DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • Thursday December 12, 9PM-6AM, The right lane of I-65 northbound at Ewing Lane will be closed for staging of bridge beams.  There also will be periodic rolling roadblocks on I-65 northbound while beams are lifted.  Ewing Lane will also be closed in order to setup the crane.  Troopers will be utilized.
  • Friday December 13, Monday December 16, and Wednesday December 18, 12 Noon-3PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound between the I-24 ramp and Trinity Lane for blasting.  Troopers will be utilized.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through April 2014, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Thursday December 12 through Wednesday December 18, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson St. under I-40 in order to paint the bridge.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Misc. Safety Improvements 21st Ave at Children’s Way

  • Thursday December 12 through Wednesday December 18, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Children’s Way and Capers Ave in order to shift traffic for the installation of a new traffic signal.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Ramp Repair on SR 45 (Old Hickory Blvd) on ramp to I-40 W near Summit Hospital

  • Friday December 13 at 8PM through Monday December 16 at 6AM, Old Hickory Boulevard southbound ramp to I-40 will be closed in order to repair the ramp.   

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday December 12 through Wednesday December 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday December 12 through Wednesday December 18, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS  I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday December 12 through Wednesday December 18, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86) and SR 840 (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57) for road boring and conduit installation.
  • Thursday December 12 through Wednesday December 18, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86)  for road boring and conduit installation.

DICKSON COUNTY, ON CALL CONCRETE REPAIR

  • Thursday December 12 through Wednesday December 18, 9AM-3PM, Lanes will be shifted on I-40 EB at the mile maker 172 on ramp in Dickson County for concrete repair.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday December 12 through Wednesday December 18, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to paint barrier walls and to pave the roadway.  One lane will remain open in each direction.
  • Friday December 13, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound for emergency maintenance and pothole repair.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Monday December 16 through Wednesday December 18, 1PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 northbound and southbound near MM 62.0 and on SR 248 eastbound and westbound at the interchange in order to blast in the median.  Uniformed officers will be utilized.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday December 12 through Wednesday December 18, 9AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed on SR 96 westbound just east of Mack Hatcher in order to remove shoulder for paving.  Jordan Rd. will be closed as well.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd.) from Sunset Rd. to Nolensville Rd.

  • Thursday December 12 through Wednesday December 18, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during trench and boring operations.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

TDOT Maintenance:

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday, December 12 through Wednesday, December 18, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Thursday December 12 through Wednesday December 18, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations on the interstates in Davidson County for drain cleaning operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday December 12, 8PM-1AM, The left lane will be closed on I-65 southbound between mile marker 65 and mile marker 67 for drainage work.  Two lanes will remain open.

SMITH COUNTY

  • Friday December 13, 9AM-3PM, The left lane will be closed on I-40 westbound between mile marker 262 and mile marker 263 in Smith County for material spill remediation.  One lane will remain open.  

 

TDOT Utilities:

  • Thursday December 12, 8PM-4AM, There will be one westbound lane of SR 254 (OHB) at 1638 Bell Rd. closed in order for Piedmont Gas to tie in to an existing gas line.
  • Sunday December 15, 6AM-10AM, There will be rolling road blocks on I-24 eastbound and westbound in Rutherford County at Christiana Hoovers Gap Bridge in order to cut and remove existing cables.
  • Sunday December 15, 6AM-10AM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-40 eastbound and westbound at MM 236 in order to install new lines over the interstate.

 

TDOT Materials and Tests:

  • Thursday December 12, 9AM-12Noon, Robertson/Montgomery Counties/SR 11, There will be a rolling lane closure on SR 11 in both directions from the Red River Bridge to the Kentucky state line while cores are cut from the roadway. Flagging will be utilized where appropriate and one lane will remain open at all times.
  • Friday December 13, 9AM-12Noon, Montgomery County/SR 12, There will be a rolling lane closure on SR 12 in both directions from Big McAdoo Creek to US 41A junction while cores are cut from the roadway. Flagging will be utilized where appropriate and one lane will remain open at all times.
