Closure Necessary to Allow TDOT Crews to Repair Slide Area

Chattanooga, Tenn. – Tennessee Department of Transportation (TDOT) maintenance crews will close SR 27 (Suck Creek Rd.) in Hamilton County on Sunday, May 19, 2013 between 6:00 a.m. EDT and 8:00 p.m. EDT to repair a slide area located approximately two miles west of the Signal Mountain Cement Company.

The work is weather dependent.  Should inclement weather or unforeseen circumstances prevent this work from occurring as scheduled, it will be rescheduled to take place as soon as possible.

As always, drivers are reminded to use all motorist information tools wisely and Know Before You Go! by checking travel conditions before leaving for their destination.  Drivers should never tweet, text or talk on a cell phone while behind the wheel.
