DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • No lane closures this week

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Eastbound from I-65 to I-24

  • No lane closures this week.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through June 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from I-440 to Haywood Lane

  • Thursday May 16 through Wednesday May 22, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to pave the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 254 (Bell Rd.) from Blue Hole Rd. to Murfreesboro Rd. Including Bridge Deck Repair

  • Thursday May 16 through Wednesday May 22, 9PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures on Bell Rd. in order to pave the roadway and installing permanent striping.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 12 from Briley Pkwy, to the Cheatham Co. Line

  • Thursday May 16 through Wednesday May 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating shoulder closures in order to fog seal the shoulders.
  • Friday May 17, 8PM through Monday May 20, 6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 12 for bridge deck repairs.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Dickerson Rd. over Dry Creek

  • Friday May 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Dickerson Rd. from Dry Creek Rd. to Robert Cartwright Dr. in Goodlettsville (LM 22.09) to repair the expansion joints on the bridge.

HICKMAN COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Garners Creek and Garners Creek Rd.

  • Friday May 17, 8PM through Monday May 20, 6AM, There will be one lane closed of I-40 eastbound (MM 162.0) in order to work on the bridge approach and repair the bridge deck and parapet.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • From now through December 2013, the inside lanes of Mack Hatcher Pkwy. in both directions approximately ½  west of the Franklin Rd intersection will be closed in order to  perform median work and work on the next phase of construction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday May 16 through Wednesday May 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday May 16 through Wednesday May 22, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 268 from US 431 to US 231

  • Thursday May 16 through Wednesday May 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures in both directions in order to work on signals and to pave the roadway.

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 50 over I-65

  • From now through June 2013, SR 50 will be reduced to one lane in this area due to repair of the bridge.  Signalization is in place.

MARSHALL COUNTY, Resurfacing on I65 from the Giles Co. line to the Maury Co. line

  • Thursday May 16 through Wednesday May 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound between MM 22.0 and MM 35.0 for milling and paving operations and loop installation.  One lane will remain open.
  • Friday May 17, 8PM through Monday May 20, 6AM, There will be one lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound at MM 22.0 for bridge repair.  One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Thursday May 16 through Wednesday May 22, 8PM-6PM, Traffic on the ramps at MM 22.0, MM 27.0, and MM 32.0 will be shifted to make concrete repairs.  All ramps will remain open.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Resurfacing and Bridge Deck Repair on I-24 from SR 76 to the Robertson Co. Line

  • Sunday May 19 through Wednesday May 22, 8PM-6AM, There will be one alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound in order to mill and pave the roadway.

SMITH COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-40 beginning at Smith/Wilson County line to exit 258 (Smith County)

  • Thursday May 16 through Wednesday May 22, 6AM-6PM, There will be shoulder closures only on I-40 both directions for installation of guardrail.
  • Sunday May 19 through Wednesday May 22, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound (MM 250-258) in order to mill the roadway.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday May 16 through Wednesday May 22, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for asphalt patching.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday May 16 through Wednesday May 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 northbound and southbound for utility line relocation work.
  • Tuesday May 21 through Thursday May 23, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 northbound and southbound for the removal of the overhang falsework on the bridge deck.

TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday May 16 through Wednesday May 22, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Thursday May 16 through Wednesday May 22, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open. 
  • Thursday May 16 through Wednesday May 22, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday May 16, 8PM-1AM, The two left lanes will be closed on I-24 eastbound between mile marker 48.7 to mile marker 49.0 for milling and paving.  One lane will remain open.  

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Clarksville Department of Electricity

  • Sunday May 19, 1 AM and 5 AM, State Route 248 (Trenton Road) at the intersection of Wilma Rudolph Blvd. traffic will be shut down to 15 minutes so Clarksville Department of Electric can pull electricity lines across the road.  The roadway will be shut down twice and Clarksville City Police Department will be doing the traffic control.

TDOT Geo-technical:

  • Sunday May 19, 7AM-9PM, The I-40 westbound ramp to Church Street/ Charlotte Pike (Exit 209) will be closed for geo-technical drill.  A detour will be in place.
  • Sunday May 19, 9PM till midnight, Thirteenth Ave westbound will one lane closed for geo-technical drill.  Thirteenth Ave will be reduced to two lanes.

TDOT Utilities

  • Sunday May 19, 6AM-11:30AM, There will be utility work at the intersection of Wilma Rudolph Blvd. and Edgewood Place performed by the City of Clarksville Electric Department.
  • Sunday May 19, 6AM-6PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-40 eastbound and westbound at MM 209 by NES in order to perform the Grundy St. crossing upgrade.
