DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • No lane closures this week

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Eastbound from I-65 to I-24

  • No lane closures this week.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through March 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.
  • Thursday May 2 through Wednesday May 8, 9AM-3PM, There will be a one lane closure on One Mile Pkwy. in order to perform storm drain work.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from I-440 to Haywood Lane

  • Thursday May 2 through Wednesday May 8, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to mill and pave the roadway.
  • Monday May 6 through Wednesday May 8, 9AM-3PM, Traffic on the ramps at Harding Place and Briley Pkwy. will be shifted to make concrete repairs. All ramps will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 254 (Bell Rd.) from Blue Hole Rd. to Murfreesboro Rd. Including Bridge Deck Repair

  • Sunday May 5 through Wednesday May 8, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Bell Rd. in order to pave the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad

  • Tuesday May 7, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closed on I-24 eastbound in order to install fence.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on 3rd Ave. over I-65

  • From now through April 2013, Third Ave. Bridge will be reduced to one lane.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Dickerson Rd. over Dry Creek

  • From now through April 2013, Dickerson Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Dry Creek Rd. to Robert Cartwright Dr. in Goodlettsville (LM 22.09).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Lebanon Road over Browns Creek

  • No lane closures this week

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 12 from Briley Pkwy, to the Cheatham Co. Line

  • Sunday May 5 through Wednesday May 8, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures in order to install permanent pavement markings.

DAVIDSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on US 41 (Dickerson Pike) over Mansker Creek

  • Thursday May 2 through Wednesday May 8, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Dickerson Rd. northbound and southbound in order to install the mast arm signal.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • From now through December 2013, the inside lanes of Mack Hatcher Pkwy. in both directions approximately ½  west of the Franklin Rd intersection will be closed in order to  perform median work and work on the next phase of construction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 to SR96

  • Thursday April 25, 8:30AM-3:30PM, There will be a rolling shoulder closure on I-65 northbound and southbound from MM 62.5 to MM 66.0 to clean up debris.
  • Thursday April 25 or Friday April 26, There will be one lane of I-65 northbound at SR 96 and one of the northbound on-ramp lanes from SR 96 closed in order to seal the pavement.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, On Call Pavement Marking

  • Wednesday May 1 through Monday May 6, 9PM-6AM, There will be temporary lane closures for the striping of various intersections in Williamson County on SR 96.
  • Tuesday May 7 and Wednesday May 8, 9PM-6AM, There will be temporary lane closures for the striping of various intersections in Williamson County on SR 100.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Traffic Signal Interconnect -- Concord Rd.

  • Thursday May 2 through Wednesday May 8, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekend), There will be intermittent rolling lane closures on Concord Road from the area of Haverhill Drive to Indian Point Drive and from Steeplechase Drive to Green Hill Blvd. to lash overhead fiber onto utility poles.  Crews will cross lanes of traffic but will be able to allow traffic to move around their vehicles with the use of flaggers.  Crews will also make use of the median lane where possible to avoid as much traffic disruption as possible. 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday May 2 through Wednesday May 8, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday May 2 through Wednesday May 8, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 268 from US 431 to US 231

  • Thursday May 2 through Wednesday May 8, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures in both directions in order to work on handicap ramps and guardrail pads and to mill the roadway.
  • Sunday May 5 through Wednesday May 8, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures in both directions in order to pave the roadway.

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 50 over I-65

  • From now through June 2013, SR 50 will be reduced to one lane in this area due to repair of the bridge.  Signalization is in place.

MARSHALL COUNTY, Resurfacing on I65 from the Giles Co. line to the Maury Co. line

  • Thursday May 2 through Wednesday May 8, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound between MM 22.0 and MM 35.0 for milling and paving operations.  One lane will remain open.
  • Friday May 3, 8PM through Monday May 6, 6AM, There will be one lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound at MM 22.0 for bridge repair.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Resurfacing and Bridge Deck Repair on I-24 from SR 76 to the Robertson Co. Line

  • Saturday May 4 and Sunday May 5, 6AM-6PM, There will be one lane closures on I-24 eastbound at MM 15.00 for bridge deck repair.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday May 2 through Wednesday May 8, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for asphalt patching.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday May 2 through Wednesday May 8, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 northbound and southbound for utility line relocation work.

SUMNER COUNTY, City Of Portland

(Looking Ahead)

  • Saturday May 11, 10AM-4PM, State Route 109 will be closed from State Route 52 to 31W at the state line for the Strawberry Festival events.  Detours and traffic control will be in place by the City of Portland.

  • Thursday May 2 through Wednesday May 8, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Davidson County

  • Thursday May 2 through Wednesday May 8, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open.   
  • Thursday May 2 through Wednesday May 8, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.  
  • Thursday May 2, 8PM-1AM, I-40 eastbound at exit 215B (the ramp to Briley northbound) will be closed for milling and paving.  There will be detours and message boards giving alternate routes.
  • Tuesday May 7, 8PM-1AM, I-40 eastbound at exit 216C (Donelson Pike North) will be closed for milling and paving.  There will be detours and message boards giving alternate routes.

TDOT Materials and Tests:

Marshall County

  • Thursday May 2, 9AM-12 Noon, There will be a moving lane closure on SR 373 from White Dr. to SR 11 ( US 31A) while cores are taken from the roadway. One lane will remain open.

Wayne County

  • Friday May 3, 9AM-12 Noon, There will be a moving lane closure on SR 15 from Old Hwy. 64 to Murphy Hollow/Little Forty Eight Creek Rd. while cores are taken from the roadway. One lane will remain open.
