DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • No lane closures this week

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Eastbound from I-65 to I-24

  • No lane closures this week.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through March 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.
  • Thursday April 11 through Wednesday April 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be a one lane closure on One Mile Pkwy. in order to perform storm drain work.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from I-440 to Haywood Lane

  • Thursday April 11 through Wednesday April 17, 8PM-6AM, (including Saturday and Sunday), The inside lane of I-24 eastbound and westbound will be closed in order to repaint the median barrier wall.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 254 (Bell Rd.) from Blue Hole Rd. to Murfreesboro Rd. Including Bridge Deck Repair

  • Thursday April 11 through Wednesday April 17, 9PM-6AM, (weeknights), There will be alternating lane closures on Bell Rd. in order to mill the roadway and install loop wire.
  • Saturday April 13, 5AM through Monday April 15, 6AM, There will be one lane closed in each direction on Bell Rd. just east of Blue Hole Rd. for bridge deck repair.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad

  • Thursday April 11 through Wednesday April 17, 8PM-6AM, (excluding weekends), There will be one lane closed on I-40 westbound in order to touch up paint.
  • Friday April 12, 8PM through Monday April 15, 6AM, The right lane of I-40 westbound will be closed under I-24 in order to sandblast and prime the Silliman Evans Bridge.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on 3rd Ave. over I-65

  • From now through April 2013, Third Ave. Bridge will be reduced to one lane.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Dickerson Rd. over Dry Creek

  • From now through April 2013, Dickerson Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Dry Creek Rd. to Robert Cartwright Dr. in Goodlettsville (LM 22.09).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Lebanon Road over Browns Creek

  • Thursday April 11 through Wednesday April 17, 9AM-3PM, and Saturday April 13 and Sunday April 14, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Lebanon Rd. in order to mill and pave.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 12 from Briley Pkwy, to the Cheatham Co. Line

  • Thursday April 11 through Wednesday April 17, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Friday and Saturday), There will be alternating lane closures for paving operations.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • From now through December 2013, the inside lanes of Mack Hatcher Pkwy. in both directions approximately ½  west of the Franklin Rd intersection will be closed in order to  perform median work and work on the next phase of construction.
  • Monday April 15 through Wednesday April 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on Mack Hatcher Pkwy. and Franklin Rd. in order to remove concrete island, pave, and open cut a 12” water line.  Uniformed officers will be utilized.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 to SR96

  • Monday April 15 and Tuesday April 16, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating two lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound from MM 63.5 to MM 64.5 to seal the bridge deck.  Two lanes will remain open.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday April 11 through Wednesday April 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday April 11 through Wednesday April 17, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 50 over I-65

  • From now through June 2013, SR 50 will be reduced to one lane in this area due to repair of the bridge.  Signalization is in place.
  • Thursday April 11 through Wednesday April 17, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound at MM 37.0 in order to perform overhead bridge work sandblasting and painting beams.

MARSHALL COUNTY, Resurfacing on I65 from the Giles Co. line to the Maury Co. line

  • Sunday April 14 through Thursday April 18, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound between MM 22.0 and MM 35.0 for milling and paving operations.  One lane will remain open.

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Resurfacing and Bridge Deck Repair on I-24 from SR 76 to the Robertson Co. Line

  • Thursday April 11, Monday April 15, and Tuesday April 16, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures on I-24 westbound around LM 15.00 in order to work on bridge parapet rails.
  • Friday April 12, 8PM through Sunday April 14, 6PM, There will be one lane closures on I-24 westbound around LM 15.00 in order to pour concrete on bridge parapet rails.
  • Wednesday April 17, 8PM-6AM, There will be one lane closures on I-24 eastbound and westbound at MM 15.0 in order to mill the roadway at the bridge.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday April 11 through Wednesday April 17, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to mill and pave the roadway.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday April 11 through Wednesday April 17, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 northbound and southbound for utility line relocation work and to patch existing pavement.

TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday April 11 through Wednesday April 17, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Davidson County

  • Thursday April 11 through Wednesday April 17, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open.   
  • Thursday April 11 through Wednesday April 17, April 3, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.  

Humphreys County

  • Tuesday April 16, 6PM-1AM, The left lane will be closed on I-40 eastbound at the 144.5 mile marker to clean up a diesel fuel spill due to a truck wreck last week.  One lane will remain open.

TDOT Bridge Repair:

  • Thursday April 11, 8PM-4AM, The two right lanes will be closed on I-40 westbound at mile marker 205 for bridge deck repair.  Two left lanes will remain open.  

TDOT Utilities:

  • Thursday April 11 through Friday April 12, 9AM-6PM, There will be a one lane closure on SR 11 (Dickerson Rd.) southbound in order for Madison Suburban Utility District to raise meter boxes and pave around them.   
  • Monday April 15 through Friday April 19, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 252 (New Shackle Island Rd.)  in order to mill and pave. (Hendersonville Utility Dept.)

TDOT Survey:

Davidson County

  • Thursday April 11 through Wednesday April 17, 9AM-3PM, The outside shoulder on I-40/I-65 will be closed between the eastern side of the 8th Avenue bridge and 500’ North of the Jefferson Street overpass for survey work.  All lanes of traffic will remain open.

TDOT Local Programs:

  • Wednesday April 10 through Friday April 19, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 386 eastbound and westbound (Vietnam Veterans Pkwy.) in order to paint the new structure and demo of the parapet.
