DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • No lane closures this week.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Eastbound from I-65 to I-24

  • Friday March 8 through Wednesday March 13, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-440 eastbound in order to grind pavement, install pavement markings, and shift traffic.  Also, possible closure of the ramp from Nolensville Rd. to I-440 West for guardrail installation.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through March 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from I-440 to Haywood Lane

  • Monday March 11 through Wednesday March 13, 8PM-6AM, The inside lane of I-24 eastbound and westbound will be closed in order to pressure wash and repaint the median barrier wall.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 254 (Bell Rd.) from Blue Hole Rd. to Murfreesboro Rd. Including Bridge Deck Repair

  • Monday March 11 through Wednesday March 13, 9PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on Bell Rd. in order to adjust of utility boxes and milling.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad

  • Saturday March 9 and Sunday March 10, 6AM-6PM, There will be alternating one lane closures on I-24 West bound in order to pressure wash piers.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on 3rd Ave. over I-65

  • Monday March 11 through Wednesday March 13, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to texture coat the bridge rail.
  • From now through April 2013, Third Ave. Bridge will be reduced to one lane.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Dickerson Rd. over Dry Creek

  • From now through April 2013, Dickerson Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Dry Creek Rd. to Robert Cartwright Dr. in Goodlettsville (LM 22.09).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on Lebanon Road over Browns Creek

  • Wednesday March 6 through Friday March 8, 7PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Lebanon Rd. in order to shift traffic.
  • Monday March 11 through Wednesday March 13, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane of Lebanon Rd. westbound closed in order to perform sidewalk work.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 to SR 96

  • Thursday March 7 through Wednesday March 13, The shoulder of I-65 northbound from MM 63.0 to MM 63.10 will be closed for scaling of the pre-split area and rock removal.
  • Monday March 11 through Wednesday March 13, 9AM-3PM, There will be a one lane closure on I-65 southbound from SR 96 to MM 62.5 in order to install delineators on the median barrier wall.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • From now through December 2013, The inside lanes of Mack Hatcher Pkwy. in both directions approximately ½  west of the Franklin Rd intersection will be closed in order to  perform median work  in order to shift traffic to the next phase of construction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday March 7 through Wednesday March 13, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday March 7 through Wednesday March 13, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 50 over I-65

  • Saturday March 9, 6AM-4PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound at MM 37.0 in order to perform overhead bridge work.
  • From now through June 2013, SR 50 will be reduced to one lane in this area due to repair of the bridge.  Signalization is in place.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday March 7 through Wednesday March 13, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to patch asphalt.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday March 7 through Wednesday March 13, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 northbound and southbound for utility line relocation work.
  • Friday March 8 and Saturday March 9, 8PM-6AM, There will be a lane closed on SR 109 northbound in order to pour concrete cap on pier 7.

TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday February 28 through Wednesday March 6, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Cheatham County

  • Thursday March 7 through Wednesday March 13, 7PM-5AM, (excluding weekends), There will be one lane periodically closed on I-40 eastbound in Cheatham County between mile marker 189.5 and mile marker 191.5 in order to patch potholes in the concrete bridge deck.  One lane will remain open.  

Davidson and Williamson Counties

  • Thursday March 7 through Wednesday March 13, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties
  • Thursday March 7 through Wednesday March 13, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open.   
  • Thursday March 7 through Wednesday March 13, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.  

TDOT Utilities

  • Wednesday March 6, 7PM-6AM, On SR -1 West End Ave. at 25th Ave. in Davidson County. This request by Metro Water Services for an 18” and 8” water main installation.
  • Sunday March 10 through Tuesday March 12, 7PM-6AM, On SR-1 West End Ave. at 25th Ave. in Davidson Co. This request by Garney Const. Co. for a 18” & 8” water main installation.

TDOT Bridge Inspection

Davidson County

  • Thursday March 7, 8PM-4AM, The two right lanes will be closed on I-24 in both directions at mile marker 58.6 (over Mill Creek) to repair potholes in bridge deck.  The left lane and entrance ramp to I-24 will remain open.
