DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • Friday December 20, 12 Noon-3PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound between the I-24 ramp and Trinity Lane for blasting.  Troopers will be utilized.
  • Thursday December 19, 9PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 southbound at various locations from the entrance ramp of I-24 East to I-65 South in order to pave.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through April 2014, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Thursday December 19 through Monday December 23, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson St. under I-40 in order to paint the bridge.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Misc. Safety Improvements 21st Ave at Children’s Way

  • Thursday December 19 through Monday December 23, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Children’s Way and Capers Ave in order to shift traffic for the installation of a new traffic signal.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Ramp Repair on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) on ramp to I-40 W near Summit Hospital

  • Friday December 20 at 8PM through Monday December 23 at 6AM, Old Hickory Boulevard southbound ramp to I-40 will be closed for ramp repair.   

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday December 19 through Monday December 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday December 19 through Monday December 23, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS  I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday December 19 through Monday December 23, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86) and SR 840 (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57) for road boring and conduit installation.
  • Thursday December 19 through Monday December 23, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86)  for road boring and conduit installation.

DAVIDSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES, Installation of Smartway ITS Message Signs

  • Thursday December 18 through Monday December 23, 9PM-5AM, There will be a lane closure on I-40 WB MM 204 (Briley Pkwy/ White Bridge Rd.) for installation of camera pole.
  • Thursday December 18 through Monday December 23, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-40 WB MM 204 on the right shoulder to install conduit by DMS sign.
  • Thursday December 18 through Monday December 23, 7AM-3PM, There will be a shoulder closure on I-24 WB MM 42.2 on left and right sides for DMS foundation and conduit installation.

DICKSON COUNTY, ON CALL CONCRETE REPAIR

  • Thursday December 19 through Monday December 23, 9AM-3PM, Lanes will be shifted on I-40 EB at mile 172 on ramp in Dickson County for concrete repair.

MARSHALL COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 272 over the Duck River

  • Thursday December 19, Friday December 20 and Monday December 23, 7AM-4PM, There will be lane closures on SR 272 in order to pour the bridge deck.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday December 19 through Monday December 23, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to paint barrier walls and to pave the roadway.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Thursday December 19, 10AM- 12 Noon, There will be a lane closure on I-65 northbound at MM 61.0 for emergency pothole repair.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday December 19, 9AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed on SR 96 westbound just east of Mack Hatcher in order to remove shoulder for paving.  Jordan Rd. will be closed as well.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd.) from Sunset Rd. to Nolensville Rd.

  • Thursday December 19 through Monday December 23, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench and boring operations.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on SR 840 over I-65 Southbound

  • Saturday December 21, 8AM-12 Noon, There will be a lane closure on I-65 Southbound at MM 59.0 to examine bridge for repairs. The outside southbound lane will be closed.

 

TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday December 19 through Monday December 23, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Thursday December 19 through Monday December 23, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations on the interstates in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.

SMITH COUNTY

  • Thursday December 19, 9AM-3PM, The left lane will be closed on I-40 westbound between mile marker 262 and mile marker 263 in Smith County for material spill remediation.  One lane will remain open.  

       

TDOT Utilities:

  • Sunday December 22, 6AM-7AM, There will be a rolling road block on Old Hickory Blvd. between Brentwood Commons and American General Way in order to pull fiber optic line over the roadway.

TDOT Materials and Tests:

  • Thursday December 19, Maury County SR 243, 9AM-12 Noon, There will be a rolling lane closure on SR 243 in both directions from Redwood Circle to SR 50. Flagging will be utilized where appropriate and one lane will remain open at all times.
  • Friday December 20, Stewart County LBL Route 100, 9AM-12Noon, There will be a rolling lane closure on LBL Route 100 (The Trace) in both directions from Log Mile 9.8 to Log Mile 16.6. Flagging will be utilized where appropriate and one lane will remain open at all times.
