NASHVILLE --- Wildlife in Pictures: A series from a backyard photographer is the topic for the Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency’s March Nature @ Noontime program. The program is Thursday, March 7 from noon until 1 p.m. at the TWRA Region II Ray Bell Building.

Richard Watts will be the program presenter. He is a war veteran and local business owner who enjoys nature photography. While living adjacent to Old Hickory Lake with his wife, he has witnessed an abundance of wildlife from his backyard and has been dedicated to photograph and document as much as he can. He has built a backyard habitat and made his property as “nature-friendly” as possible. His hard work has resulted in an increased quality and quantity of photo opportunities that have resulted in outstanding wildlife images.

Hosted by the Information and Education Division, Nature @ Noontime is held the first Thursday of each month. TWRA Nature @ Noontime presentations are about natural resource related topics and last about 30-45 minutes, allowing time for discussion during the allotted lunch hour. Contact Don King (615) 781-6502 or by e-mail: don.king@tn.gov for more information.
