CHEATHAM COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Beech Hill Road

  • Friday November 1, 8PM through Monday November 4, 6AM, There will be one lane closed on I-40 eastbound between MM 185 and MM 186 in order to straighten bridge beams.

CHEATHAM AND DAVIDSON COUNTIES, Repair of Three Bridges over the Cumberland River

  • Monday November 4 through Wednesday November 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be shoulder closures on the bridge on SR 49 in Cheatham County (LM 4.95) and on the bridge on SR 155 (Briley Pkwy.) in Davidson County (LM 13.75

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from Trinity Lane to Dickerson Rd.

  • Monday November 4, Wednesday November 6, and Friday November 8, 12 Noon-3PM, There will be rolling roadblocks on I-65 southbound between the I-24 ramp and Trinity Lane for blasting.  Troopers will be utilized.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Construction on Gallatin Rd. over the CSX Railroad

  • From now through December 2013, Gallatin Rd. will be reduced to one lane in each direction in this area.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Charlotte Ave.

  • Thursday October 31, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Charlotte Ave. to remove the shoring underneath the I-40 westbound bridge.
  • Friday November 1, 8PM through Monday November 4, 5AM, There will be a total closure of I-40 Westbound and Charlotte Ave. in order to perform bridge deck repairs.  The entrance and exit ramps will also be closed.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Bridge Repair on I-40 over Jefferson St. and the Nashville & Western Railroad, including the Pedestrian Bridge over I-40

  • Thursday October 31 through Wednesday November 6, 7AM-7PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Jefferson St. under I-40 in order to install the containment system.

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Misc. Safety Improvements 21st Ave at Children’s Way

  • Thursday October 31 through Wednesday November 6, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on Children’s Way and Capers Ave in order to shift traffic for the installation of a new traffic signal.

Performance Based Maintenance Work on I-24, I-65 and SR 840

  • Thursday October 31 through Wednesday November 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson
  • Thursday October 31 through Wednesday November 6, 8PM-5AM, There will be possible lane closures at the following locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to repair guardrail on an as needed basis:
    • SR 840, Williamson, Rutherford and Wilson
    • I-24, Rutherford and Bedford
    • I-65, Williamson

MAURY COUNTY, Resurfacing on SR 243 from West of Redwood Circle to SR 50

  • No lane closures this week

DAVIDSON AND RUTHERFORD COUNTIES, Nashville Smartway ITS  I-24 Expansion Project

  • Thursday October 31 through Wednesday November 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating shoulder closures on both I-24 eastbound and westbound (approximately between Mile Marker 57 and Mile Marker 86) and SR 840 (approximately between Mile Marker 48 and Mile Marker 57) for road boring and conduit installation.

WILSON COUNTY, I-40 Widening from Central Pike to East of SR 109

  • Thursday October 31 through Wednesday November 6, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound and westbound in order to paint barrier walls and to prepare for traffic shifts.  One lane will remain open in each direction.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Widening of I-65 from SR 840 to SR 248, Interchange Modifications and Widening on SR 248 from Lewisburg Pike to west of I-65

  • Thursday October 31 through Wednesday November 6, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-65 northbound and southbound from MM 63.0 to SR 840 in order to mill and pave the outside shoulder and prepare for a traffic shift.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Construction on SR 397 (Mack Hatcher Pkwy) South of SR 96 to SR 6

  • Thursday October 31 through Wednesday November 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be lane closures on SR 96 westbound just east of Mack Hatcher in order to remove asphalt and excavate subgrade for paving. This will include closing the outlet to Jordan Rd.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, Installation of Signal on Nolensville Rd. at the Intersection of Sunset Rd.

  • Thursday October 31 through Wednesday November 6, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on Nolensville Rd. at Sunset Rd. in order to install permanent striping.

WILLIAMSON COUNTY, City of Franklin Construction

  • From now through November 2013, Hillsboro Road (SR 106) will be reduced from four lanes to two lanes between SR 96 and Independence Square to begin utility relocation for a sidewalk project.

  • Thursday October 31 through Wednesday November 6, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be possible lane closures at various locations on State Routes and Interstates in Middle Tennessee to patch potholes on an as needed basis:
  • I-24 Cheatham, Davidson, Montgomery and Robertson Counties
  • I-65 Davidson, Robertson, Williamson Counties
  • I-40 Cheatham, Davidson, Dickson, Hickman, Humphreys Counties

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Thursday October 31 through Wednesday November 6, 9AM-3PM and 7PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be various shoulder closures in Davidson County for rock removal on all interstates.  All lanes will remain open. 
  • Thursday October 31 through Wednesday November 6, October 16, 8PM-1AM, (excluding weekends), There will be alternating lane closures on various state routes for crack sealing.  One lane will remain open.
  • Thursday October 31 through Wednesday November 6, 9AM-3PM and 8PM-5AM, There will be mobile operations in various locations on the interstates in Davidson County for Drain Cleaning Operations.  This will affect the shoulders or inside and outside lanes.
  • Wednesday November 6, 8PM-1AM, The two right lanes will be closed on I-40 eastbound between mile marker 199 and mile marker 201 for overhead sign graffiti removal.  One lane will remain open. 
  • Thursday October 31, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures at the junction of I-65 North at mile marker82/I-40 East at mile marker 210 for infrared heater pavement repair.  One lane will remain open in each direction. 
  • Monday November 4 through Wednesday November 6, 8PM-5AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-24 eastbound on the Silliman Evans Bridge for infrared heater pavement repair.  One lane will remain open.   

CHEATHAM, MONTGOMERY AND ROBERTSON COUNTIES

  • Thursday October 31 through Wednesday November 6, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be periodic lane closures (rolling road blocks) in each direction on I-24 from the 0 mile marker to the 32 mile marker in (Cheatham, Montgomery, and Robertson Counties in District 33) in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control.  This will be a moving operation.

ROBERTSON AND SUMNER COUNTIES

  • Thursday October 31 through Wednesday November 6, 9AM-3PM, (excluding weekends), There will be periodic lane closures (rolling road blocks) in each direction on I-65 from the 97.71 mile marker to the 121.47 mile marker in each direction in (Robertson and Sumner Counties in District 32 and District 33) in order to spray guardrails for vegetation control.  This will be a moving operation.

HUMPHREYS COUNTY

  • Monday November 4 and Tuesday November 5, 6PM-12AM, There will be alternating lane closures on I-40 eastbound at mile marker 137 for milling and paving.  One lane will remain open.

DAVIDSON COUNTY

  • Thursday October 24, 8PM-4AM, The right lane will be closed on I-65 northbound at exit 96: Two Mile Pkwy./Goodlettsville for bridge repair.  Two lanes and the ramp will remain open.   

TDOT Utilities:

  • Thursday October 31 and Friday November 1, 9AM-3PM, There will be alternating lane closures on SR 76 in White House, Sumner County for splice pit next to roadway to relocate cable for drainage pipe installation.

TDOT Materials and Test:

  • Thursday October 31, 9AM-12 Noon, There will be rolling road blocks on SR 268 in Rutherford County in both directions in order to take cores from the roadway.
  • Thursday October 31, 12:30 PM–3:30 PM, There will be rolling road blocks on SR 106 in Marshall County from Spring Place Rd. to SR 50 (Commerce St.) in both directions in order to take cores from the roadway.
  • Friday November 1, 9AM-12 Noon, There will be rolling road blocks on SR 48 in Hickman County from SR 100 to the town square in Grinder’s Switch in order to take cores from the roadway.
  • Tuesday November 5, 9AM-12 Noon, There will be rolling road blocks on Flat Rock Rd. in Smith County from the Wilson County line to SR 24 in both directions to take cores from the roadway.
