DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • No lane closures this week.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, I-440 Eastbound from I-65 to I-24

  • No lane closures this week.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through March 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on I-24 from I-440 to Haywood Lane

  • Thursday March 14 through Wednesday March 20, 8PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), The inside lane of I-24 eastbound and westbound will be closed in order to pressure wash and repaint the median barrier wall.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 254 (Bell Rd.) from Blue Hole Rd. to Murfreesboro Rd. Including Bridge Deck Repair

  • Thursday March 14 through Wednesday March 20, 9PM-6AM, (excluding Saturday and Sunday), There will be alternating lane closures on Bell Rd. in order to adjust of utility boxes, install guardrail, and milling.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Repair of the I-24 (Silliman Evans) Bridge over Nashville & Eastern Railroad

  • Monday March 18 through Wednesday March 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating one lane closures on Hermitage Avenue to move equipment.
  • Monday March 18 through Wednesday March 20, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating one lane closures on I-24 to pressure wash river piers.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on 3rd Ave. over I-65

  • From now through April 2013, Third Ave. Bridge will be reduced to one lane.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Dickerson Rd. over Dry Creek

  • From now through April 2013, Dickerson Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction from Dry Creek Rd. to Robert Cartwright Dr. in Goodlettsville (LM 22.09).

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 12 from Briley Pkwy, to the Cheatham Co. Line

  • Sunday March 17 through Wednesday March 20, 8PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures in order to mill the roadway and perform guardrail work.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, On Call Concrete Repair

  • Thursday March 14 thru Wednesday March 20, 6AM-8PM, The traffic on the ramp from Franklin Rd (SR6) to Woodmont Blvd. / Thompson Ln. (SR155) will be shifted in order to perform concrete pavement repair.

RUTHERFORD COUNTY, Widening of Waldron Road

  • Friday March 15, 9AM-3PM, There will be one lane closed in each direction in order to install fencing on the parapet walls.  One lane will remain open in each direction as well as the center turn lane.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 248 to SR 96

  • Tuesday March 19 or Wednesday March 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be a moving shoulder closure on I-65 southbound from MM 64.0 to MM 65.0 in order to install delineators on the median barrier wall.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • From now through December 2013, The inside lanes of Mack Hatcher Pkwy. in both directions approximately ½  west of the Franklin Rd intersection will be closed in order to  perform median work  in order to shift traffic to the next phase of construction.
  • Thursday March 14 through Wednesday March 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Liberty Pike eastbound and westbound in order to remove curb and gutter and perform grading work.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday March 14 through Wednesday March 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday March 14 through Wednesday March 20, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

MAURY COUNTY, Bridge Construction on SR 50 over I-65

  • From now through June 2013, SR 50 will be reduced to one lane in this area due to repair of the bridge.  Signalization is in place.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday March 14 through Wednesday March 20, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to mill and pave the roadway.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILSON & SUMNER COUNTIES, Bridge Construction on SR 109 over the Cumberland River

  • Thursday March 14 through Wednesday March 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 109 northbound and southbound for utility line relocation work.
  • Thursday March 14 and Sunday March 17, 8PM-6AM, There will be a lane closed on SR 109 northbound in order to pour concrete cap on pier 7.

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday March 14 through Wednesday March 20, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

Davidson County

  • Thursday March 14 through Wednesday March 20, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open.   
  • Thursday March 14 through Wednesday March 20, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.  

Davidson and Williamson Counties

  • Thursday March 14 through Wednesday March 20, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

TDOT Utilities

  • Monday March 18 through Thursday March 21,9AM-3PM, On SR-11 Nolensville Road in Davidson County. This request by Piedmont Gas Co. to replace a gas line south of Radnor Street in first lane of traffic.

TDOT Bridge Inspection

Davidson County

  • Thursday March 14, 8PM-4AM, The two left lanes will be closed on I-24 westbound at mile marker 58.6 (over Mill Creek) to repair potholes in bridge deck.  The two right lanes and ramp to I-24 will remain open. 

TDOT Materials and Tests

  • Friday March 15, 9AM-12 Noon, The left lane of I-40 eastbound in Smith County will be closed at the bridge over Possum Hollow Rd. ( LM 1.06) while cores are cut from the roadway. One lane will remain open at all times.
  • Wednesday March 20, 9AM-12 Noon, There will be a rolling lane closure on SR 7 in Maury County in both directions from South of SR 247 (Snow Creek Rd.), to the Hickman County line while cores are cut from the roadway. One lane will remain open at all times.
