DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • Friday November 15, Monday November 18, and Wednesday November 20, 12 Noon-3PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound between the I-24 ramp and Trinity Lane for blasting.  Troopers will be utilized.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through April 2014, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Thursday November 14 through Wednesday November 20, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson St. under I-40 in order to install the containment system and paint the bridge.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Misc. Safety Improvements 21st Ave at Children’s Way

  • Thursday November 14 through Wednesday November 20, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Children’s Way and Capers Ave in order to shift traffic for the installation of a new traffic signal.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday November 14 through Wednesday November 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday November 14 through Wednesday November 20, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS  I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday November 14 through Wednesday November 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86) and SR 840 (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57) for road boring and conduit installation.
  • Thursday November 14 through Wednesday November 20, 9PM-6AM, There will be alternating lane closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86)  for road boring and conduit installation.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday November 14 through Wednesday November 20, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to paint barrier walls and to pave the roadway.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Thursday November 14, 8PM-5AM, There will be lane closures on I-65 northbound (MM 61-MM 63) in order to install portable barrier rail on the inside lanes.
  • Friday November 15 and Saturday November 16, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound in order to install portable barrier rail.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday November 14 through Wednesday November 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 96 westbound just east of Mack Hatcher in order to place shoulder stone.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of SR 253 (Concord Rd.) from Sunset Rd. to Nolensville Rd.

  • Thursday November 14 through Wednesday November 20, 9AM-3PM, Traffic will be flagged during clearing operations.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

Middle Tennessee

  • Thursday November 14 through Wednesday November 20, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Thursday November 14 through Wednesday November 20, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations on the interstates in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Thursday November 14 through Wednesday November 20, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.
  • Wednesday November 20 and Thursday November 21, 8PM-1AM, The two right lanes will be closed on I-40 eastbound between mile marker 199 and mile marker 201 for overhead sign graffiti removal.  One lane will remain open.   

HOUSTON COUNTY

  • Thursday November 14 through Wednesday November 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 231 in Houston County between the 3.1 mile marker and the 3.4 mile marker for milling and paving

MONTGOMERY COUNTY

  • Thursday November 14 through Wednesday November 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on State Route 233 in Montgomery County between the 7.1 mile marker and the 7.3 mile marker for milling and paving. 

SUMNER COUNTY

  • Wednesday November 20, 9:30 AM-11AM, There will be lane closures on State Route 109 at Donoho Branch for a survey. One lane will be open in both directions.

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Tuesday November 19 through Friday November 22, 9AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed on the ramp from I-40 westbound to Briley Pkwy (exit 204: SR-155 Briley Pkwy.) northbound for bridge inspection.  One lane will remain open.   
  • Tuesday November 19 through Friday November 22, 9AM-3PM, The right lane will be closed on the ramp from SR-155 Briley Pkwy to I-40 eastbound for bridge inspection.  One lane will remain open.   
  • Tuesday November 19, 8PM-4AM, The two left lanes will be closed on I-65 southbound at Exit 81: Wedgewood Ave. for bridge repair.  One lane will remain open.  

TDOT Utilities:

  • Sunday November 17, 6AM-6PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-24 eastbound and westbound near Old Hickory Blvd. toward Clarksville in order for NES to pull lines across the interstate.
  • Monday November 18 through Friday November 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be one westbound lane of
  • SR 254 (OHB) closed in order for Piedmont Gas to tie in to an existing gas line.
  • Monday November 18 through Friday November 22, 9AM-3PM, There will be one westbound lane of
  • SR 254 (OHB) at 1638 Bell Rd. closed in order for Piedmont Gas to tie in to an existing gas line.
  • Tuesday November 19 and Wednesday November 20, 9AM-3PM, Nashville Electric Service will be replacing a pole on Hermitage Ave. and Decatur Ave.
  • Tuesday November 19 and Wednesday November 20, 9AM-3PM, Nashville Electric Service will be replacing a pole at 3708 Nolensville Rd. and Wheeler Ave.
  • Tuesday November 19 and Wednesday November 20, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on Ellington Pkwy. at the intersection of Cherokee Ave. in order to transfer new line to poles.
