BENTON COUNTY I-40:  Resurfacing beginning east of SR-191 (approximately mile marker 131) and extending to west of the Tennessee River on I-40 near Birdsong Road (approximately mile marker 134) at the Tennessee River Bridge.

Sunday June 16 through Thursday June 21, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.:  There will be temporary night time lane closures eastbound (MM 133.0 to MM 135.0), for milling and paving operations, one lane will remain open.  THP will assist with traffic control.

BENTON COUNTY SR-1 (US-70):  Bridge repair work over CSX Railroad will cause traffic to be reduced from two lanes to one (12’ lane) in each direction, with temporary traffic signal, for the duration of this project.

CARROLL COUNTY SR-424:  Bridge Replacement on State Route 424 over overflow and the Big Sandy River. There will be possible temporary lane closures in both directions on State Route 424.  Flagmen will be used while the signal system is being installed to direct traffic until bridge replacement is complete.  One lane will remain open.

CROCKETT/GIBSON COUNTY SR-188:  Construction of five (5) concrete box beam bridges on State Route 188 over overflows Crockett and Gibson County.  Roadway will be CLOSED. Detour route posted.

DYER COUNTY, SR-78:  Resurfacing beginning at State Route 104 (Forrest Street) and extending to north of Radio Road.  There will be temporary lane closures northbound & southbound for paving operations.

FAYETTE COUNTY, I-40:
Wednesday June 12
through Wednesday June 19:  The eastbound and westbound shoulders at Exit 42, will be closed for the duration of the project.

FAYETTE COUNTY SR-57:  Grading, drainage, and paving on State Route 57 including construction of a bridge over Norfolk Southern Railroad.  Traffic is now on the new bridge, mainline is OPEN.

FAYETTE COUNTY SR-76:  Grading, drainage, and paving on State Route 76 over Overflow and North Fork Wolf River for construction of 2 bridges.  Grading, drainage, and paving on State Route 76 for construction of a bridge over Overflow and a box bridge over Branch.  Traffic is controlled with a temporary signal and is reduced to one lane in each direction.

FAYETTE COUNTY SR-194:  Six (6) bridges are being replaced on State Route 194 between State Route 57 and State Route 15 (US-64. This will cause a reduction in lanes from two to one every day by the use of temporary signals at the Wolf River and overflow bridges.  Motorists should watch for construction vehicles entering and exiting the work zones.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-5:  Resurfacing beginning at US-45W (State Route 5) beginning at State Route 366 and extending to south of 18th Avenue.  There will be temporary lane closures each day for milling operations.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-76:  (Recovery Act Project) Intermittent lane closures northbound and southbound may occur in various locations throughout the project.  All lanes are OPEN to traffic.  Motorists are advised to travel with extreme caution.

GIBSON COUNTY, SR-104:  A widening project from west of State Route 188 to Milligan Lane and Gumwoods Road will result in temporary lane closures each day.  Traffic has been shifted from east of State Route 188 to the proposed eastbound lanes.  Motorists are advised to travel with caution.

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-15:  A widening project between East of Margin Street to near Hornsby Loop Road will result in a lane shift during the week.  Traffic has been shifted to the proposed west bound lanes. 

HARDEMAN COUNTY, SR-18:  Grading, drainage, construction of a concrete box beam bridge and paving on State Route 18 over Cypress Creek. There will be lane closures southbound and northbound on State Route 18 with temporary signal, with flagmen present, for the duration of the project.  One lane will remain open, in each direction.  Motorists are advised to travel with caution.

HARDIN COUNTY, SR-114:  Bridge Repair over the Tennessee River at Clifton.
Wednesday June 12 through Wednesday June 19:  There will be lane shifts eastbound and westbound on State Route 114 for bridge repair work. A flagman will be present.

HAYWOOD COUNTY, I-40:  Resurfacing on I-40 beginning west of Mercer Rd. and extending to the Madison County line.
Sunday June 16 through Thursday June 20, 7:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.:  There will be temporary lane closures eastbound and westbound on I-40, for paving operations.  One lane will remain open.  THP will assist with traffic control.

HENDERSON COUNTY, SR-20:  A widening project on State Route 20 (US-412) from State Route 114 to the Decatur County Line.  All lanes (new and existing) and adjacent side roads are now OPEN.  Ongoing work could cause temporary lane closures throughout project.  Flaggers will be present.

LAKE COUNTY, SR-22:  A widening project on State Route 22, south of State Route 21 in Tiptonville to existing State Route 22 (Cates Landing Rd.).  Trucks entering and exiting roadway.  There are lane shift throughout the project.  Motorists are advised to use caution when going through a construction project.

LAKE/OBION COUNTY, Reelfoot Lake on SR-21:  There will be temporary lane closures east bound  log mile 7.0 to log mile 8.0, for paving shoulders and driveways.  Motorists are advised to use caution when going through a construction project.

MADISON COUNTY, I-40 between Mile Marker 78-Mile Marker 79:

Wednesday June 12 through Wednesday June 19:  Daytime bridge repair work over the West TN Railroad is ongoing.  Lane shifts and inside shoulder closed, speed limit reduced to 60 MPH, in eastbound and westbound direction, near Exit 79.

Friday June 14, 8:00 p.m. through Monday June 17, 6:00 a.m.:  There will be temporary lane closures eastbound and westbound, for pavement repairs.  A lane shift on I-40 will be utilized to direct traffic through the work zone until work is complete.

MCNAIRY COUNTY, SR-224:  Grading, drainage, construction of three (3) box beam bridges and paving on State Route 224 over Owl Creek, Lick Creek and Clarey Creek.  Roadway is OPEN to traffic at Owl Creek Clarey Creek and Lick Creek.  Motorists are advised to travel with caution.

MCNAIRY COUNTY, SR-224:  Grading, drainage, construction of a concrete box beam bridge and paving on State Route 224 over Graham Creek, will result in temporary lane closures daily.  Roadway is CLOSED until Tuesday October 15, 2013.  Detour route is posted.  Motorists are advised to travel with caution.

OBION COUNTY, Future I-69:  Grading, drainage, construction of 9 bridges, and paving on Future I-69 south of State Route 5/State Route 22 to west of State Route 21.  Motorists are advised to travel with caution.

OBION COUNTY, SR-22:  Resurfacing beginning north of the ramp from US-45E (SR-43) and extending to Obion County line. There will be possible temporary lane closures westbound for paving operations,

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55:  Grading, drainage, paving at the existing Welcome Center.  Welcome Center is CLOSED.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-55 at Mallory Avenue:
Wednesday June 12
through Wednesday June 19, 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.:  There will be intermittent lane closures northbound, outside lanes (MM 9.0 to MM 8.0), for replacement of a light pole on south end of north bound lane.  Two southbound and two northbound lanes will remain open.  Exit 9 (Mallory Exit) is OPEN to traffic.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 8:
Wednesday June 12
through Wednesday June 19:  The left (inside) shoulder of Ramp J, the exit ramp for westbound Interstate 40 to Second Street, will be closed for about six months.  Ramp J will remain open at all times.  

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Bridge over MS River Phase 9:
Wednesday June 12
through Wednesday June 19:  Contractor has closed the outer most lane of the eastbound side of Interstate 40. The closure is required for safe access and egress for seismic retrofit on the Arkansas approach of the Hernando DeSoto Bridge.  The lane closure is anticipated to remain in place until December 2013.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-40 Memphis Smartway Transportation (ITS) I-40 beginning at SR-177 (Germantown Road) in Shelby County extending to Braden Road Overpass in Fayette County
Wednesday June 12
through Tuesday June 18, 8:00 p.m.-6:00 a.m.:  There will temporary lane closures I-40 eastbound and westbound, (MM 19.2 to MM 28.2), for the installation of portable barrier rail and portable impact attenuators.  One lane will remain open.  The closures will only be in one direction in one lane at a time, and will not be longer than a half mile.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240 North of SR-385 to North of Walnut Grove Rd.:
Wednesday June 12
through Wednesday June 19:  Grading, drainage, and paving on I-240. Temporary ramps at the Walnut Grove interchange have been installed and traffic has been routed to these temporary ramps. 

SHELBY COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-240 beginning east of I-55 LM-5.70 and extending to east of Perkins Road LM-12.33

There are no scheduled closures.

SHELBY COUNTY, I-240:
Saturday June 15, 8:00 a. m.-3:00 p. m.: 
There will be temporary lane closure on I-240 southbound at South Parkway bridges at (MM 2.9 & MM 2.91). Two lanes will remain open.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-1 (US-51, Danny Thomas Blvd.) over I-40:

Wednesday June 12 through Wednesday June 19:  Bridge repair work over I-40 in Memphis.  All lanes are OPEN, with permanent marking left. Motorists are advised to travel with caution.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-57 (US-72 Poplar Ave.) Miller Farms Rd. to Dogwood Rd.

Wednesday June 12 through Wednesday June 19:  Intermittent lane closures will be used as needed on eastbound and westbound Poplar Avenue/SR-57 between Riverdale (MM 11.0) and Kimbrough (MM 13.0).  Also, intermittent lane closures will be used as needed on NB/SB Germantown Road/SR-177 and NB/SB West Street (SR-177)/Farmington.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

SHELBY COUNTY -Grade, drain, pave SR-177 (Germantown Rd); Crestridge Rd to Stout Rd

Wednesday June 12 through Wednesday June 19:  There will be intermittent lane closures on State Route 177 (Germantown Road), between Germantown City Limits to Stout Road.  These closures will be for the mobilization of equipment and the topping and clearing of trees.  Flagmen will be utilized during these closures to ensure safety from oncoming traffic and falling tree limbs.  The closures will be intermittent and for as short a time as possible to remove any limbs that may have fallen into the roadway.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR-86 (US-72):  Grading, drainage and paving on State Route 86 (US-72) for a widening project that includes construction of a box beam bridge, north of Quinn Road to State Route 57 (Poplar Avenue) in Collierville.  On June 04, Sycamore Road at State Route 86/US-72 was closed but with access for residence on Sycamore Road from East Shelby Drive.  A detour route is posted.

SHELBY COUNTY, -Bridge Repair (5) on SR-14 over overflows LM-26.28, LM-26.58 & LM-26.74, the Loosahatchie River LM-26.90 & overflow LM-27.25

Friday June 14, 7:00 p.m. through Monday June 17, 6:00 a.m.:  The repair of the bridge on State Route 14 over overflow will cause traffic to be reduced from two lanes to one in the northbound direction, with temporary traffic signal, for the duration of this project.

SHELBY COUNTY, SR 385:  Between State Route 57 and State Route 193, grading, drainage, and bridge construction on State Route 385 from State Route 57 Poplar Ave. in Piperton to State Route 193 Macon Rd. in Fisherville. Trucks may be entering the highway in the area of State Route 193 (Macon Road) and State Route 385 intersection.  Motorists are advised to travel with caution through construction projects.

  • I-40, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound (MM 8.0 to MM 12.0), one lane will remain open, two lanes when possible.  Also, this will include a temporary partial ramp closure at the I-40 eastbound ramp to I-40 eastbound.
  • I-240, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound (MM 21.0 to MM 25.0), one lane will remain open, two lanes when possible.
  • SR-385, Shelby County, eastbound and westbound (0.0 to MM 7.0), one lane will remain open, two lanes when possible.  Also, this will include a temporary partial ramp closure at the SR-385 westbound “On” ramp @ Ridgeway.
  • SR-385, Shelby County, eastbound and westbound (MM 1.0 to MM 11.0), two lanes will remain open.  Also, this will include a temporary partial ramp closure at the SR-385 eastbound “On” ramp from Ridgeway and the SR-385 eastbound “On” ramp from Riverdale.

Monday June 17
through Monday June 24, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 p.m.:  There will be night time lane closures at the following locations, to retrace pavement markings.

  • SR-57, Shelby County, eastbound & westbound LM-12.55 to LM-22.12 Fayette County Line, one lane will remain open.

LOOK AHEAD:  Wednesday June 19 through Wednesday June 26, 8:00 p. m.-6:00 p.m.:  There will be night time lane closures at the following locations, to retrace pavement markings.  No work on Friday night June 21, 2013.

  • I-40, Henderson County, eastbound & westbound LM-94.8 to LM 108.0

TDOT MAINTENANCE
Wednesday June 12
through Wednesday June 19, 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m.:  There will be possible lane closures at various locations in Region IV in order to patch potholes on an as needed basis.

TIPTON COUNTY, US-51 (SR-3):  Bridge repair work northbound over Big Creek log mile 1.66 will result in temporary lane closures each day, for the duration of this project.  There is a 14’ 0” width restriction and speed limit is reduced to 45 MPH, for the duration of the project.  One lane will remain open.

TIPTON COUNTY, US-51 (SR-3):  Resurfacing beginning at Hope Street and extending to the Hatchie River Bridge.  There will be temporary lane closures each day, for the duration of this project.  One lane will remain open.

TIPTON COUNTY SR-384:  Construction of a concrete box beam bridge over drainage ditch, including grading, drainage, and paving.  Temporary traffic light was turned on November 26, 2012 and will remain on until completion of project.  The northbound lane will be CLOSED.  There will be one 11’ lane on bridge.

WEAKLEY COUNTY SR-22:  Resurfacing beginning at the Weakley County line and extending to the State Route 22 connector bridges/drainage canal.  There will be temporary lane closures each day, for the duration of this project.  One lane will remain open.
