DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • Thursday April 25 or Friday April 26, 9PM-5AM, The inside lane of I-65 northbound and southbound will be closed from Dickerson Rd. to the I-24 split in order to remove debris and check catch basins for proper drainage.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Eastbound from I-65 to I-24

  • No lane closures this week.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through March 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from I-440 to Haywood Lane

  • Thursday April 25 through Wednesday May 1, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Friday and Saturday),The inside lane of I-24 eastbound and westbound will be closed in order to mill and pave the roadway.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 254 (Bell Rd.) from Blue Hole Rd. to Murfreesboro Rd. Including Bridge Deck Repair

  • Thursday April 25 through Wednesday May 1, 9PM-6AM, (excluding Friday and Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures on Bell Rd. in order to adjust utilities.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad

  • Thursday April 25 through Wednesday May 1, 8PM-6AM, (excluding weekend), There will be one lane closed on I-40 westbound in order to touch up paint.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on 3rd Ave. over I-65

  • From now through April 2013, Third Ave. Bridge will be reduced to one lane.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Dickerson Rd. over Dry Creek

  • From now through April 2013, Dickerson Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Dry Creek Rd. to Robert Cartwright Dr. in Goodlettsville (LM 22.09).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Lebanon Road over Browns Creek

  • No lane closures this week

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 12 from Briley Pkwy, to the Cheatham Co. Line

  • Thursday April 25 through Wednesday May 1, 9AM-3:30PM, (excluding Friday and Saturday), There will be alternating shoulder closures for paving and installation of guardrail.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • From now through December 2013, the inside lanes of Mack Hatcher Pkwy. in both directions approximately ½  west of the Franklin Rd intersection will be closed in order to  perform median work and work on the next phase of construction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 to SR96

  • Thursday April 25, 8:30AM-3:30PM, There will be a rolling shoulder closure on I-65 northbound and southbound from MM 62.5 to MM 66.0 to clean up debris.
  • Thursday April 25 or Friday April 26, There will be one lane of I-65 northbound at SR 96 and one of the northbound on-ramp lanes from SR 96 closed in order to seal the pavement.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, On-Call Signing

  • Monday April 29 and Tuesday April 30, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 396 (Saturn Pkwy.) from I-65 to LM 1.0 and on SR 6 from LM 31.0 to LM 32.0 in Williamson County for the installation and overlay of signs.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Traffic Signal Interconnect

  • Thursday April 25 through Wednesday May 1, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekend), There will be intermittent rolling lane closures on Concord Road from the area of Haverhill Drive to Indian Point Drive and from Steeplechase Drive to Green Hill Blvd. to lash overhead fiber onto utility poles.  Crews will cross lanes of traffic but will be able to allow traffic to move around their vehicles with the use of flaggers.  Crews will also make use of the median lane where possible to avoid as much traffic disruption as possible. 

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday April 25 through Wednesday May 1, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday April 25 through Wednesday May 1, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Monday April 29, 10AM-12PM, The left lane of SR 840 Eastbound at MM 56.3 will be closed for infrared patching.  One lane will remain open.
  • Monday April 29, 1PM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR840 Eastbound at MM 65.5 for infrared bridge end patch. One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday April 25, 8PM through 12 Midnight, There will be rolling left lane and shoulder closures on I-65 in both directions from MM 61 through 74 for grate and wall cleaning.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 268 from US 431 to US 231

  • Thursday April 25 through Wednesday May 1, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures in both directions in order to work on handicap ramps and guardrail pads and to mill the roadway.

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 50 over I-65

  • From now through June 2013, SR 50 will be reduced to one lane in this area due to repair of the bridge.  Signalization is in place.

MARSHALL COUNTY, Resurfacing on I65 from the Giles Co. line to the Maury Co. line

  • Thursday April 25 through Wednesday May 1, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound between MM 22.0 and MM 35.0 for milling and paving operations.  One lane will remain open.
  • Friday April 26, 8PM through Monday May 1, 6AM, There will be one lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound at MM 22.0 for bridge repair.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Resurfacing and Bridge Deck Repair on I-24 from SR 76 to the Robertson Co. Line

  • Saturday April 27 and Sunday April 28, 6AM-6PM, There will be one lane closures on I-24 eastbound at LM 15.00 for bridge deck repair.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday April 25 through Wednesday May 1, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound for asphalt patching.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday April 25 through Wednesday May 1, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 northbound and southbound for utility line relocation work and to patch existing pavement.
  • Saturday April 27, 8PM through Monday April 29, 6AM, There will be one lane of SR 109 northbound closed in order to work on the seal at Pier 7.  Flaggers will be utilized.

TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday April 25 through Wednesday May 1, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Davidson County

  • Thursday April 25 through Wednesday May 1, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open.   
  • Thursday April 25 through Wednesday May 1, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.  

Cheatham, Montgomery and Robertson Counties

  • Thursday April 25 through Wednesday May 1, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be periodic lane closures in both directions on I-24 from the 0 mile marker to the 32 mile marker in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control.  This will be a moving operation.  

Robertson and Sumner Counties

  • Thursday April 25 through Wednesday May 1, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be periodic lane closures in both directions on I-65 from the 97.71 mile marker to the 121.47 mile marker in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control.  This will be a moving operation.

TDOT Bridge Inspection:

Davidson County

  • Thursday April 25, 9AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed on State Route 155 (Briley Parkway) westbound between Exit 12: Opryland Hotel Convention Center/Music Valley Dr./McGavock Dr. and Exit 14A: Gallatin Pike/Madison for bridge inspection.  Three lanes will remain open.

TDOT Materials and Tests:

Wilson County

  • Tuesday April 30, 9AM-12NOON, There will be a moving lane closure on SR 109 from near I-40 at Division St., to South of SR 24 (US 70) while cores are taken from the roadway. One lane will remain open.

Davidson County

  • Wednesday May 1, 9AM-12NOON, There will be a moving lane closure on SR 1 from West of I-40 to SR 100 while cores are taken from the roadway. One lane will remain open.

Marshall County

  • Thursday May 2, 9AM-12NOON, There will be a moving lane closure on SR 373 from White Dr. to SR 11 ( US 31A) while cores are taken from the roadway. One lane will remain open.

Wayne County

  • Friday May 3, 9AM-12NOON, There will be a moving lane closure on SR 15 from Old Hwy. 64 to Murphy Hollow/Little Forty Eight Creek Rd. while cores are taken from the roadway. One lane will remain open.
