures in both directions on State Route 374 between mile marker 2.0 and mile marker 3.0 for milling, paving, and striping roadway.  This work will be done by Floating Maintenance.  

ROBERTSON COUNTY

  • Tuesday June 11 through Friday June 28, The I-65 southbound Weigh-Station (mile marker 119.0) will be closed (No Entrance) for repair to the concrete and for milling, paving and striping the roadway at the scales.  This work will be done by Floating Maintenance and LoJac Enterprises.

TDOT Local Programs

  • Wednesday June 26 through Friday June 28 and Sunday June 30 through Tuesday July 2, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 386 in both directions at Indian Lake Blvd. in order to pave the roadway.

TDOT Traffic Office

  • From now through July 15, 5AM-3PM, There will be a full lane closure of the outside westbound (outbound) lane of SR 100 at Vaughn’s Gap for emergency work on the railroad.  Three lanes will remain open.

TDOT Materials & Tests

  • Monday July 1, 9AM-12 Noon, There will be a moving lane closure on SR 15 in Lawrence County in both directions from SR 240 to Robertson Rd. in order to core the roadway.
  • Tuesday July 2, 9AM-12 Noon, There will be a moving lane closure on SR257 in Robertson County in both directions from SR11 to SR41 in order to core the roadway.
  • Looking Ahead:
  • Monday July 8, 8PM-5AM, There will be a moving lane closure on I-65 in Williamson County in both directions from SR258 to SR96 in order to core the roadway.

TDOT Uti;ities

  • Sunday June 30, 6AM-7AM, There will be a lane closure on I-24 eastbound and westbound at LM 61.2 in Davidson County (between Cane Ridge Rd. and Crossing Blvd.) in order to pull fiber across the interstate.  Both closures should take only about 5 minutes each.
  • Friday June 28, 9AM-1PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on SR 840 at Central Pike in order to pull overhead lines.  This work is being done by Middle TN Electric.

City of Nashville

  • Thursday June 27 through Tuesday July 2, 9PM-5AM, Traffic signal installation at Valley View Dr. @ S.R. 254 and Cloverland Dr. @ S.R. 254. Contractor to temporarily close one lane in each direction on S.R. 254 at these two intersections to locate the underground utilities for direction drilling across S.R. 254. Only (1) lane will be shut down at a time.
